Chapter 77: The Legend of Saiyin Mountain

All of the guards under them were warriors with great strength. They went up one by one to try, but no one could pull the dagger out of the mountain. Later, five or six people went up together, but the dagger still remained motionless.

Genghis Khan jumped off the horse's back and thought to himself, could it be that Ben Khan had to do it himself? He held the hilt of the sword with both hands, and before he could use force, he felt a strange energy surge from the mountain. He unknowingly pulled out the short sword.

Genghis Khan was overjoyed and thought it was a sword given by heaven, so he treated it as a sword. With this sword, Genghis Khan was destined to heaven. Not long after, he unified the Mongolian tribes and led his troops to fight east and west to suppress them. He was invincible and defeated, achieving the eternal imperial career.

"Is your joke too exaggerated? What's wrong? That macaque is the reincarnation of Sun Wukong?" Wushuang said disdainfully.

"My master, you don't believe it yet. This is really a legend in our local area. Only the true dragon emperor can wear that short sword." Agudamu said it was like a real thing. Except for Ma Ya and Wushuang, the other brothers listened to it and said relish. Perhaps the Mongolians are all real and have no good intention to deceive.

"Where is the Huang Temple above? Don't tell me it's made of that stone monkey."

He said: "That's not. After Genghis Khan unified the Mongolian grasslands, he ordered people to build a yellow temple on the top of the mountain. It seems that he heard that the stone monkey statue is still enshrined in the temple."

"It's really nonsense. Huang Temple is worshipped by the Buddha? A stone monkey does not conform to the rules of religious belief at all. How can it be worshipped in Huang Temple? Where did you hear from?"

Agudamu said that if you don’t believe me, there is still a monk guarding this Huang Temple now. We will go later and ask the monk and you will know.

Saiyin Mountain is like a fairyland on earth. It is isolated from the world and rarely comes. Even the devout Mongolian herders in the local area rarely come to worship Buddha. It is not that they are undevoted. The Huang Temple on this mountain originally has a legendary story, and it was built by their great ancestor Genghis Khan, which is even more meaningful. However, the location of Saiyin Mountain is too remote. It was originally not geographically located on the Mongolian grasslands, but it is close to the Death Desert and close to the Darigan League. Therefore, in the past few hundred years, only a few devout believers have worshipped the stone monkeys in the Huang Temple on the top of the mountain.

This is probably the first time since the Huang Temple was built.

"My master, in a quiet place in Buddhism, are we tying our horses to the foot of the mountain?" Agudamu said piously.

Every Mongolian is a devout believer. When he meets Huangmiao, he must prostrate himself and bow three times and nine times. He will pray from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain.

"You can do whatever you want. This is the belief of your nation, and I don't want to interfere." Wushuang and Ma Ya did not dismount. The other brothers were all Mongolians. They knew the rules and tied the horses to the forest at the foot of the mountain, and then knelt into the shape of a fan in the horse gang.

Although Saiyin Mountain is not high, its geographical location is very special, with extremely low air pressure. The top of the mountain is always shrouded in clouds and mist. When you look up, you can see a white mist covering the Yellow Temple, and you can only see one outline. It has the artistic conception of Mahayana Buddhism.

At the end of the mountain path, a figure vaguely saw from above in the clouds and mist. The man was moving vigorously and walked down the path from the top of the mountain in a short while. He shook the prayer drum with one hand, and raised his hand with the other hand to put up a typical Buddhist slogan, chanting Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures with muttering.

"Amitabha! The little monk welcomes Kuixing to come!" A thick voice sounded.

Wushuang looked up and saw an old lama dozens of meters ahead. I thought this old lama was the old host who guarded the Huang Temple as Agudam. However, in the Huang Temple, he probably shouldn't be called a host.

We often see in TV series that the old monk calls himself an old monk and the young monk calls himself a young monk. This is actually a misunderstanding. The old and young here are relatively speaking, and the old refer to the old ones who recognize their seniority and qualifications. If the monk is in his forties and comes opposite him, the old man is a 60-year-old man who does good deeds and accumulates a hundred lifetimes of kindness and people, the monk must call himself a young monk.

This old lama looked at his age at least sixty or seventy, and actually called himself a little monk in front of Wushuang, which shows his respect for Wushuang.

"Amitabha, I dare not take it or not. I am just an ordinary person. I have lost my way with my companions in this prairie these days and mistakenly entered Baoshan to stay for a few days." Wushuang clasped his hands together. Although the other party recognized his identity, he could not admit it. Who dares to call himself Kuixing? Besides, maybe the old lama had received the news that Wushuang was coming, so he had to be careful.

"Haha... the little monk will not miss it. Last night, the little monk had a dream. He dreamed that the North Star suddenly brightened, and the head star of the star fell into the small temple." The old lama smiled slightly, his face full of redness. Huangmiao is a Tibetan Buddhist Xinyi. The lama is not as reserved as the monk in the Central Plains. Although his hair on his forehead is shaved, his temples and behind his head are long. This old lama is not young, but his hair is dark. This Saiyin Mountain is really a place to nourish people.

"Haha..." Wushuang smiled and did not directly answer his words. In Buddhism, Kuixing is a name for evil stars. What is evil stars? You have always heard of the word "Tiansha Guxing". Tiansha Guxing not only carries his wife, son, and parents, but also his cruel nature and bloodthirsty, which is the reincarnation of a demon. But then again, the description that follows is very appropriate to Wushuang. "How dare you ask the big lama what it is called?"

"The little monk's Dharma name is Zhugu."

"It turned out to be the ancient Khenpo. I wonder if many of us are bothering me?" Khenpo is the title of abbot in Tibetan Buddhism.

"Extreme honor! The little monk has prepared a simple meal and waited for a long time. If you don't dislike it, it would be fine if you want to stay for as long as you want. My little temple has never been there, especially your noble identity!" Unexpectedly, the ancient monk of Zhugong had good Chinese skills.

"Brother, come on." Ma Ya whispered to Wushuang and pulled him aside.

"I really want to hear about this ancient lama of the pearl. This man is quite big!"

"Oh? What do you say? He is not Chinese, where did you hear it?"
