Some things about recent plots

First of all, Lao Mo always believes that the best bridge for readers to communicate with the author is actually the novel text itself. The author conveys the content he wants to express to readers through his own words, and the readers understand the author's meaning through reading the text. This is the most ideal communication state, but the actual situation is that Lao Mo often has to come out and explain the plot himself.
Actually, I originally thought that after watching it for so long and so much, I have more or less understanding of Lao Mo's writing style and creative ideas, at least I won't draw conclusions in a hasty way. However, most of the time, this idea may be too taken for granted...
Back to the book, first of all, this plot is definitely not for the miserable, nor is it because Lao Mo Xian has nothing to do to satirize or suggest anything. I am not a critic, nor a politician. At most, I just play with memes. I believe that you would not think Lao Mo is a sad drama writer. I just say that there is a saying in China that you can see the whole leopard. This also represents our traditional way of observing society and the general environment. Hayes's experience along the way is actually the process of the entire human empire in 41 thousand years.
If you have any understanding of the plot before the Great Rift, you should know that gw's definition of 41 thousand years, especially the last hundred years, was the "end time". You can check it. During this period, most of the wars in the empire either failed or ended in a hurry, and most of the expeditions were deadlocked. The entire legion and war group were annihilated frequently occurred, just as Hayes encountered the sadness, sadness, pain, struggle, and failure along the way... the entire human empire was also facing continuous failures and setbacks at the end of the 41 thousand years.
It is easy for people to draw hasty conclusions because of what they see now. It is not just Hayes who thinks that "pills" are filled with the breath and view of "pills" from top to bottom. Hayes is just the humblest and ordinary member of the army of "pills". So Lao Mo portrays Hayes not to "sell misery" along the way, nor to infuse water. Instead, let everyone truly understand where the turmoil, despair and decay of the empire came from at the end of the 41 thousand years. After all, the empire is not an independent natural entity. Its essence is still a political and social entity composed of countless people like Hayes. They determined the rise and fall and atmosphere of the entire empire.
After experiencing so many hardships and witnessing so many hardships, what was his final decision? I think everyone has seen that he, who is already disabled, has carried his mother (Emperor) who has lost her husband (Emperor) and son (Primary) and has lost most of his ability to move and is invincible. This is why the stormy empire can survive this era. There are always righteous people standing on the earth, there are always righteous people walking on the way, and there are always the bravest people protecting it well. This is also my personal core understanding of the background of Warhammer 40K over the years.
On the contrary, if the writing is always focused on gods and demons, demigods and supermans, and the so-called "selected gods", you will get a glimpse of the opposite perspective of the whole leopard. We generally call it a glimpse of the leopard in the tube. It is like now that people travel to India, if they only go to Mumbai or Kolkata, you may have the illusion that India seems to be a very developed country. If the mortals in the book are all characters like Ma Bo, then does the so-called empire sinking look like a little joke in the story club?
Some readers also said, what is the effect and significance of writing this for the plot?
Lao Mo thought that reality could be ignorant of logic, but novels cannot be ignored. Whether it is the protagonist's behavior or the behavior of the people around the protagonist, it is impossible to have no reason. Even a virtual character, what he says and what he does must be in the sum of his relationship with the general background he lives in and interpersonal social relations, rather than saying that he is a space warrior and a god, so he thinks that it is like this.
As for the emotions of the protagonist and the heroine, as well as the birth of descendants, some readers are worried about the so-called big-headed topic. If you can combine the part of the Buddhist plot, the settings of the confusing people, and the personal settings of the gods of the spirit race, you must have a glimpse of the clues. Lao May is not a writer who is good at short and fast plots, but I think readers can believe Lao Mo's plot construction ability, just like Oak Tyrant may not be perfect, but at least he has created a vivid Guk, right?
Of course, I can also understand that many readers come for Astart, for the magnificent war, the treacherous magic and the demon gods, but Lao Mo can only say sorry, because I am a person who likes to write down what I think. In other words, if an author cannot even express his thoughts directly, then I think no matter whether it is a grade or any other gain, it will be meaningless.
As for some readers who think the plot is clichéd and not novel enough, I can only say sorry for Lao Mo. After all, I am not a platinum writer. Lao Mo has never claimed how good his writing is. The grades of this book are not so outstanding. I didn’t expect that everyone would have such high expectations for Lao Mo, but Lao Mo is indeed just an ordinary writer, not even a full-time writer...
Finally, there are some readers who do not agree with the views of the views. A very special thing about the Warhammer 40K background is that it has one or several enemies that can always be used for human beings to "pass the blame", so it is easy to become a situation where the problems of the human empire are attributed to an alien enemy or supernatural force, and then all problems are solved by being enemies with it. But in fact, the problem of the empire is the problem of the empire itself. There is no room for shirking responsibility and not facing them directly, instead of saying that they are all worse than bad anyway. It cannot be said that chaos or aliens are worse, and then the empire cannot mention it...
The most core problem is that as a European cultural enterprise born in the Cold War era, its country even retained a monarchy. This determines that 40K must have strong conservative and Christian color and other limitations. Although these limitations also shape the unique charm of 40K, in our Confucian cultural circle, socialist materialism, these limitations will also form some defects that we think are unreasonable and inappropriate. Therefore, for fan creation, it is the most difficult and most important thing to choose which part to keep and which part to transform or abandon. However, everyone thinks different standards, and what Lao Mo can present naturally cannot satisfy all readers.
