Chapter 18 Weekend Dinner

On the first weekend, the students packed up some things and couldn't wait to leave the police academy. This was their first weekend off. The training week made them extremely tired, but Joey actually didn't want to have a vacation. He finally trained them to get up early for a week, but now he didn't know what he would be like after he got home. Anyway, he suffered on Monday.

He shook his head, looked at his dusty pickup truck, and did not go to wipe the car, but got on the car and wiped the dust off the windshield with a wiper. Then he started and left, found a place to clean the car, and then called Matt Murdoch and Virgin Nelson.

Joey is unable to go home for the weekend party of three singles, so he can only hang out with them and talk about the situation of each other for a week.

The three of them rode Joey's pickup and found a restaurant for dinner. "Joey, how about you at the police academy?" asked Virgin Nelson.

Joey put the chopped steak into his mouth, chewed it a few times before saying, "Oh no, the instructor kept praising me on the first day, so I became the class monitor, and then I became a nanny in the face of a group of kids who had just walked out of high school or college."

"It's not uncommon for me to be the class monitor. You were a sensible figure in college, and you had a very good reputation. How could you handle those students?" Virgin Nelson asked curiously.

"In the past, I was waving dollars, and a bunch of guys followed me to eat, drink and have fun, and I was just trying to pick up girls. Can it be the same now?" Joey curled his lips. "I think the police academy is also a workplace, and there is a competitive relationship in itself. At the same time, I have no obligation to help them. They are all people with driver's licenses. Could it be that I tell them what is right and what is wrong?"

"Oh, that's the same." Virgin Nelson nodded and agreed.

But Matt Murdoch had a different opinion, "Joey, the police are a discipline team after all, and their career requires higher teamwork than other industries, which is a good thing for you."

"I have thought so, but you don't know how angry those guys are. Every day, they are all kinds of awkward and make people feel tooth aches." Joey viciously put a piece of steak into his mouth and chewed it in big mouths. The steak seemed to be his classmates.

"What about your instructor?" Virgin Nelson asked again.

"The instructor has thrown everything to me except teaching." Joey was a little helpless.

"He is nurturing you." Matt Murdoch was blinded.

"I know, but I don't understand what he is cultivating me? Do you think so? It's a pity that he's too far away from me." Joey didn't think about it, but it takes a long time to become a sheriff. The promotion of the police force does not mean that you can solve two cases. First, you will start with the patrol officer, not to mention that the formal internship period takes one year.

"I don't think it's right. It doesn't seem like it will take too long for you to get promoted." Virgin Nelson seemed to have thought of something, "How could you be like an ordinary person as a rich second-generation policeman?"

"Hmm?" Joey was stunned, "You mean, will my dad intervene?"

"Maybe I won't?"

Joey put down the knife and fork, then put his hands on his chest, touched his smooth chin with his right hand, and kept thinking. Roll Franklin's personality analysis was formed in his mind. This is the original owner's memory. This father can be said to be a typical Gu family man. He still never remarried after his mother passed away for many years. Although there are also women outside, he will not create a younger brother and sister for himself.

Now that he is a policeman, his opposition is obvious. He directly swept himself out of the house, but unlike what he imagined, he handled it too calmly. It is very simple, just drive out the house and restrict the economy. When he first left home, he thought that his father did this just to force himself to go back on his own initiative. But if he thinks carefully, does his father have only such a few methods?

No, if he really doesn't want to be a policeman, then just say hello to the municipal and personnel department. In the capital society, the United States should not be too simple.

But now? I haven't encountered obstacles, which is a bit incredible. Does he agree with being a policeman? No, he doesn't agree, but what do he want to see? Is his own changes?

"What's wrong with Joey?" Virgin Nelson interrupted Joey's thoughts.

"It's nothing. I just want to think about whether my dad will intervene. But it's too early to think about it now. After all, I've only been admitted to school for a week."

Matt Murdoch said on the side: "It's getting late, your instructor should think of more things. After all, there are many things that need to be investigated as a policeman, especially identity and background will be an important reference condition. Then your instructor will think of a lot when seeing your information. Of course, this is my speculation."

"What do you care about him? Take your time. Now my biggest headache is Monday morning. How can I pull those guys out of the bed and let them stand attentively." Joey thought of Monday's problem with headache.

For a weekend dinner, Joey and Matt Murdoch also talked about their internships in the law firm. They have just entered the law firm and are now familiar with some past information, and then they will work with those formal lawyers to handle legal affairs that the law firm follows up.

The two of them are both rookies now, so everyone is working hard now and hopes to make a difference in the industry they like in the future.

After the dinner, the three of them returned to Hell's Kitchen together, and then went to the nearby bar to have fun, beer and billiards, and the three singles enjoyed themselves and got along well.

Luo Yu returned to the police academy on Sunday night. Seeing the students returning to the police academy one after another, he reminded them one by one room to rest early and to get up early tomorrow.

The result is conceivable. On Monday morning, there were "dongdongdongdong..." knocking on the door on the entire floor. This time, Luo Yu pulled his roommate James Brown together and asked him to knock on the door.

"Come, you lazy guys, have reminded you not to listen, and get up immediately now." Joey roared angrily. He felt that the weekly life at the police academy had reduced his life by at least three years!

Finally, Joey asked James Brown to bring a basin directly, and then splashed water one by one with the teeth tank. As long as they did not lock the door, all of them became Joey's targets of attack.

The corridor was messy, just like Joey was in a mood. He didn't want to learn any problems with his management subordinates. He was too tired.
