Chapter 13 Steppenwolf

Lin Qingyang was a little panicked by the sudden actions of these people.

"What are you doing? Get up quickly!"

Gamair kowtowed and said, "You are a strong man. I know that there is no reason for us to pray for your protection, but we really have no choice. For the sake of humanity, save us!"

Lin Qingyang really didn't want to cause such trouble for himself, but looking at Gamair who was bleeding on his forehead, and those ragged clothes and trembling in the cold wind, were greatly touched.

I wanted to refuse several times, but finally sighed.

"I can help you for a while, but I will leave here in the end."

Upon hearing this, Gamair kowtowed in excitement.

"Thank you, thank you!"

Then he excitedly shouted at his companions in words that Lin Qingyang could not understand. Some Middle Eastern people cried with joy, as if they were desperate people who saw the light in the dark, and found their way forward.

Gamair didn't know what the prophet in his faith looked like, but at this time, he felt that this Eastern man might be the messenger sent by the prophet to save the suffering world.

Lin Qingyang shook his head gently, feeling helpless.

"In the end, I still lived like I hate it. It's civilized, it's really troublesome."

He silently gathered his weapons and said to Gamair: "Dig a hole together and bury these dead people. If people die, they will always be buried."

Gamair was stunned for a moment, his expression suddenly became extremely solemn. He nodded, pulled off the dagger that originally belonged to them from the cyclops, and followed Lin Qingyang to dig in the cold snow.

Soon everyone else joined in, leaving only the poor girl, sitting there blankly, crying and smiling foolishly.

Burying the remains of the victims in the pit, Lin Qingyang murmured: "Dust returns to dust, soil returns to soil. If there is really a next life, I hope you will not suffer such suffering again."

Gamair and others stood silently behind Lin Qingyang, and somebody whispered the sad melody.

Lin Qingyang couldn't understand the meaning of the lyrics, but the sad melody still made him feel very upset.

After the simple funeral, the hungry Miller stared at the bodies of the Cyclops and swallowed saliva.

Lin Qingyang is not a guardian, and he has no good impression of these cyclops.

If humans want to survive, they must fill their stomachs, and these corpses are undoubtedly a good source of protein.

Although he did not eat, it did not prevent these Millers from sharing the body of a Cyclops.

He felt a little ironic when he looked at the giant's body tissue and was roasted by humans on fire.

The once man-eating demon king has now become the food of the food gate. It's really a blessing to make people.

After a night of repair, Lin Qingyang followed these people to the east.

According to Gamair, their stronghold is another two days away from here, and there is a clear open area without any obstacles.

There were fierce beasts and wandering Curry people there for a long time.

Looking at Lin Qingyang walking ahead, wearing animal skins like a savage, Gamair murmured: "Humans really need a hero."

Lin Qingyang didn't know that he had become the hero that some people hoped for.

He doesn't want to be a hero. In his consciousness, the ending of the hero is not beautiful, but he only hopes to live with dignity and freedom. This strange world does not seem to want to realize this simple ideal.

In the endless snow fields, the ragged team was struggling to move forward in the distance.

The crazy girl was taken by others, but everyone knew that if this girl could not recover by herself, it would be only a matter of time before she died in this world.

Gamair felt that he was about to freeze, but they dared not stop. In such an environment, falling behind means death.

Maybe Lin Qingyang will wait for them, but they know that there are dangers here, and only by returning to the camp as soon as possible can their poor life be allowed to live for a longer period of time.

But someone still reached his limit and fell to the ground. His companion next to him wanted to help him up, but found that he had no breathing.

The team continued to move forward silently, and people kept falling on the road.

A day later, the team of more than 30 people was now only twenty people left, and each of them had different degrees of frostbite.

Even if you take off your dead companion's clothes, it's just a drop in the bucket.

The cold wind roared at night, and everyone hid behind the hillside where sheltered the wind, sat around the bonfire, leaning against each other to resist the biting cold wind.

Gamair noticed that Lin Qingyang's hand had never left the hilt, and his heart couldn't help but sank, with a faint ominous premonition.

"Mr. Lin, go and rest. Just leave the vigil to us."

Lin Qingyang quietly looked at the darkness ahead and said, "Let everyone pay attention, I feel that something may have come."

Gamair was startled and looked around. He could not see anything clearly around him. Apart from the whistling wind, he could not hear the rest.

But he still chose to believe in Lin Qingyang and organized everyone to form a circle to defend.

Time passes slowly, and the whistling cold wind is still around, and you can't see where the danger comes from.

Just when everyone thought it was a false alarm, Lin Qingyang suddenly shouted: "Be careful! Something is coming."

After saying that, he stopped caring about Gamaier and the others, and he was vigilantly commenting on somewhere in the darkness.

In that direction, he felt a powerful energy fluctuation and was approaching here quickly.

Soon, green spots of light appeared in the darkness, which looked like ghost fires floating in the grave, making people shudder.

Relying on his super vision, Lin Qingyang could barely see the appearance of these things clearly.

This is a group of wolves, each of which is as tall as a calf, and has a population of more than a dozen.

The wolf in the lead emitted no less energy than the ground-breathing worm that he killed.

The wolf pack surrounded everyone and did not launch an attack immediately, as if looking for a suitable attack opportunity.

Gamair and others trembled, and they could see clearly the appearance of these creatures through the fire.

"Great Prophet, have you really abandoned your believers? There is only one day left, and only one day left. Why do we encounter these steppe wolves?"

They knew these creatures, such a large number of wolves, even if the human armed forces who had mastered the preliminary firearms, could only hide behind the wall and struggle to resist.

Lin Qingyang had never seen such a creature, but he didn't dare to take it lightly.

The danger this group of wolves gave him was far better than those of the cyclops.

Soon, the steppe wolves moved, and gray figures rushed towards them at an extremely fast speed.

Lin Qingyang was shocked and went sideways to avoid the fatal blow that pounced on his throat.

The moment the wolf's power landed, his right hand poked out like lightning, grabbed the wolf's hind legs tightly, and threw it into the snow.

The wolf whined, and the gray hair on its body exploded, becoming as hard as a steel needle.

Lin Qingyang's palm aches and instinctively let go of his hand.
