Chapter 16 Mysterious Island (9)
Hearing the savage's words, Ella plucked up her courage, stood up and rushed towards Amy. The swaying violently. Halfway through, she still fell into the water, but the water in the lake was indeed as the savage said, only covering her shoulders. She floated in the water for a while and finally managed to grab the rope. The savage pulled her hard from behind and pulled her to the shore.
The vibration continued, and more and more stone pillars fell from the top of the mountain, and the entire cave was in danger. The savage was fascinated by his eyes and stumbled and could not find the way. Dust rushed over and grabbed the end of the rope, shouting at the savage: "Brother, I'm leading the way in front, you grab the rope and follow me!"
The group supported each other and ran out of the cave. The sky and the earth suddenly became clear. The peaks were still the same mountain, and the woods were still the same woods. Only the birds hovering in the sky were swooping down without exception.
"What's going on with these birds?" Amy asked. "They're all drunk? Why are they falling down?"
"It's not the birds falling down, it's us rising! The entire island is rising!" Dust turned his head and shouted at the savage who pulled it out, "What's going on? Did you just say that this island is a giant beast summoned by that master? So is it hungry and wants to eat, or is it feeling uncomfortable and wants to get diarrhea?"
“Most of the time, McGranica is very honest.”
The savage stretched out his hands to grop in front of him, and staggered, almost tripping by the stones on the ground. Dust couldn't see it, so he put the water bottle on his hand and explained: "Wash your eyes with this, and you can see clearly before you can speak!"
Gravel rolled down from the top of the mountain, and the entire mountain range behind Ella was shaking under the power of the earth, and it seemed that landslides could occur at any time. The forest in front blocked the view, making Ella unable to see clearly what was happening on the island.
"It's not the time to rest, please help him run!" Ella ordered the two pirates who ran out, "Let's go to the open place first!"
The woods were rolling over, the mountains were shaking in the trembling, and the screams of animals were terrified. Everyone knew in their hearts that this land was undergoing a drastic change. They were as unsure of the reason for the matter, but their wild instincts drove them to leave the place quickly.
Ella and others stumbled down the mountain road and finally arrived at a wide area where they saw the coast they had landed.
The flying SELAND is extremely huge. Even if you are here, you can see its huge hull. The relative position of the coast once again clearly tells them the fact that "the island is rising" - it is descending with the sea water, gradually moving away from the beach and away from Ella's vision. Not long after, it seemed to have touched the mudflat at the bottom of the sea and stopped falling. In the blink of an eye, the mudflat where the anchor was rooted in the sea "bang" and floated out of the sea.
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, Ella wouldn't have believed that this huge island floating on the sea was just a small part of the body of the giant beast called McGranica by the savages.
The mudflats that were sunk under the water rose with the islands, and lifted up Ella's fleet again. The sea water that had originally accumulated above the mudflats seemed to have been drained and turned into countless huge waterfalls, flowing downwards in a "swinging" manner.
"It's because you just pulled out Master Quelakiree's staff!" The savage finally cleaned his eyes and said gasping, "My power alone cannot control this kind of beast. It can wander quietly on the sea because of the staff left by Master Quelakiree. Once the staff is pulled out, it will lose control!"
"My God!" Dust shouted with his head in his arms, "You don't have anyone to take care of such important things?"
"Why isn't everyone watching?" The savage was angry at Dust's words. "Didn't you hear that gloomy voice before you entered the cave? It was Pulgarturio, the demon who came to me! Isn't his blocking tenacious? Didn't you break in with a tough stubbornness!"
"We have never seen Pulgartorio!"
"I understand, no wonder my head kept getting hot in front of the cave." Ella held her forehead, "I'm afraid this magic belongs to the Semites system, and I have eliminated it!"
While speaking, a shocking sound suddenly came from the sea, and its momentum was far beyond thunder. I saw that at sea level about a mile from the coast, a giant tortoise's head poked out from the bottom of the sea.
"It's actually a turtle!" the two pirates exclaimed, "We are actually anchored on the back of a turtle!"
"This is the whole picture of the summoned beast McGranica." said the savage. "Such a behemoth is a great beast that can only be driven by great men like Master Quilakiri!"
The shaking of the earth stopped. After half of his body surfaced, the turtle stopped rising. Ella and others felt a huge force pushing them forward, and then a strong wind came towards them - the huge turtle was parading rapidly on the sea. Although he was huge, his speed seemed to be still above the "flying Zelan".
When things have developed to this point, anyone would want to find out who the sacred Master Quilakir is, but Ella asked another question:
"You said it is out of control now, right?" Ella looked at the savage seriously. "What will happen next? It will not sink directly into the sea after it is tired of swimming, right?"
While asking this, Ella's mind was also turning rapidly - since it took so much time for the turtle to rise to its current height, it can be calculated at this time when it descends. They need to be on standby on the flying celestials at all times. When the turtle sinks, they must seize the short time when the ship touches the sea surface and set sail in time.
But the savage shook his head.
"Meglanica likes sunshine and will not choose to sink into the sea. After breaking away from Master Quilakiri's control, it will go south until it integrates with its hometown."
"Its hometown?" Ella remembered the content of the map inserted in the staff, "Are you referring to 'Terra Australias ignotga'?"
The savage nodded admiringly: "It's there. I have only heard this term from Master Quilakiri for decades. You are the second one. Master Quilakiri said that you have extraordinary knowledge, and it turns out to be so."
