Chapter 698 Hero Zhao Xinwei

Xu Zhiyuan's guess is correct. The reason why European and American companies such as Bronco and El Company are willing to support China in developing the ruthenium catalyst synthesis process is indeed a mentality that allows Chinese companies and Japanese companies to compete with each other, so that they can sit in the mountains and watch the tiger fight.

Japan is a late-coming industrial country. In the 1950s and 1960s, Japan was similar to China in the 1980s and relied on the introduction of a large amount of Western technology to form its own equipment manufacturing capabilities. The Japanese had strong learning ability and low labor costs, and soon became a strong competitor in the international equipment market and began to erode the equipment business that traditionally belonged to Europe and the United States, including the chemical equipment business.

Europe and the United States have passed the stage of making money by making great efforts and sweating. With their technical advantages, they are doing high-value-added businesses. The equipment they sold is priced at hundreds of millions of dollars, and the expenditures of raw materials and other expenses are less than 1/3. The rest are added value, which is used to pay high salaries for workers and managers and high dividends for shareholders. Relying on technical monopoly, the people of European and American countries can live a relaxed and prosperous life, and at the same time, they also look at the people of developing countries with surprise, not understanding why they still cannot eat when they work early and work late.

The rise of Japan cut off a huge piece from the global profit cake, making European and American companies feel threatened. The Japanese's technical level is slightly inferior to that of Europe and the United States, but the advantage is that they are low in cost and have the advantages of low quality and low price. In the US market, Japanese cars are representative of inferior quality and cheapness, but it is precisely this kind of inferior quality and cheap car that has snatched the share of many old American car manufacturers and put them in business difficulties.

The same is true for the international chemical equipment market. The first chemical equipment made by the Japanese was relatively low-end and had low profits. It was a market that Europeans had already planned to give up. The Japanese occupied this market, and Europeans were not dissatisfied with it. But who would have thought that the Japanese used the profits earned from the low-end market to continuously develop their own technology and gradually put their paws into the Europeans' dining plates, which made these European masters angry.

The Japanese's competitive method is very simple, that is, to fight a price war. Although Japan is already a developed country, it is a very hardworking developed country, so things like "death from overwork" are common. The developed countries in Europe are all genuine developed countries, with six hours of work a day, one month's holiday in summer, and various benefits, so the production cost remains high.

When there were no Japanese to disrupt the situation, Europeans sold equipment a little more expensive, and others could only accept it with their noses. Now Japanese people come to promote cheap equipment. If Europeans still insist on the original high prices, the market will be pried away by the Japanese. But if the Japanese lower the prices together, the profits that European companies can get will be greatly reduced. Shareholders, executives, white-collar workers, blue-collar workers, etc. are all waiting to share the money. If the profit is less, how can companies explain to them?

The emergence of Chinese companies has given Europeans an inspiration. Since the Japanese can leverage our market, why don’t we encourage Chinese people to leverage the Japanese market? China’s labor costs are lower. If you work with the Japanese in the low-end equipment market, the Japanese should be very embarrassed. The low-end market is the cash machines of Japanese companies. Once there is a problem with this market, Japanese companies do not have enough funds to support their competition in the high-end market, and European companies can regain their lost territory and return to a beautiful life of being delicious and spicy.

No matter what other companies think, this is how the executives of Bronco and El Company think. When Feng Xiaochen sent someone to contact these companies and asked for some of the key synthetic ammonia technology in their hands, they all agreed. Their purpose is very clear, that is, to cultivate China so as to compete with Japan and hold the Japanese back.

As for what if China develops and enters the mid-to-high-end equipment market like Japan and competes for the market share of European companies, this concern is redundant in the eyes of Europeans. How could China be such a backward country?

When Feng Xiaochen was in Munich, he talked about this issue with some European brokers employed by Bao Chengming. These European brokers said that in the minds of most Europeans, the technological gap between China and Europe is at least a dozen Japans. It will take at least five years for China to develop into a traditional market that can threaten Europe.

Five years later, who cares about its flood?

Feng Xiaochen did not explain these words in detail to Xu Zhiyuan. He just gave a brief reminder, but Xu Zhiyuan realized it himself.

Feng Xiaochen did not need to operate the following things personally. Hagner visited China and saw several large fertilizer plants, including those under construction and those that have been completed and put into production. All of these large fertilizer plants were built independently by China and operated well, which fully proved that China has the ability to independently build large-scale synthetic ammonia equipment with an annual output of 30,000 tons. In the subsequent equipment bidding, Chinese companies defeated the Japan Chemical Equipment Association with excellent technology, good service commitments and low prices and obtained orders for four large fertilizer equipment in Argentina.

Under the auspices of the State Economic and Trade Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture of Argentina signed a contract with China Northern Chemical Machinery Factory and Xinyang Second Chemical Machinery Equipment Factory. Two Chinese companies are general contractors to build four large fertilizer plants for Argentina. The synthetic ammonia process adopts China's independent intellectual property rights ruthenium catalyst process.

After signing the contract with Argentina, the equipment company came forward to organize Beihua Machinery and Xinyang Secondary Machinery signed subcontract agreements with hundreds of domestic equipment manufacturing companies, allocating thousands of equipment to these companies for manufacturing. Among the companies that undertake subcontracting tasks, in addition to some state-owned backbone enterprises, there are also a large number of private enterprises such as Quanfu Machinery Company. Many companies have also done equipment subcontracting and overseas installation projects for Japanese companies such as Ikegai Production Office in the past, and have rich experience. Now, relying on these experiences, they have snatched business from the Japanese, which is also a challenge for apprentices to teachers.

The Global International Economic Exchange Center where Cao Zhiyuan is located serves as a work to provide information and help contact in this business. Feng Xiaochen did not break his promise and asked Beihua Machinery and Xinyang Secondary Machinery to pay the Global Center a total of US$120,000 in information fees. What kind of name is used is not worthy of being told to outsiders. Cao Zhiyuan was highly praised by the leadership of the center and was finally appointed as the deputy director of the center. He is no longer the director who "enjoys the treatment of deputy department level."

Another "meritorious minister" in this business is Zhao Xinwei. After learning that the Chinese used the six-month buffer period to develop a new synthetic ammonia process, Uchida Yu unilaterally interrupted the negotiations with the equipment company and returned to Japan with a dark face. Before leaving, Zhao Xinwei ran to the China office of Ikegaya Production and wanted to explain to Uchida Yu, saying that he had no knowledge of this matter, but Uchida Yu did not give him this opportunity.

The negotiations were cancelled, and Zhao Xinwei had nothing to do. Feng Xiaochen kept his promise of "returning Zhao to Zhao" and returned Zhao Xinwei to Cao Zhiyuan. He also personally wrote a passionate appraisal for him, saying that Zhao Xinwei endured humiliation and shouldered heavy burdens in the negotiations with the Japanese side, successfully completed the task of luring the enemy delivered by the equipment company, paralyzing the opponent and delaying time.

The appraisal written by Feng Xiaochen made Wang Genji very unhappy. According to Wang Genji's intention, Chinese companies won four sets of large fertilizers from Argentina. According to the bets he had made with Zhao Xinwei, Zhao Xinwei should have painted a few turtles on his face and walked all the way to the equipment company. Now that the turtles have not been drawn, the equipment company still wrote an appraisal to praise him. What's the matter?

Feng Xiaochen was open-minded. He sent Zhao Xinwei to negotiate with Uchida Yu. In fact, he regarded Zhao Xinwei as a book-stealing Jiang Gan, and made him smart but was mistaken for cleverness. Now things have come to light. I believe Zhao Xinwei also understood Feng Xiaochen's intention and was running wildly in his heart. At this time, a positive appraisal was equivalent to sprinkling salt on his wounds, which was far higher than painting a turtle on his face. Xiao Feng is a civilized person and absolutely cannot do such an untasty thing as painting a turtle on others' faces.

The appraisal written by Feng Xiaochen did not help Zhao Xinwei, because just the day before Zhao Xinwei returned to the Global Center to report his work, the center received an anonymous report, claiming that Zhao Xinwei frequently communicated with Japanese representative Yuu Uchida during the negotiations with Japan, received several gifts from Japanese parties, leaked some intelligence, and had experience of entering and leaving entertainment venues such as "Some World" with Japanese representatives.

There is a clear time and place for the things described in the material, and several photos are attached, which Zhao Xinwei cannot deny. Zhao Xinwei was stunned when he saw this material, because there were only two parties involved in some things mentioned in the material, one was him and the other was Yu Uchida. It is naturally impossible for him to disclose these situations himself. So who instructed to write this letter of complaint, and can he still use explanation?

Zhao Xin didn't care about greeting Yuu Uchida's whole family. He tried his best to explain the matter to his leader. He claimed that his relationship with Yuu Uchida was due to work needs, and even went to "Some World" to confuse the other party and had to sacrifice himself for justice. The conscience of heaven and earth, although he and the beautiful waiter were alone in the room for a whole night, they had been discussing the true meaning of life and had no illegal behavior.
