Chapter 25 Continue to Gamble

There is a special watershed between martial arts and metaphysics in reality, which is the "release of true qi".

For example, a talented martial arts genius can train the instantaneous explosive power to a height of a thousand pounds, or even smash more than twenty layers of tiles with one punch. This is within an understandable scope. Whether it is Chinese and foreign martial arts, it is possible.

But he didn't move, a white air emitted from his body, or the sword in his hand sucked out a few inches of sword light. This is metaphysics.

At this time, Zhang Xiaofan saw circles of white ripples appearing around the monk's body, and the sand and stones under his feet were thrust by the true energy. Although it was not very conspicuous, it was obviously no longer the skill of the human world.

Then there is only one answer. This is the newly opened martial arts skill book in the game. It is probably the same as my current voice interaction and communication, and it is all in the game test version.

Zhang Xiaofan knew that Kong Ming had a function similar to Qianli Transmission, so he tried to chat with Kong Ming privately and wanted to ask about this matter. But he found that Kong Ming was not online.

At this time, several pilgrims walked out of the Sutra Pavilion, constantly wiggling in their hands, as if they were discussing the Bodhidharma Sakura Zen Staff in the Sutra Pavilion.

Although it costs 50 cents to enter the Sutra Pavilion, everyone has a curiosity. Not everyone chooses to split bricks, so in fact, there are still many pilgrims willing to spend 50 cents to go in and see the fun.

When Zhang Xiaofan saw a few people coming out, he knew that there was something strange about the relic Zen stick. He didn't know if it was as he thought, so he went to face him and bowed:

"Several friends, I don't know what the sarcastrade looks like here. Have you seen it?"

If this person is good-looking, he can take advantage of him anywhere. In front of these pilgrims who just came out of the Sutra Pavilion, a handsome young man asked him, so he also returned the gifts one by one, and one of them said:

"This Shaolin Temple is worthy of being a thousand-year-old temple. I originally thought that this so-called sarcasm stick was just a gimmick, but I didn't expect that there was such a thing. You should also go in and take a look, it's really worth watching."

Another pilgrim nodded:

"Yes, especially the relic inlaid with the head of the stick is milky white and green. If you don't pay attention to it, you don't think anything. If you have to look carefully, there seems to be heavy clouds surround the relic. If you can't see it for a long time, you will feel confused in front of you. The most treasure of Buddhism is true."

"By the way, this Zen Staff seems to have another alias called 'White Bone Broken Cloud'."

The more Zhang Xiaofan listened to the descriptions of these two pilgrims, the more he felt that the Zen stick in the Sutra Pavilion was familiar with. When the pilgrim said the four words "White bones and broken clouds", Zhang Xiaofan was already very sure.

The so-called Bodhidharma Sakura in the Sutra Pavilion is not the most important Buddhist treasure, it is clearly a weapon for players.

At the beginning of the game creation, you can use the text description option to select your own initial weapon by yourself.

These weapons are gorgeous and dazzling, and some of them even carry special effects such as black fog, energy, and sword light.

Of course, it's just an effect. When fighting with enemies, it's as crisp as plastic, and it's useless.

So at the beginning of the game, these novice weapons were either broken on the spot or discarded by players.

Unexpectedly, a player's novice weapon appeared here. So can these all the wrong things in Shaolin Temple be associated with this player's novice weapon that suddenly appeared?

While Zhang Xiaofan was thinking, he heard a few sneezing sounds coming from beside him.

Turning his head, he found that Ma Xier had taken off the cotton robe and gave it to the monk.

People in Tongguan are not used to wearing any middle clothes. They usually wear a half-sleeved, short-clothed inner jacket at the bottom, and a cotton robe is directly covered with the outside. At this time, they take off the cotton robe and reveal the two bare arms inside.

In the cold wind in February, goose bumps instantly appeared on Ma Xier's arms.

Wang Yanlin curled her lips and whispered: "Even if it's colder, she won't be able to get cold so quickly."

Ma Xier hugged her shoulders, looking embarrassed, and wanted to explain a few words, but she didn't know where to start.

Dian Dian was very nervous while standing aside, and wanted to take off a piece of clothes and put them on Ma Xier. Unfortunately, he was short and even if he took them off, he might not fit.

When Zhang Xiaofan saw this scene, he frowned and thought to himself: "This Shaolin monk is too domineering. Even with some magical skills, why did he really take off Ma Xier's clothes? He followed him and his face didn't look very good."

"And there are traces of players in and out of Shaolin Temple. It's better to find a reason to make a big fuss to see if you can alarm the people behind you."

Thinking of this, Zhang Xiaofan whispered to the monk guarding the Sutra Pavilion: "I also want to make a bet with the monk. I wonder if the monk dares to gamble?"

The monk guarding the Sutra Pavilion saw someone talking, looked up at Zhang Xiaofan and the others, knowing that they were with Ma Xier, and thought to himself: "This is a bet and lost clothes, and my companions are coming to find a place."

So he nodded and said, "Does the young master also want to chop bricks? I wonder if he wants to chop this blue brick or this bluestone?"

He saw that Zhang Xiaofan's hands were slender and fair, and he didn't look like he had practiced hard skills such as iron sand palms, but he didn't think that Zhang Xiaofan could split the bluestone.

Sure enough, Zhang Xiaofan shook his head and smiled, "I won't chop these stones. I seemed to have heard that there was something like "written" that seemed to memorize scriptures. I don't know how to memorize it?"

The monk said, "This 'written' is not difficult. If you want to enter this Sutra Pavilion alone and recite the Heart Sutra once. If you have to bring your companions in, you have to recite the entire Diamond Sutra completely."

The onlookers immediately talked about what the monk said.

Diandian was unclear, so he asked Wang Yanlin and Ma Xier: "Is there any difference between these two scriptures?"

Ma Xier and Wang Yanlin didn't understand the Buddhist scriptures either, so Ma Xier said vaguely:

"Maybe the depth of these Buddhist scriptures is different. Just like the Three Character Classics and the Analects of Confucius, you must read the elementary school of "Three Character Classics" and "Hundred Family Surnames", and then go to the Four Books and Five Sutras."

Ma Xier's words were a little louder. An old lay Buddhist with a beard next to her heard it and said angrily:

"If you don't understand, don't teach children randomly. This Heart Sutra is the general outline of the Prajna Sutra, how can it be shallow?"

At this time, Diandian didn't care whether he was a child or not, so he asked, "Why can you only enter the Sutra Pavilion by memorizing the Heart Sutra? If you can recite the Diamond Sutra, you can bring your companions into it?"

The old layperson smiled and said, "This Heart Sutra is known as the general outline of the Prajna Sutra. Although it contains infinite content, it actually only has more than 200 words. As long as you have learned Buddhist principles, you can recite it."

"But the Diamond Sutra is different. The whole article has more than 5,000 words. Even monks in the temple may not be able to recite them in full."

When Diandian heard that the Heart Sutra was only more than 200 words, she felt that it seemed nothing to memorize the whole article, so she murmured: "It doesn't sound very difficult to memorize the sutra."

The old lay Buddhist heard Dian's muttering and smiled and said, "Little girl, can you read?"

Diandian nodded and said, "I didn't know anything before, but later someone taught me some, so I can barely know a few."

The old layperson nodded and said, "It's rare, rare. The world is chaotic, and it's not easy to earn a full meal. Nine and a half out of ten people have no money to study."

"Even if my family has money, I will give up a scholar. I will study the Four Books and Five Sutras. I want to earn fame and fortune. Who will recite Buddhist scriptures without any trouble?"

"I am just focused on Buddha, but unfortunately I am a blind person who is illiterate. I remember how many scholars I have sought to learn this Heart Sutra and how many times I have read it through, so I barely remember it."

"I think there are many pilgrims entering the temple today. Maybe if you can recite the Heart Sutra in full, you will only have this number of palms. As for the Diamond Sutra, there are too many words, but I don't think anyone can recite it..."

After the old lay Buddhist said this, Diandian understood a little bit. He couldn't help but shouted at the venue: "Young man, come on!"

When Zhang Xiaofan heard Dian Dian's cheering, his face suddenly turned dark. He thought to himself that this girl was not big or small, it would be fine to shout in private, but why did he shout randomly in front of so many people?

He only did not hear it and continued to say to the monk: "In this way, I believe the great monk can recite the entire Diamond Sutra?"

The monk smiled slightly and said, "If I can't do it, how dare I ask this question."

If the monk took some unspeakable advantage in the cracking brick just now, the monk's recitation of scriptures was the most proud thing.

Among the temple, there are only a few people who can recite the entire Diamond Sutra.

Zhang Xiaofan said again: "Then may I ask the great monk, can you recite the Diamond Sutra upside down?"

The monk was stunned when he heard Zhang Xiaofan's words, and thought to himself: "Why do you have to recite the good Buddhist scriptures backwards? Are you so full if you don't eat enough?"

He couldn't help but shook his head and said, "I haven't carried it backwards."

I saw Zhang Xiaofan pointing to his nose like the monk just now, and said:

"If you can't, I can. I can recite the Diamond Sutra like a stream. Do you believe it?"

These "remembering it backwards" and "remembering it backwards" are completely different concepts, just like ancient poems you have read well. Perhaps everyone can recite them backwards. It just takes more time.

But if you want to "reflect like a stream", you must not be able to recite it specifically.

If the monk is given enough time, the monk believes that he can slowly memorize the entire Diamond Sutra upside down, but if he says that he is "like a stream", then he can't do it.

At this time, the monk heard Zhang Xiaofan say such a crazy thing, and couldn't help but say:

"If the donor can recite the entire Diamond Sutra upside down, I will not only exempt all the pilgrims present from paying the donation of the Buddha, but also return the cotton robe that I just won. What do you think?"

Zhang Xiaofan shook his head and said, "This is not enough, you have to add some more chips."

The monk was not stupid, and thought to himself: "This young man looks full of confidence. He doesn't have to worry about eating at home and is full. He memorized the entire Diamond Sutra upside down?"

He didn't dare to be honest and said, "Buddhism is poor, but there is no bargaining chip to add."

Seeing that the monk was not deceived, Zhang Xiaofan continued, "This Diamond Sutra is really too simple. Let's do this. Monk, I will recite the previous scripture just by saying it. Can you add some chips?"

As soon as Zhang Xiaofan said this, not only monks, but also pilgrims around him shook their heads. The world's Buddhist scriptures are vast, let alone memorizing them. Even if you read them all, you may have to spend your whole life.

This young man actually said that he could memorize it by simply finding a Buddhist scripture, which is too horrifying.

When the monk heard Zhang Xiaofan's words, he knew that Zhang Xiaofan was bragging, so he said angrily: "What kind of chip do you want to add? As long as I have one, just tell me."

After hearing the monk's words, Zhang Xiaofan smiled proudly and said, "Of course I won't say you don't have it. In fact, you don't need any expensive chips. Just change the three words Shaolin Temple on the plaque of your temple door and change one word."

When the monk heard something in Zhang Xiaofan's words, he said in a deep voice, "What word do you want to change to?"

Zhang Xiaofan laughed and said, "It doesn't need to be too troublesome. You just need to scrape off the word "Lin" in the middle and rewrite the word "女". Just change it to the Girl Temple!"

The "Girl's Temple" mentioned by Zhang Xiaofan is really not his own idea. It was Wei Xiaobao and Wei Jue-Wu in "The Deer and the Cauldron" back then. Zhang Xiaofan didn't know why he remembered this, so he used it.

Of course, this monk had never read "The Deer and the Cauldron". He only heard that Zhang Xiaofan wanted to change Shaolin Temple into a Girls Temple. He knew that this person was not trying to gamble, but was clearly here to smash the situation.

So he said angrily: "Your swears that you are inappropriate and insults me, Shaolin monks. Do you think there is no one in our Shaolin Temple?"

Zhang Xiaofan was naturally not afraid, and he still held his Yuliang sword in his arms and said softly: "Hey, aren't you going to bet on chanting Buddhist scriptures? Now it's time to start a move?"

As soon as Zhang Xiaofan's words came out of the Girl Temple, Ma Xier, who was holding her shoulders next to her, knew that this matter was going to be a big deal.

He didn't know that Zhang Xiaofan had already had the intention of making a big fuss, and thought that Zhang Xiaofan was watching the evil monk strip his cotton robe, venting his anger for him, and defending him.

While I was grateful, I was worried about the safety of Diandian and Wang Yanlin around me. I whispered: "I think this matter is going to be a big deal today. You two will wait for us outside the temple first. I will stay here to help Mr. Zhang with help."

Diandian is sensible and can see that something is wrong. Knowing that if he is still here, if he starts to take action one after another, Wang Yanlin still has some self-protection, but she is completely a drag. Both Ma Xier and Zhang Xiaofan have to distract themselves and take care of themselves.

So he didn't say much, nodded and said, "Brother Ma, you must be careful."

After saying that, he pulled up Wang Yanlin and quit the crowd.

The monk here thought that Zhang Xiaofan was deliberately looking for trouble, so he rolled up his sleeves and wanted to summon the monks around him to take action, but suddenly he heard someone beside him chanting the Buddha's name:

"Amitabha, Junior Brother Bujing. Why are you still so angry after practicing Buddha for so many years? Since this donor wants to bet, what's the point of gamble with him?"

While speaking, an old monk walked out of the side hall next to him. He looked like he was seventy years old and his hair was white.

Unfortunately, Dian Dian had already pulled Wang Yanlin away at this time, otherwise he would have shouted. This was the monk who was originally sitting in the middle of the side hall and "it took ten taels of silver to solve the signs once"!

The old monk walked to Zhang Xiaofan, raised his eyelids slightly, looked up and down at Zhang Xiaofan, and slowly said, "Little donor, I heard you just now that you can recite it as if you find a scripture, right?"
