This book is on the shelves today. The update in the morning is moved until after 12 noon. The third update will be released in one go. If nothing unexpected happens, we will continue to update it in the evening.
I have never written a comment on the listing, so I don’t know what to say. I think the “feeling” here should have two meanings, one is thanks and the other is insight.
What makes me feel the most "sense" about this book is everyone's support, including my editors and those who read the book. While supporting it in the background, support it in the front desk, use every recommendation, every collection, every vote promotion, every click, every reward, and jointly support this book to grow vigorously.
Thank you everyone!
About two or three years ago, I once said that I would never write about Shushan Fans again. It’s not that I’m tired of writing, but that I feel that Shushan Fans have published so many of them and have written all the things I can write, and I can’t write better than the ones I wrote before.
There are four routes for Shushan Fanren, namely the right path, the Buddhist route, the side route, and the magic route.
The right path includes the right path of Emei and other right paths. The right path of Emei is divided into those who compete for Taoism with the original protagonist and finally set up Beppu on the periphery. Other right paths include those who enter Qingcheng, Wudang, Kunlun and other sects, as well as those who have achieved self-cultivation.
The Buddhist route is difficult to write. Either the ones written are not like Buddhist disciples, or the ones written are annoying to everyone. The ones that can be written like Buddhist disciples but not annoying to readers are the niche among the niches...
The routes of the side are quite general, some are engaged in polar battles, some are engaged in sects to manage farming, and some are united in Emei... In summary, there are still two main ones, one is more righteous and the other is more evil.
The route of the Demon Sect was something I had always despised, because in Ji Wuming's words, the devils in Shushan said, "I have seen many demon-cultivating demons, but they are famous and magic powers are just that." They brag about them all, but they are actually all the leeks that give experience to the younger generations of Emei.
Judging from the usual style of behavior, all the devils are not good at being human. After all, it is difficult to pick out one person. Two people choose one and then ask. There are basically no unjust, false and wrong cases, and many of them are enough to be shot for two hours.
Based on this point, I used to think that the Demon Sect had nothing to write about. Until later, when I was reading the Daozang, I found many lectures about the Five Demons and Six Heavens from the Spirit Treasure Sutra, and combined them with the definition of Demon in Buddhism. Suddenly I found that Demon is not an ugly creature in our impression, which only kills and harms people, disgusting and perverts, and has no brains. There are many other definitions about Demons, which can be completely ascended to the level of the Dao. So with the Demon Way, there are Taos, and there are doors, and this Demon Sect is authentic.
The original meaning of demon is grinding, which means the difficulty of demons on the road of cultivation, and the meaning of trial. Emperor Wu of Liang changed the stone into a ghost, and they all became evil ghosts and monsters.
The original meaning of Tao is the path, there is the path of immortality, the path of Buddha, the path of demon, and the path of devil. The three paths are all human beings. Therefore, no matter whether it is an immortal, a Buddha or a demon, you must have human nature. People cultivate immortality, practice Buddha, and practice demons. If you lose your human nature, you will go down. The lightest ones will degenerate into mortals, and the heavy ones will fall into animals, with only desires, only knowing how to kill, and inhumane animals.
The protagonist of this book is to follow the devil, always retain human nature, and not fall into a beast.
He practiced magic skills and had great magic power, but his personality was still amplified by human nature. For example, he lacked love since childhood and longed for family affection. He hoped that the whole family would live together forever and never be separated again. Human nature was magnified from this place to become a demon that hindered the path of liberation of people. For example, he had no sense of security and hoped that he could control the situation by himself and then master others. Human nature was magnified from this place to become a demon that dominated the fate of others.
In my opinion, immortality, Buddha nature, and demon nature are all magnifications of certain aspects of human nature, such as compassion. Everyone has a compassionate and weak mind. If they are magnified to great compassion without fate and great compassion for the same body, they become Buddha nature. For example, if you like to be free and do not rely on others, you can solve all problems by yourself and end up magnifying to the end, you are immortal nature. And controlling desires, peeking at the selfish desires, and appreciation desires, without restraint, and magnifying to a certain extent is demon nature.
From this perspective, when writing about immortals, Buddhas, and demons, they are actually writing about humans, and they are still people on the three paths. Those who really reach the end no longer need to write, and they can’t write because they will no longer have stories.
There are many characters written in the original work, some of which are full and vivid, even sighing, and many tend to be flattened or even symbolic. The main purpose of my writing is to process and paint the people I care about on the basis of trying to fit the original work as much as possible, so that they are all vivid and three-dimensional, flesh and blood, character and soul, and lively. Of course, the limitation of writing skills may not necessarily achieve the expected goal, but I aim to this and work towards this goal.
Therefore, everyone in this book has personality defects to a greater or lesser extent, deep or shallower.
For example, Yuwa is kind to her disciples, and is righteous and profitable, but she is arrogant and arrogant. For example, Lin You and Qian Kang are both cautious and cautious, while Qian Kang is softer and knows how to give in, while Lin You attaches more importance to face. For example, Chen Ziqin, who has written before and Zhou Meng, who is about to write about, are none of them perfect people. The true perfect people are people who have come to an end.
Why did I write Zhang Sanfeng that there will be only three people in the Taoist sect ascend? Because only those who reach the end of the three paths can ascend, be qualified to ascend, and must ascend. Others, whether they practice Buddhism, demons, immortals or fairies, still have to hang out in this world, plot against each other, fight against each other, and even devour each other.
There are many ideas under this main axis, such as the comparison between Buddha and demon.
In the minds of most people, Buddha and demons are opposites. Buddha is dedicated to subdue demons. It is Buddha but not demons, and it is demons but not Buddhas. However, in the real situation, this is not the case. People who practice Buddha also have demon nature, and people who practice demons also have Buddha nature. Buddha said that all sentient beings have Buddha nature, and demon said that all sentient beings have demon nature.
The protagonist is a demon-cultivating, but sometimes he can show a certain Buddha nature, and those who practice Buddhism often show a considerable demon nature. The original name of this book is the Record of Demon-Care Record, and it is a series with the other two records. At present, the two have only dug holes, and only this one has been posted. Because it happened in the Shushan world, it still calls the current name.
I plan to write according to the routine of Dream of Red Mansions. When a devil becomes a Buddha, the Buddha will be a devil, and when a Buddha becomes a devil, the devil will be a devil.
Speaking of specific writing methods, I read too many traditional books and tend to be too traditional in writing.
Traditional literature is usually more implicit, and rarely describes the psychological situation of characters. At most, through a few narrations, readers can guess and appreciate the rest. For example, the subtle relationship between Song Jiang and Chao Gai, the ideas of major factions in Liangshan, the style of Xue Baochai and Lin Daiyu in dealing with people and things, etc., you must put yourself in your shoes to understand, but once you figure it out, you will feel the pleasure of tasting it back or digging easter eggs.
This is my original style. I almost never, or rarely write about the psychological changes of the protagonist, and I point it out in most places with foreshadowing. For example, the protagonist's feelings for Xu Wan, from gratitude to awe, to fear and hatred, I did not write it out clearly, but in fact, it is easy to understand as long as I put myself in my shoes.
Later I also figured it out that reading books online is different from reading paper books. Many people define online literature from their hearts as fast food literature and street stall literature. Some are more extreme and even the word literature cannot be banned, otherwise it will defile literature. Most people read online literature just for the sake of entertainment, and they just scan it with a glance.
I wrote about the protagonist who lived in a certain situation for two years. The word "two years" flashed in everyone's mind, just like a few days or even a few seconds. It would not form the awareness of living a long life in my mind, nor would there be the idea of living what kind of life I have been living in the past two years, so it is difficult to have emotional links and basically cannot be brought in.
For example, many readers ask why the protagonist's temperament changed drastically after practicing on Longye Island, and nothing happened there, it was just practicing martial arts. What I actually wrote is that the protagonist stayed there for thirty-six years, was in illusions every day, and was regarded as an illusion in the real world, running around and fleeing in many worlds, getting married and having children in many worlds, destroying corpses and traces in many worlds... In this way, after thirty-six years, there will definitely be great changes in his mind and nature.
Many editors and authors have told me about my problem, saying that I used the writing technique from hundreds of years ago, and the lack of substitution is the biggest problem. It looks like a diary, and I agree with it deeply. However, the habit I developed over the years has fallen out of the way again as I write, so I put the reader's post on the top, reminding myself at all times to correct the writing style.
After all, what I want to write is the Shushan world that everyone yearns for, and I look forward to entering that world, cultivating immortals, cultivating Buddhas, cultivating demons, being free and free...
I have written so much before I knew it. Finally, I hope everyone will be happy every day, less restrained, more comfortable, and support genuine reading\\(^o^)/.
