0040 From horseback riding to flying

At 8 p.m., Toyota Center.

The Rockets returned to Houston with two consecutive away wins, and started their first home game in the new season, making Rockets fans energetic. The whole stadium was full. Usually, the venue that had to wait until the middle of the first quarter was full, and this time it was full.

Rocket Bear waved the team flag and ran back and forth on the sidelines. After several rounds around the field, he suddenly stopped in front of Su Yang, staring at Su Yang with his hands on his hips, as if interrogating a prisoner, suddenly raised his hand and shook his head, as if saying: "You are wrong!"

A sentence is displayed simultaneously on the large screen in the center of the stadium: "Su Yang, you don't know anything..."

The audience was hilarious and cheered and shouted in various ways. The central large screen shot was immediately aimed at Su Yang.

Su Yang looked at the Rocket Bear and looked through the tactical notes on his own. He felt no fluctuations in his heart, and even felt a little awkward.

Perhaps because he felt that Su Yang was too arrogant, the Rockets fans behind the bench began to shout loudly, trying to make him break the defense.

"I know you said so that you want to become famous, you want to attract attention, and you have succeeded!"

"You are lucky! You are not a genius, you are just stealing McMillan's work results!"

"The people of Houston hate you, we are going to drive you back to Portland tonight and prepare to cry!"

Su Yang turned a deaf ear to the point of not being able to make fun of the Rocket Bear, turned around and walked away, and continued to run around the field.

In the ESPN commentator's seat, former Rockets head coach Jeff Van Gundy sat side by side with former Rockets player Mark Jackson, and between the two was ace commentator Mike Blind, and the three of them were responsible for live broadcasting to the United States that the Rockets were playing against the Trail Blazers.

"Jeff, do you think Su Yang's words make sense?" Bryn asked with a smile.

Van Gundy chuckled: "To be honest, I agree with his words to a certain extent, such as the management did not recruit big-name players in the free market, but that was just the result, not the reason, Houston itself is a small ball market..."

Van Gundy explained for a while, Brin summarized it and asked again: "What do you think of the three tactics he played against the Spurs in the last moment? I heard some coaches talk to scouts and think that his two tactics behind him are genius."

"That tactic made me feel novel, and I believe many coaches will imitate designs in the future."

Van Gundy smiled a little regretfully, "He is indeed a genius, if he is my assistant..."

"Don't if..."

Mark Jackson laughed: "You won't let him set up the winning tactics at the last moment like Nate McMillan. You will think that his ideas are too stupid. I have studied the Trail Blazers' first two games, which can be said to be very alternative."

"So, do you think the reason why the Trail Blazers changed was Su Yang?" Blin asked seriously.

Jackson nodded: "The Trail Blazers have already spread, since Su Yang led the substitute to win the starter..."

In the field, the long whistle sounded and the game will start.

The Trail Blazers starter was about to enter the court, and Su Yang got up and walked to the sidelines, slapped Roy and others into high-fives.

The Rockets starter is also preparing to enter the court at the same time, and the central large screen shows the comparison of the two teams' lineups.

On the Trail Blazers, Jack, Roy, Webster, Ade, Fry.

On the Rockets, Alstom, Bathir, McGrady, Hayes, and Yao Ming.

The referee then entered the court, and the two teams held a jump ball. With cheers all over the court, Fry pushed the ball to the Trail Blazers' half.

Roy dribbled the ball and ran across the center line, hand-to-hand cover with Jack, and swapped positions. Ade pretended to be pick-and-roll, but actually turned around in advance and walked towards the waist position. The pace was very fast, but Jack passed the ball slowly, giving Hayes the chance to return to defense.

Ade didn't panic when he got the ball. He made a jump shot with a turnover and made a quick hit, and Hayes couldn't even touch his arm.

Su Yang stood up and applauded, and cheered with the Trail Blazer bench, which filled Ade's sense of honor.

When the Rockets made an attack, Yao Ming took the ball in the right elbow area, but failed to hand it in hand, and then held the ball high and observed the basketball.

It seemed like he wanted to play a high-level support role, but the Rockets' other strong point, McGrady stood at the right corner and did not move. Bathir on the left could only use Hayes to cover the cover, go around from the bottom line to catch the ball, and then turn around and cover the dribble.

Roy was very tight in chasing and defending, Bathir did not have the ability to stop and pull out, and Hayes did not threaten to rush to the waist position.

After hesitating for a while, the basketball was passed back to the top of the arc, and there was little time left for the offensive. Yao Ming received the ball and scored two points.

The basketball smashed the basket and made a blacksmith, and flew out of bounds in the competition between the two teams. The referee blew the whistle and urged the ball in the backcourt.

Jack received the ball and brought it to the frontcourt three-point line, and passed it to Fry at the top of the arc, and made a big move. Fry took the ball and passed it on the other side, and also made a big move. The two invisibly formed a continuous cover. Roy took the opportunity to start from the sideline and cut across AI.

By the time Bathir chased Roy again, Roy had already taken over the basketball and put on three threatening positions.

Su Yangqiang told Roy before the game that Battier is a classical defensive player with footsteps, wingspan, and judgment. It is best not to play too fine with Battier. Just learn from Kobe, use the ball to make a strong shot and shoot, and don’t give too many opportunities.

Perhaps Su Yang's guidance came into effect, Roy broke through Bathir with a cross step, and scored a mid-range shot from the free throw line.

Bathil used his signature to cover his eyes, but it was useless. The basketball thudded into the net with a circle.

When the Rockets switched to the side, Yao Ming set up a position in the right elbow area, as if he wanted to play against Princeton's tactics.

The Trail Blazers instinctively focused their defense on the right elbow area, but the Rockets passed the ball to the left. On the left, McGrady used Hayes to cover the cover from the low post, but McGrady did not hit the ball, but passed it back to the top of the arc.

Seeing this, Su Yang noticed the Rockets' real intention and hurriedly shouted: "Defend Yao Ming, prevent..."

Before he finished speaking, the basketball flew from the top of the arc to the bottom corner on the left, and Yao Ming stood lightly at the waist position on the left.

Bathil received the ball at the bottom corner and immediately raised the pass, while Yao Ming did nothing to catch the ball and turned over and took action.

Fry tried his best to jump and block the block, but it was useless. The basketball's flying curve was too high and it entered the net with a loud bang.

"This tactic is powerful. First try to pass the ball to Yao Ming on the strong side. If you fail to achieve the failure, start the weak side 2V2. Once the defense is relaxed, look for Yao Ming immediately to help Yao Ming reduce the difficulty of getting in the position." Su Yang thought about the Rockets' rotation and praised him in his heart.

On the court, the Trail Blazers did their first attack tactics as usual, and Ade took the ball from the waist position, turned around and hooked his hand to hit.

Hayes had no choice but to Ade did not engage in any physical confrontation, leaving him with nowhere to rest his strength.

Turning around to the Rockets' attack, Alston quickly brought the ball to the top of the arc and raised his hand to pass directly to the bottom corner on the left.

Bathil took the ball and lifted it up, passing it to the left waist, but while Yao Ming received the ball, Ade rushed straight from the bottom line.

The double-team suddenly formed, Yao Ming hurriedly turned around and got rid of it, raising his hand to throw the ball towards the top of the arc, and his movements were very obvious.

Roy flew out and snatched the ball, and headed straight for the frontcourt like he stepped on the accelerator.

Bathil tried to chase after a while, and the distance was getting farther and farther away, he could only watch Roy gliding and dunking.

8-2, the Trail Blazers performed quite strongly at the beginning and were completely tired of fighting back to back.

During the offense and defense transition, Alston dribbled the ball to the left wing, hit the ground and passed it to Yao Ming on the left elbow, and headed straight to the bottom corner.

Bathir started from the bottom corner at the same time, rushed to Yao Ming with the help of Alstom's cover, took over the pass, twisted his hips sideways and entered the inside line. Unfortunately, his ball-holding level was average and his speed was not fast enough, so Roy forced the ball to stop.

McGrady hurriedly ran out of the sideline to prepare for the response, but the referee blew the whistle and whined Bathir to violate the rules.

Bathil stamped his feet in a little annoyed manner. He was forced too quickly by Roy and accidentally made a low-level mistake.

Offensive and defensive transition, Jack dribbled the ball to the top of the arc, scanned the half-court position, waved to call AI      CUT tactics.

The so-called AI    CUT tactic is the continuous cross-cutting tactic designed by the 76ers assistant coach in Philadelphia that year, using the help of cover cross-cutting tactics for Iverson. Later, many teams rushed to imitate it, and then formed a consensus within the NBA, so they named it after Iverson.

The moment Jack's gesture fell, Webster started along the bottom line, and continued to use Ade and Fry's cover to move to the left bottom corner, stood still and turned around to catch Jack's pass, facing McGrady, and raised his hand and made a three-pointer.

Swish! The basketball is hollow into the net.

The Trail Blazers lead 11 to 2, and the whole process is as easy as cutting melons and vegetables, perfectly presenting Su Yang's predictions.

The referee's whistle sounded simultaneously, and the Rockets requested a pause.

ESPN commentator seat, the three commentators showed unexpected expressions.

Van Gundy said: "It's unbelievable! The Trail Blazers designed three-pointers tactics specifically for Martel Webers. Their overall offense was like a step up from primitive society to the Third Industrial Revolution, from riding a horse to flying an airplane!"

Jackson nodded: "As far as I know, Su Yang proposed to design a three-point tactic specifically for Martel..."
