Chapter 15 Lectures at the Tavern: Immortals

Soon, the wine and food were all served, and Liu Shenwei's conversation remained unabated. He talked about Zuixianglou, Huayuan County, and then he talked about his experience of practicing medicine and consultation with his master.

Zhang Xuanqing could only understand seven or eight points, dealing with it casually, eating wine and food.

At this time, there was already stir-frying, but the wine was still low-alcohol, but the taste was pretty good.

Take wine as an example, compared with the fake wine he had drunk in modern times, it was more than just above the level.

So when Erguotou is used to go to ancient times, everyone is shocked to be immortal wine. Not to mention whether ancient people could drink such a high number of wines, just talk about the pungent smell of Erguotou. In this era when wines all over the world are full of scents, it is good to mix white wine and not be regarded as poison.

While eating and drinking, a monk suddenly came into the door. Liu Shenwei immediately closed his mouth, looked at the monk with a little annoyance, and said, "This monk from Suiyuan Temple is so shameless. He came to 'talk' to eat and drink' and cheat the believers of money."

"Huh?" Zhang Xuanqing became interested when he heard this: "Can you cheat money when speaking?"

"It's not usually possible to speak, but these monks' 'talk' are different!" Liu Shen hummed with a stern voice: "Master, you don't know. The monks from Suiyuan Temple like to go to the tavern to talk about Buddhist scriptures and Buddhist stories. They can not only win over believers, but also earn some money from tea and water. I don't know who came up with it."

Then the monk walked to the center of the tavern, found a seat without anyone, sat down, asked for a pot of tea, took out a square wood, slapped it on the table, and said loudly: "It's not like listening to the sutra to seek liberation, can you learn Buddhism and practice? Those who can hold their hands together and sing the title of the sutra to the future."

Liu Shenwei explained to Zhang Xuanqing at the right time: "This is a 'poster'. Every time these monks 'talk', they would read a song in front to attract people to listen."

Sure enough, after reading a poem "Stand Up" and many people in the tavern were attracted by the sight. The monk took a sip of tea and said again: "The last book said..."

Zhang Xuanqing immediately reacted: Isn’t this a storyteller? What kind of essay is a final poem? He still talks... Yes, it is indeed a talk.

I heard the monk's witty words, and the Buddhist stories were all open, and they were so full of joy.

Liu Shenwei's face was getting worse and worse, and he was so angry that he gritted his teeth and hummed: "The barbarians and Hu scholars can have some strange tricks and tricks!"

When Zhang Xuanqing heard this, he thought to himself that the relationship between Taoism and Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty should not be very good. At least, the little Taoist Liu Shenwei, a little Taoist, did not like monks. His heart moved. Liu Shenwei treated him well these two days. Looking at Liu Shenwei's stinky little face, he laughed and said, "Why, can't you see it? Do you want me to destroy his majesty?"

"Master, do you have a way?" Liu Shenwei's eyes lit up suddenly.

Zhang Xuanqing looked around, pointed to a square wood in the corner of the tavern, and said, "If you take it over, the mountain man has his own trick."

The square wood seemed to be a stool leg. Although there was no chair at this time, there was a stool. It should be that a stool in the tavern was broken. After repairing, it was not packed up and threw it in the corner.

Liu Shen passed his prestige and was puzzled, but he also picked up the legs of the stool and handed them to Zhang Xuanqing, looking at him with anticipation.

Zhang Xuanqing smiled slightly, imitated the monk before, slapped the stool legs on the table, making a loud bang, interrupting the monk's speech, and even attracting the attention of the tavern people.

Liu Shen was startled and felt a little nervous when facing the eyes of everyone. At the same time, he was even more confused: Could the Taoist master also "speaks"?

I saw Zhang Xuanqing taking a sip of wine, calmly singing and reciting:

"I hurriedly pursue it, and the cold and warmth are used to survive the spring and autumn.

I plan my family every day and every day, and I am confused and confused.

When will the right and wrong be done? When will the worries and worries be stopped?

It is clear that a road is unwilling to be repaired."

Bang-

Another awesome sounded, shocking everyone.

Compared with the monk's "Stand Up Works", Zhang Xuanqing's poem is more than one step ahead. It is easy to understand and gives people a feeling of seeing through the world, which makes everyone unable to help but cheer: What a true immortal with Taoism!

Zhang Xuanqing glanced at the people in the tavern without stopping, even on the monk. He smiled and said, "Life is only a hundred years long in the world, so many people have sought immortals and seeking the Tao from ancient times to the present. However, the path of immortals is ethereal and few have achieved success. Although people in the world think that there are gods above the nine heavens; under the nine ghosts, there are also ghosts returning to the ghosts; but they are worried and half-believing and half-doubted. Even though there are many legends in the world, there are still some people who have questions: How are there gods in the world? If there are really, how do gods and immortals act? If you want to know, please listen to me and tell me slowly."

Everyone was shocked and looked at Zhang Xuanqing in shock and doubt: Who is this Taoist? How dare you say such a big deal? Should he really know the affairs of the gods?

Then Zhang Xuanqing took another sip of wine and said leisurely: "The poem says: The chaos has not been divided into chaos in the world, and no one sees the vastness. Since Pangu broke the Hongmeng and opened up the distinction between the clear and turbidity. He has covered all living beings and admired benevolence, and found that all things have achieved goodness. If you want to know that the creation will bring about the original merits, you must listen to the gods and immortals who have attained the Tao."

This poem is the beginning of "Journey to the West", but the last few words were changed by Zhang Xuanqing, and the "Journey to the West" was changed to "The Legend of Gods and Immortals."

In ancient times, "Journey to the West" could not be missed by talking about gods. However, now it is used to deal with monks, and the plot in it needs to be changed. Now it is the early Tang Dynasty, and Xuanzang has not traveled west yet. It needs to be greatly changed. For example, the changing of the times, coupled with "The Legend of Wukong", "The Romance of the Gods", and even "The Buddha is the Tao" written by online writers, the situation is different.

Therefore, Zhang Xuanqing decided to start with Pangu’s opening of heaven:

"In the Three Kingdoms period, Xu Zhengzhi of Wu State said: The world is chaotic like a chicken, Pangu was born in it. After 18,000 years, the heaven and earth were opened, the yang was clear and the yin was turbid. Pangu was in it, and nine changes in one day, the gods were in the sky, and the holy was in the earth. The sky was one zhang high, the earth was one zhang thick, and Pangu was one zhang long, so eight, thousands of years. The number of heavens was extremely high, the earth was extremely deep, and Pangu was extremely long. Later, there were three emperors. The number started from one, stood in three, formed in five, flourished in seven, and was in nine, so the heavens went to nine thousand miles... This matter of immortals also started from Pangu to create the world."

"But when the world was not opened, and when Hongmeng was not judged, a great god was born, called Pangu. There were three great treasures of chaos: the magic axe of the sky, the green lotus of the world, and the jade certificate of creation..."

"Pangu Kaitian Queen, the soul of the soul is three parts, one is Taiqing Daode Tianzun, two is Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, and three is Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun; the ultimate treasure of the Tiantian Pangu Axe is also divided into three parts, one is Tai Chi diagram, one is Pangu Banner, and one is Chaos Bell. Twelve drops of essence and blood have turned into twelve ancestor witches..."

"At that time, the world was named as the prehistoric continent, with hundreds of tribes standing in front of them, and the three tribes of dragon, phoenix and qilin were headed. Among them, dragon is the head of fish and insects, phoenix is the honor of birds, and qilin is the king of beasts..."

In this way, Zhang Xuanqing talked about the first catastrophe of the Dragon and Han Dynasty from Pangu to the first catastrophe of the Dragon and Han Dynasty, and the first catastrophe of the Dragon and Han Dynasty to the saint of Hongjun.

It was said that Hongjun and the Taoist throne were enfeoffed by Zixiao Palace, Laozi, Yuanshi, Tongtian, Nuwa, and Cunti successively attained enlightenment and became saints.

Zhang Xuanqing pursed his lips and ended lightly: "It turns out that the six cushions in Zixiao Palace are actually six saints. Lao Tzu, Primitive, Tongtian is manifested by Pangu's primitive spirit, and has the merit of opening up the sky. He also founded the Human Education, Excerpt, and Jie, and the merit of education. Only then can he achieve the saints; Nuwa made great contributions to creating humans and was also ranked as the saints; the remaining guinea pigs and the two of them, Zhunti, really, as Hongjun Daozu expected, rebelled out of Xuanmen, established religions in the West, made forty-eight great wishes, and attained the saints. It was a pity that the red cloud gave up the futon and gave up the saints, and finally ended up deadly."

“It is:

Lying high on the nine-story clouds, I cushioned the Taoist truth.

In the mysterious world, I will be the head master.

Pangu gave birth to Tai Chi, and the two qualities and four symbols followed.

One way to spread three friends, two teachings to explain the difference.

The leader of the Xuanmen Capital, one Qi transformed into Hongjun."

"But the ancestor Hongjun joined forces with the Tao, everyone became saints, and the war between the two Lich clans was about to begin. This is the second greatest disaster after the first disaster of the Dragon and Han Dynasty: the Lich tribulation, how does it look like? Let me tell you that the next time I will break it down."

In the tavern, there was a silence. The guests looked at Zhang Xuanqing in a daze. What Zhang Xuanqing said today was no less than a storm in their hearts, and they couldn't react for a while.

Who is Hongjun? Daozu? Nuwa and the three disciples of his disciples? Zhunti founded the Western religion? Isn’t Zhunti a Buddha Mother?

Oh, Buddhism is indeed in the West.

Looking at the people with different expressions, Zhang Xuanqing laughed in his heart, patted Liu Shenwei, who was also stunned, and walked out of the tavern.

Liu Shenwei was shocked, his mind recovered and he hurriedly followed.

The two walked far away and a wave of noise broke out in the tavern, and the sky was noisy and there was a lot of discussion.

The monk who had "talked" before had a blue and white face. After a while, he realized that he ran out of the tavern and went back to the temple, like a dog with a broken family.

On the way back to the clinic, Liu Shenwei grabbed Zhang Xuanqing's sleeve and asked excitedly: "Master Taoist Master, what you just said is true? Have you seen a god?"

"Ah?" Zhang Xuanqing didn't hear clearly. He was just tracing: Haven't he learned how to talk about this world yet? Why did he just talked for so long and didn't even hit him?

Could it be an epiphany?

Liu Shenwei didn't care about this and asked excitedly again: "Are you all said just now true?"

Zhang Xuanqing heard it clearly this time and shook her head firmly: "No!"

"Ah?" Liu Shenwei was stunned and full of doubt: "How is that possible?"

"There is nothing impossible. I said no, it's not. Okay, let's go back to the clinic, your master may be anxious." Zhang Xuanqing didn't give the other party a chance to ask again.

Just kidding, although he didn't know about ancient history, as a master, although he was a liar, he also knew a lot about the Taoist system.

At least he knew that during the Tang Dynasty, there was no Jade Emperor, Nezha, Yang Jian, and no Ancestral Witch Clan.

Let’s talk about the Emperor of Heaven. The earliest world was the Emperor Taiyi of Donghuang. Yes, it was the younger brother of the three-legged golden crow and Di Jun in the prehistoric novel.

However, in the true Taoist system, Donghuang Taiyi was the first Emperor of Heaven worshipped by Chu State, also known as "God".

It is God, and it has nothing to do with the Western Christ who calls the winged one.

The reason why Western God is called "God" in China is just a matter of translation. It is just like when Buddhism first came to China to promote Lao Tzu's "turning Hu into Buddha", just to make it easier for Chinese people to recognize it.

Until the Song Dynasty, in order to conceal the shame of the Song Dynasty in the Tanyuan Alliance, Song Zhenzong lied that the Jade Emperor had fallen into his dream and began to praise the Jade Emperor. The ups and downs were effective, and Taoism gradually emerged the classics and legends of the Jade Emperor as the Heavenly Emperor.
