Chapter 55 You and Jing Chi are in conflict

As Ning Suyi returned to the company and regained power, the rumors in the past few days gradually faded, and Ning Suyi was so busy that she had no time to think about anything else, so she was too lazy to pursue it.

I thought the matter was left unresolved, but at a morning meeting, a director questioned indirectly. His words meant that he did not dare to hand over the company to a person with mental problems. It was nothing different from a time bomb.

Ning Suyi was silent at first, then sneered and fought back, otherwise would it be handed to you?

The man dared not say anything anymore.

Ning Suyi added another sentence, why don’t I send the physical examination report to your desk and let you take a closer look at who seems to be sick?

At this point, no one dares to gossip in the company anymore.

Ning Suyi spent a busy week and was a little free on Saturday. She didn't let herself relax. She was busy in the company as usual until after get off work time passed.

The phone rang on the desk, and she hurriedly wanted to reply to an email. She swiped her finger to answer the key, then clicked on the hands-free, and typed the keyboard without idle hands. Lines of English appeared in the email reply box.

Mu Jingting's voice came from the other side of the phone: "Do you have time when passing by your company? Have a meal together tonight?"

Ning Suyi paused for a few seconds with her fingers, and estimated the time it would take to reply to the email, saying, "It may take twenty minutes to wait, I'm busy."

Mu Jingting smiled indifferently and said, "It's okay, you're busy with yours, I'll wait for you."

Ning Suyi ignored him and flew his fingers. After typing the rest, he dragged the mouse to the beginning and carefully checked it from beginning to end. He corrected several spelling errors in the word that occurred due to the keyboard being typing too fast. The others were fine, so he clicked "Send".

Looking at the time, it was five minutes later than expected.

Ning Suyi got up to pack up her things, called Uncle Xu, and asked him to go home first without waiting for her.

Over the past week, the temperature has been falling again and again. The winter in Ningcheng is coming in a raging manner. As soon as you go out, the cold and biting wind comes to you, which penetrates the gaps in your clothes.

Mu Jingting saw the beautiful figure through the car window, got off from the driver's seat, went around to the other side to open the door for her.

"Sorry, it took a long time to delay." Ning Suyi said.

"It's not too late." Mu Jingting smiled, his tone of gentleness.

Ning Suyi wore a white turtleneck sweater in a black wool coat, with the collar naturally stacked on the jaw, and a dark brown plaid skirt and flat boots.

First of all, it is to keep warm because she is tall and has no visual height and fashion sense.

Ning Suyi bowed and sat in the co-pilot. Mu Jingting closed the door for her, got in the car again, and said while wearing his seat belt, "Is it okay to eat Western food? If you don't like it, we can change to something else."

After booking the restaurant, he realized that Ning Suyi was probably tired of Western food during the years she studied abroad. When he was hesitating whether to withdraw, the car had already driven downstairs of her company.

Ning Suyi would never guess. As he asked this, he had already made arrangements and didn't want to exchange them again and add to the trouble. He said, "I can do it, I'm not very picky about food, and the restaurant you choose will not be difficult to eat."

"Well, your words put a little pressure on me. I will complain if it's not delicious." Mu Jingting joked.

Ning Suyi smiled.

When the car started, she leaned on the back of the chair, and the smile on her lips faded away. She raised one hand and put it on her forehead, closed her eyes slightly, showing her fatigue.

At the red light in front, Mu Jingting stepped on the brakes and the car stopped steadily. He turned his head and looked at her quietly, with his palm coming to her head. She opened her eyes wide and turned her head to the window.

Mu Jingting looked as usual and asked her: "Is it very tired?"

"No." Ning Suyi put down her hand and put it on her legs casually. "I was thinking about the email I replied to just now, there may be something that was not very appropriate."

Mu Jingting was about to unravel, but Ning Suyi pointed ahead and reminded him: "It's turned green."

It took nearly 40 minutes to drive and finally parked around the corner of an old street in the 1970s. The whole street is full of restaurants that have been around for the past. It is not famous from the outside, but it is all hidden in the world.

There are rows of French sycamore trees on both sides of the street, destroyed by winter, leaving only messy branches, and even the fallen leaves on the ground were cleared, as if they were so mottled and bare from beginning to end.

Ning Suyi walked beside Mu Jingting and was led to the upper room by him.

The waiter waiting at the door took the clothes of the two of them and put them in, reached out to make an invitation gesture, and took them to the seat.

The decoration is of a time-honored style and is quite gorgeous and retro. The murals in the box are framed with golden patterns. The paintings are Hong Kong beauties in old newspapers. The lampshade of the wall lamp is a magnolia bud, embedded on the bronze base, emitting a milky white light.

There is a European-style semicircular window frame facing the street, with brown and red velvet curtains hanging on both sides.

The beauties in the movie like to sit on such window ridges to smoke. It is best to wear a black glove on the hand that holds the cigarette, so that it will have charm.

Ning Suyi looked around before she sat down and praised her: "The environment is beautiful."

Mu Jingting smiled. It was not easy to find such a restaurant that was suitable for her preferences and tastes. Fortunately, the hard work was not in vain and could make her smile.

The rectangular dining table is covered with dining cloth, a handful of fresh blue-purple hydrangeas in the middle, mixed with a few white roses with water droplets, and the fragrance is rich.

After the ordering session, Mu Jingting chatted with her for a few words, suddenly remembered the situation in the ward that day and asked: "Did you have a conflict with Jing Chi?"

Ning Suyi took a sip of boiled water and was a little puzzled: "Why do you say that?"

"I don't know, I'm intuition."

"No, we didn't quarrel."

Mu Jingting changed the topic and talked about other things, such as the movie he invested in recently. He waited for the heroine's schedule for nearly three months, but was still a big shot when he was about to come. Finally, he changed to a film queen and cooperated happily.

Ning Suyi didn't know anything about the entertainment industry, but heard it strangely and asked him: "Can we say which female star it is?"

"Are you referring to a big shot or a movie queen?"

"A big shot."

Mu Jingting smiled gently, as if she didn't expect that she would gossip about these things, and whispered to her a name. Ning Suyi was very disappointed when she heard it: "My mother was still following the TV series she starred in some time ago, and she really liked her."

"She has good acting skills, so I won't comment on her character."

The meal was pushed over, and the appetizers were hot. The main dish was Australian naked eye steak, Burgundy baked snail and lobster soup. I ordered a separate candied foie gras for Ning Suyi, and the dessert was an apple tart.

It should have been served with a white wine, but Su Yi should not drink alcohol. Mu Jingting wanted to drive, so the two of them only drank soaked water.

It’s not the British and Western food that Ning Suyi is familiar with, but the whole set is French. Overall, she is very satisfied with eating.

Mu Jingting asked her if it was delicious, so she said truthfully: "Of course it's delicious, I'm a little full. If I could drink, it would be even more wonderful."

Mu Jingting deliberately breathed a sigh of relief: "Fortunately the chef did not disappoint my expectations."
