Section 2 Kick the Camp

The so-called locked city joint camp is not a row of camp walls that are airtight, but uses various camps as fulcrum points to block horses, deer antlers, keep passenger piles, and keep hunting dogs to prevent people from crossing.

Crossing the moat and walking farther, it is the first line of defense of the Jin army. This line of defense is easier, because it is dark, and the other is not enough to be prepared. Thirty people found a gap, lined up in front and back, urging the horse to gallop. In a flash, the barrier was broken.

The horse's hooves ran, alarming the Jin army. The camp that was originally quiet quickly rose by a few campfires.

When the Jin soldiers on the night heard the sound and shouted loudly, they shouted everywhere: "The Southern Barbarians rushed to the camp!" Some shouted: "Report to the general, the bandit army wants to break through." Some shouted: "Play the horn to send a message, and call the Houtou camp to prepare for defense." While blowing the horn, they rushed to the back; while ringing the war drums, gathering the soldiers urgently.

The message to the back is to intercept the attack; the gathering of soldiers is to chase.

The army camps all have military rules. If an enemy camps are invaded, they will not act rashly unless they have military orders. What are they doing? They are afraid of chain reactions. For example, now, the Song army has only 30 cavalry to rush to the camp. If they react too much, they will only be distracted. Therefore, although things happened unexpectedly, the Jin army was not panicked.

Hu Yangeng sat on the horse and leaned forward slightly. As the horse's back bumped, his body rose and fell with the flow. He held the strong bow firmly with his left hand, controlled the reins, and hung it on the side of the horse; he put two arrows on his right hand, placed horizontally on his chest, one between his index finger and middle finger, and one between his ring finger and little finger. This is called a continuous bead arrow. He is not yet known as a master of this art, and at most he can only shoot two arrows in a row, especially outstanding ones who can shoot three or four arrows in a row.

The archer releases an arrow, releases one, and then puts another one. There is a time interruption, and if it will cause continuous arrows, the interruption will be greatly shortened. Don’t underestimate this interruption time. At critical moments, it is enough to save a life.

After rushing through the camp, less than two miles away, the second camp of the Jin army appeared in front of us. Although it was only a blink of an eye, with the sound of the camp in front of us, at least the rotating soldiers in the second camp were guarded.

The rainy arrows rushed towards the darkest night before dawn.

Hu Yangeng shouted loudly: "Shield!"

At about thirty years old, he raised his left arm. The cavalry's shield is not very big. He can be put on his arm and when he is speeding forward, he is blocked in front of his head, which is enough to cover the vital points. It is difficult to shoot the target in the movement, and it is naturally safer to have the shield protection. If he is shot like this, he can only blame his bad luck.

They had already penetrated the battalion for dozens of steps, and the first level of the camp had also broken through. Hu Yangeng shouted, "No matter what, just move forward." He put the arrow on the bow and shot it continuously. Three or four enemies who blocked the road ahead were shot and fell down.

Beside Hu Yangeng, in addition to Hu Yanhei, there are three "family generals". These three are named Qiu Muling Zhonglian, Bu Lu Gu Leping, and Pu Liu Ru Bosheng. They are friends who Hu Yangeng has been playing since childhood.

Qiu Muling, Bu Lugu, and Pu Liuru were all Guanlong generals that emerged from the Northern Wei Dynasty. When Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty changed his Han surname, he changed it to Mu, Lu, and Ru respectively. From the Liuzhen beacon, the Northern Zhou Dynasty destroyed Qi, Yang Guang destroyed Chen, and Li Tang raised troops until the Later Tang entered Liang, and there was no end to the service.

During the Later Tang Dynasty, all three families regarded Zhang Chengye as their adopted father and changed their surname to Zhang. During the Chenqiao Mutiny, these three families were also powerful people who privately discussed "The emperor is young now, and who knows the credit? It is better to support Zhao Dianjian..."

After Zhao Kuangyin was brought to the yellow robe, they wanted to change their surname to Zhao, but they were scolded by Zhao Guangyi with a saying "You are also worthy of Zhao". From then on, the three families changed their surnames back to the Xianbei family and helped each other with Yang, Zhe, Huyan, and others who were also generals of the aristocratic family.

The records in "The Great Records of the Years Since Tianyou" are that the three families changed their surname because "the Zhao family was inappropriate and refused to give their surname Zhao, and they were angry and changed their surname to their original surname."

There was a Song Dynasty, and the three families became more and more miserable. In the Hu Yangeng generation, Qiu Muling Zhonglian and three others could not even be a small envoy with Zu Yin, so they could only serve as friends Hu Yangeng's family generals to drink some soup in the regaining of Yan Yun. The so-called "one sword and one shot to win fame."

Wang Bing didn't give Hu Yangeng a lot, and these three people didn't have many opportunities to go into battle. However, the teachings of the generals of the aristocratic family were not vague. The weapons and equestrian skills were extraordinary, and they could drive two stone bows.

Puliu Ru Bosheng used Fang Tian Hua Ji to rush to the front of the team. This Fang Tian Hua Ji is actually a type of horse lance. The spear tip in the front is used to stab, and the halberd on the side is crescent-shaped, which can be chopped, barbed, and broken armor. Fang Tian Hua Ji was often used by brave generals before the Tang Dynasty, but after the Tang Dynasty, as the horse lance was gradually replaced by a simpler gun, Fang Tian Hua Ji gradually became silent. Puliu Ru Bosheng still used Fang Tian Hua Ji, which was his family martial arts.

A Jin soldier was running in front with a spear in his hand. Puliuru Bosheng slapped his horse and rushed out. Fang Tian Huaji stabbed out, and turned slightly. The gun stabbed out, carrying a ray of cold light. A bunch of blood was raised where the blade fell. Fang Tian Huaji was hooked and shoved out with horsepower, and the flesh and blood flew everywhere.

Qiu Muling Zhonglian was good at using flying claws and threw them out immediately. He grabbed one by one, but did not trap people. He threw them on the lower flagpole and the pillars supporting the barracks. After he was caught, he pulled them down with the help of the galloping horse. For a moment, the people shouted and neighed, and the flagpole and the pillars fell one after another, smashing mud and dust, making the Jin army camp smoky.

Bu Lu Gu Leping is the best at shooting arrows. He once shot nine-star beads during the shooting game of Liu Gambling. But now he has only shot four arrows in a row, with one arrow in his hand just in case.

The Eight Immortals crossed the sea and each showed their magical powers. While breathing, Hu Yangeng and others had already rushed to the center of the second level of camp.

Hu Yangeng felt secretly regretful. If he had known that the Jin army was so relaxed, he would have organized thousands of troops to rob the camp. Suddenly, his eyes turned dark. When everyone looked up, they were shocked!

There is an open space here, brightly lit, with about thousands of people marching in this open space. Jin soldiers are constantly coming here in various camps.

As expected, the Jin soldiers were good at fighting. When they encountered the thunder camp, they were not in chaos and gathered in the middle of the camp. If it was a robbery of the Song army tonight, they would bump into the Jin army brigade here and be caught in the urn in the Jin army camp.

Thousands of people blocked the way in front, and Jin soldiers chased them out behind.

Hu Yangeng was in a dilemma before and after, and he was unable to advance or retreat. Go forward and use thirty people to attack the enemy formation, and he will die. Backward, the Taiyuan city gate was blocked and he could no longer go back.

Yang Kefa gave the experienced Taoist, abandoned his bow and raised his gun, turned around and shouted, "I want to achieve great achievements, at this moment! Brothers, follow me." He rushed to the enemy formation quickly and rushed straight to the enemy formation. The Jin army divided several teams to block the attack. He had good riding skills, and he flexibly bypassed and rushed to the front of the formation. Instead of killing the enemy, he robbed a torch and threw it onto a baggage cart, shouting, "Set the fire first, then kill the thief!"
