Chapter 985 Secret Mentor

According to the tradition of the inner ring, when a member of the inner ring makes a proposal, all members will vote secretly, and the candles in the conference hall will be extinguished and the room will fall into complete darkness.
Each participant has a white ball and a black ball, which represent votes for and against respectively. Everyone's voting rights are equal, even the Supreme Mentor is no exception.
The large table of the meeting was engraved with grooves, connecting to a container in the center of the conference table. In the dark, each member casts votes of favor and against with the white and black balls in his hands. The balls they cast will slide along the grooves on the table into the container in the middle. After the vote is completed, the candle will be re-lit, and a machine will take out the container in the center of the conference table and present it to the tall tutor. He will count the balls of different colors to determine the final result of the vote.
Soon, the candlelight in the hall went out one by one and fell into complete darkness.
All the members of the inner ring could not see each other, and none of them made obvious movements, only a subtle breathing sound, followed by the jingle of the sphere colliding with the grooves on the tabletop.
When the candlelight lit up again, the vote was already out.
There are 7 white balls and 5 black balls in total.
"Just settle that way."
Azriel didn't want to have any more trouble, so he immediately decided on the voting result.
“Connect the channel.”
After more dial rotations and button flicks, the static electricity flushed through the communicator before it subsided.
"Captain Soshyan, I am Azriel of the Dark Angel. We agree with your decision. The Dark Angel will be involved in joint wars. I will arrive at the ground to talk to you later."
Soon, the message returned was sent.
"I am extremely grateful, Azriel's Supreme Tutor, I am waiting for your arrival."
When the link is disconnected, more static interference comes.
Azriel's face turned stern and firm, and he looked straight into the eyes of every member of the inner ring.
"Go now, brothers, and prepare your company for battle."
This sentence declared the end of the battle group meeting, but after everyone left, some people quietly stayed and headed to another more secret space.
As mentioned before, a major feature of the inner ring is that there is a circle in the circle, and there is a secret behind the secret. (Don’t say that the Eleventh Legion is spicy, Suo Zhanshuai doesn’t have such leisure time to play the ultimate doll)
So it is very natural that even in the battle group meeting, there are more senior inner rings who know more secrets, and they are six secret mentors.
The secret tutor was summoned by Azriel himself, and all of them were summoned by Seph.
More than ten years ago, not long after Azriel became the Supreme Mentor, the long-disappeared Lord Seif suddenly surrendered in the battle of Talsis and was then transferred to the boulder.
Azriel believed that some knowledge about Sefe should not cause widespread discussion in the inner ring, so he summoned the other five most senior members of the inner ring, namely Ezekiel, the think tank master, Sappho, the interrogation minister, Asmodai, the Dead Wing master Belia, and Samuel, the Crow Wing master.
The six of them had a secret discussion about Seff's surrender. Azriel also revealed a secret to the other five mentors at the meeting. In the past ten thousand years, Seff had taken the initiative to visit the boulder seven times, and he successfully escaped each time. At the same time, he also revealed to the five mentors the real reason for the establishment of the inner ring.
Then, not long after the meeting, it was very shameful, because of a series of accidents (actually a long story, but GW did not tell which time it happened in the end of M41, so I moved to the battle of Pandora, if any big guy knew it could correct it), Seff once again escaped from the sight of the dark angel-
The venue for the six people to hold a meeting was called the secret room, and the six people also made a bloody oath here to keep the secrets discussed at the meeting. Afterwards, Sappho used the term secret mentor to refer to these six people.
And these six people, in a sense, are the real leadership core of the Dark Angels Chapter.
The secret room is small and the furnishings are simple, a huge, rough round stone seat, six huge stone chairs, and a candlestick in the center of the table, but the faint candlelight can only barely wrap the figure of the person sitting on the edge of the table, most of their outlines are trapped in shadow.
".....Seff once mentioned the name of Pai Shangxing during the interrogation. In that conversation, he mentioned that there seemed to be a huge secret from the old era hidden here, but he was never willing to explain what this secret was related to."
In the darkness, Asmode narrates the most confidential information in a rare calm tone.
"But we have not yet gained nothing."
The great minister of the pastor, Sappho sighed lightly.
"Is this another lie?"
"No, he must be here, Abaddon's existence is enough to prove all this!"
Asmodai's tone suddenly became louder.
"The Black Legion will never be here without a reason. We have already talked about this before we set out."
"You mean Sever leads the Black Legion here?"
Ezekiel's voice was full of doubt.
"This possibility is not ruled out!"
"So that's the case, why did he reveal this to us?"
Asmodai did not answer this question either.
Azriel sat motionlessly on the chair, as if it was a sculpture, but no one present would really think that it was a sculpture.
The Supreme Tutor is always thinking.
Suddenly, Belia spoke.
"Do you think the Grey Knights are very abnormal this time? We have worked with them several times in the past. These people have a fanatical desire to attack demons and heretics. They usually do it themselves without saying hello, but this time they are like bystanders and have almost no action."
"It's nothing on the surface."
Samuel's low voice was like a motorcycle's engine.
"The boulders once monitored that several small aircraft had left their warships quietly."
"That White Temple and the Knights of the Astral Realm are also very suspicious. I still can't understand why they came here from afar."
Asmodai expressed his opinion loudly as always.
"Suspicious! Very suspicious!"
Finally, Azriel spoke with unquestionable authority.
"I was also present when Seff said Pai Shangxing. He just said a few words, not much. The traitors have long been used to releasing all kinds of smoke bombs to attract our attention. We didn't know that we had suffered such a loss once, and even had a feud with other battle groups because of this."
"but--"
"The primary goal now is to defeat the Black Legion. As long as you defeat the enemy, you will be fine if you want to turn the whole world over. But if the battle is unfavorable, not only will we live up to our oath to the throne, but we will also cast a huge shame for the battle! We have enough shame. I don't want to add a big raider to let go of the traitors. I will let you go to the front line to inspire the warriors."
Sappho nodded, Asmodai struggled for a while, but finally did not object.
Azriel breathed a sigh of relief and waved his hand gently.
"Then let it go."
Chapter completed!
