Chapter 146 Your grandfather passed away(1/2)

Ning Suyi changed her clothes, got off the upper floor, and went out with Jing Chi. The two got into the car and drove slowly. When they arrived at Jinlan Garden, the sky was filled with smoke and blue like ink paintings, and the darkness was about to come.

The roses on the iron fence outside the villa have withered, and another flowering period has passed. When the next flowering blooms, it will be a new beginning, and it will be a cycle.

People are very different, and they no longer exist when they wither.

It makes people think of that saying, everyone in this world only exists once.

The two of them entered the yard holding hands. When Tai Shuying heard the sound of parking, she opened the door of the main hall and walked out to greet the two.

Ning Suyi hooked her hair in her ears, lowered her head slightly and climbed up the stairs. She raised her eyes and saw Tai Shuying standing under the eaves of the corridor not far away. She pulled out her hand from Jing Chi's palm and stepped forward to hold her: "Why did you come out?"

Tai Shuying smiled and said, "I knew you were here as soon as I heard it."

Jing Chi smiled and greeted respectfully: "Hello Auntie."

As he said that, he presented the things in his hand, including bird's nest ginseng, etc., and put them in several bags.

Tai Shuying angrily said, "Why are you so polite every time you come here? You even brought gifts. They are all family members, so you are not allowed to bring them again in the future." Instead, patted Ning Suyi's arm and emphasized to her, "Please keep him in mind, don't let him take them."

Ning Suyi nodded obediently: "I understand."

The three of them were talking and laughing and entered the main hall.

Today on Friday, Ning Yu'an finished school early. At this moment, he was sitting on the sofa in the living room, holding a bunch of snacks in his arms, watching cartoons attentively. He didn't even look at anyone at home, looking indifferent.

Ning Suyi glanced at him and felt a little helpless. It seemed that every time she came over, Ning Yu'an was in this posture. She didn't care much about others and just immersed in cartoons and games.

"Where is grandpa?" Ning Suyi changed her shoes and asked with a smile.

"In the study." Tai Shuying showed an expression of "no way to deal with him". "It's almost time for dinner, and suddenly I was intrigued and insisted on practicing calligraphy."

Since the old man has become ill, his temper has become strange, and he usually thinks of it happening one after another. In order to make him happy, as long as what he does is not harmful to his health, his family usually follows him.

Ning Suyi said: "I'll go and have a look."

She and Jing Chi went to the study together. In order to prevent the old man from having an unexpected situation, no one knew about it. The door of the study was wide open, and you could see the situation inside when you stood at the door.

The old man wore indigo blue cotton and linen long-sleeved trousers, folded the sleeves several layers and rolled them to his forearm.

Instead of sitting in the Grand Master chair he used to use, he sat in a wheelchair. For this reason, Ning Zongde specially customized a relatively low desk for him.

The wheelchair was fixed. He held a brush in his hand and could see that the pen was very particular. He placed a copybook on the left and a good light brown silk paper spread out on the right, and two columns of words were written on it.

He didn't notice the two people at the door, lowered their heads and dipped ink into the inkstone, lifted the pen and wrote again. His fingers couldn't stop trembling, and the ink dots condensed on the tip of the pen dripped on the rice paper, causing his brows to frown deeply.

Ning Suyi felt very uncomfortable when she witnessed this scene. She had not moved for a long time and couldn't bear to disturb her. She stood silently not far away with Jing Chi.

"Why are you standing here?" A familiar voice suddenly came from behind.

Ning Suyi turned around and looked at Ning Yiyang, who came back from the company. She wore a pure black haute couture suit, a snow-white shirt with a dark blue tie, and was meticulous from head to toe. He looked handsome and dressed in formal clothes to a great extent to create a noble temperament that no one can get close to, as if he was born.

"Grandpa is learning calligraphy, so it's hard to get in and disturb me." Ning Suyi said.

Ning Yiyang nodded and stopped talking to her. He turned around and walked towards Ning Yu'an, touching his head with his hand: "Why are you still watching TV and finishing your homework?"

Ning Yuan didn't want to pay attention to him, so he turned his head, avoided his touch, and stared at the TV.

Ning Yiyang frowned, his deep eyes full of displeasure. He found that the child had become more and more silent recently and it was becoming more and more difficult to discipline. He could not suppress his anger at the moment: "I can't hear what I talk to you?"

Ning Yu'an looked up at him and said with a bad attitude: "Tomorrow is Saturday, I can't write it tomorrow."

Ning Yiyang was immediately blocked and said nothing. He was busy all day long, so he didn't notice any difference between working days and weekends.

"How did this week's test take?" Ning Yiyang sat on the sofa and changed his question.

"Do you care about me!" Ning Yuan suddenly jumped up from the sofa like a cat with a tail stepped on, biting her cheeks and glaring at him angrily, "Grandpa said you have a new wife and children outside, why do you care about me? Get out, you don't want to see you."

Ning Yiyang was furious, and in a moment, the blue veins on his forehead burst out. He rushed over and slapped him: "Who told you to speak so big or small? I think you are becoming more and more lawless. If you don't want to stay at home, go find your mother as soon as possible, you will be abusive!"

Ning Yu'an's two hands hanging beside him clenched into fists. He grew up one year old, and he was not as good as before when he was beaten and scolded. He looked a little cunning as he gritted his teeth.

Tai Shuying heard the noise coming out of the kitchen. She was just helping Aunt Zhen cook. She didn't listen carefully, but only vaguely caught a few words, so she didn't know what the father and son were arguing.

"What's wrong?" Tai Shuying saw Ning Yu'an's left cheek swollen and red, and a chubby little face was stubborn and endurable. She didn't know how to persuade her, and sighed, "No matter what, you can't slap it, this..."

A child of this age has the strongest self-esteem. He slapped him in the face. What if he can't think about it for a moment?

Tai Shuying was worried: "An An, Aunt Zhen made fried chicken legs for you. Should I come and taste one first?"

Ning Yuan did not follow the steps she gave her to her, glared at Ning Yiyang viciously, touched her face and rushed upstairs. After a moment, a "bang" sounded like a door closed at the entrance of the stairs.

Ning Yiyang was so angry that he looked sinister.

Seeing that he had no reaction, Tai Shuying stopped persuading him and turned back to the kitchen.

Aunt Zhen met her slightly annoyed eyes and asked in a low voice: "Aan An and his father are quarreling again?"

"Oh, I don't know why it's like this. This is a young age and many ideas have not yet been formed. It is the age when people need guidance. The man who goes out early and comes back late and doesn't care about it, and he is very rare to say a few words to his children when he is free, always with a high accusation tone, which will be difficult to deal with in the future."

Tai Shuying sometimes helps educate Ning Yu'an at home, but the child is not as light as he is, and it is difficult to discipline him very much. Over time, she also loses patience.

Tai Shuying frowned: "Xiao Chi is still at home, so it makes people laugh."

Aunt Zhen put meat filling into two pieces of eggplant, wrapped a layer of batter and fryed it into the oil pan, and said with a smile: "Young Master Jing is not an outsider, so he won't joke."

In the past few days, the two families have discussed some details of the engagement. When it comes to this, Tai Shuying was much cheerful and muttered: "I don't think about it anymore. I'll make the remaining two dishes, it's rare for the two children to come."

Aunt Zhen smiled and said, "Hey, I'll give you the place after frying the eggplant box."

When Ning Suyi and Jing Chi came out of the living room just now, they knew it. Ning Yiyang hit the child because the child poked his sore spot.

Ning Suyi looked very bad, and she held Jing Chi's hand and looked at him silently.

He lowered his eyes and stared at her eyes, guessing what she was thinking, and smiled gently, indicating that he didn't care.

He almost knew the situation at her family, so he would not take such a small episode to heart.

"Su Yi, when will he come back?"

The old man who was immersed in his own world woke up and put his brush on the pen holder. He raised his eyes and looked at the door, showing a loving smile.

Ning Suyi's eyes shifted and she was in a daze. She felt like she had not lost her mind yet. He was still the old man who was strategizing in the shopping mall and admired.

But she knew that she would never go back to such a time.

Now he is just a little old man who can't write a word well. He will lose his temper because he can't eat a piece of pastry and will sleep for a long nap.

Maybe one day in the future, he will not be able to sleep forever.

Ning Su was in a mess and reluctantly calmed down. He pulled Jing Chi into the study room with a gentle and soft smile on his face: "I've been back a long time ago. I saw you writing, but I didn't come in to disturb you."

The old man nodded, his eyes fell on Jing Chi's face, and he squinted his eyes and looked at him for a long time, as if he was trying to identify it.

Jing Chi didn't rush to say hello, waiting for him to recognize him.

After a while, the old man smiled, opened his mouth and spit out a few words: "Is it Xiaochi?"

Jing Chi raised his eyebrows and showed surprise on his face. Unexpectedly, he could still recognize himself. He was ready to introduce himself. He heard this, and he hurried to him: "Yes, I am Xiao Chi, come and see you."

The old man pointed to the words on the table and asked him with anticipation: "How about the words I just copied?"

Jing Chi and Ning Suyi's eyes fell on rice paper at the same time. Compared with the previous words that were like dragons and snakes, silver hooks and iron paintings, the words in front of him were really far apart.

The force is not strong enough, the shape of the characters is also scattered, and there are ink dots that accidentally dripped from it.

Jing Chi looked at the old man and smiled, without falsely flattering or belittled, and said truthfully: "I have been practicing calligraphy for a few years, but I am not enough to compare with my grandfather."

The old man let out a short smile, pointed to the brush that had just been used on the pen holder, and slowly said to him: "Write... I'll take a look at some words."

Jing Chi let out a "ah" and his expression stopped.

Ning Suyi watched from the side, suppressed his laughter, feeling that his expression seemed to be not prepared in advance, and was temporarily pulled by the teacher to recite the text.

Of course, Jing Chi would not refuse the old man's request. He took a deep breath, walked to the desk, picked up his pen, brewed for a moment, and wrote a few words on the piece of rice paper that the old man used.

The old man turned his head and looked at him with a smile: "It's okay to control the pen."

This evaluation means barely being qualified. Jing Chi breathed a sigh of relief. In fact, he knew that the words he wrote were not very good, especially in the eyes of the old man who had a deep knowledge of calligraphy, it was even more worth mentioning. It is rare to get his word "yes".

Jing Chi put down his pen and said respectfully: "I will go back and continue practicing, and I will find an opportunity to write it to my grandfather in the future."

The old man was very satisfied: "Okay."

The grandfather and grandson were having a happy chat. Aunt Zhen stood at the door, knocking on the door panel symbolically, and said with a smile: "It's time to start a meal."

Ning Suyi started to clean up the scattered things on the desk. After she finished tidying up, Jing Chi pushed the old man, first went to the bathroom to help him wash his hands, and then pushed him to the restaurant.

Ning Zongcheng, Ning Zongde, and Ning Yiyang had already sat down. Tai Shuying served the last dish and sat down.

Aunt Zhen slowly walked down from the upstairs, rubbed her hands, and looked a little embarrassed: "I knocked on the door a few times, but An An didn't respond. The door locked from the inside. I shouted a few times, but he ignored me."

Ning Zongcheng looked depressed: "What's wrong with this?" After asking this, he suddenly reacted, turned to look at Ning Yiyang, and said angrily, "Are you scolding him again?"

Ning Yiyang didn't answer.

Ning Zongcheng was so angry that he threw his chopsticks: "Is there anyone who is like you? You don't take your child seriously, so he pointed to the fox outside and gave birth to it. I think you are pretending to be shit in your mind!"

With outsiders here, Ning Yiyang's face suddenly became extremely ugly: "Enough."

After hearing this, Tai Shuying looked at Jing Chi opposite him first. He looked as usual and did not show any abnormality. However, she was so embarrassed that she winked on her husband and asked him to help persuade him to not be too embarrassed.

Ning Zongde cleared his throat and said in a deep voice: "Everyone said less, let's have a meal first. Let the aunt cook some food for An An later."

Tai Shuying took the opportunity to change the topic: "Xiao Chi, eat vegetables and try the braised fish made by my aunt."
