Chapter 584 Protestantism
On December 3, a group of mysterious travelers came to a village next to a temple territory in Kiimeikusa County. Except for the leader who tied his hair, the others were dressed in monks.
They did not come empty-handed, but brought a lot of food. This was a timely help for the people of Kii who delayed the entire autumn harvest and were expropriated. The people in the village rushed to the group of travelers and lined up to collect the food they distributed. After discovering that most of them were dressed up by monks, a believer named Jin Taro in the village couldn't help but ask: Are all masters from Shishan? I have never seen you in the temple in the village before.
The monk came from the Ming Dynasty in the Western Land. The answer to Kim Taro was the only monk in the crowd who had not shaved his hair, Amitabha, good, good, good.
Are you a master of the Celestial Empire? In the eyes of the people of this era, the Ming Dynasty and the mysterious continent seemed to be places where gods could live. When they heard these words, a feeling of longing and envy arose. So why do you come to us to give us food?
Gods and Buddhas will not sit and watch any believer suffer. The leading monk has an unfathomable expression and answered in unpredictable words, "We happened to pass by and help you, and it is also a destined fate. Amitabha, good, good, good.
Thank you, Master, I thank you for your family on behalf of the whole family. Kim Taro took the food from the leading monk and knelt down to kowtow to the monk, but was stopped by the monk.
Alas, since you are a believer, how can you break the precepts? Seeing this, the monk shook his head and looked at Jin Taro dissatisfiedly. In front of the gods and Buddhas, all living beings are equal. This worship can only be worshipped to the Buddha, but how can I kneel down to the monk? How can I bear such a traitor? When the Buddha knows it, he will definitely punish you and me!
Ah? Does the Buddha have such rules? After hearing the monk's words, many people who wanted to leave after receiving the food stopped and surrounded the monk. Master will tell us again, otherwise what should I do if I annoy the Buddha?
The monks here point to the temple on the hillside of the village. Haven’t you told you?
When the common people heard this, they shook their heads and muttered something in a low voice.
Amitabha, sins. The monk immediately looked very repentant when he heard this, lowered his head and pulled his rosary, as if he was repenting for the monks in Honwan Temple. Then he whispered again, what did they say to you?
The common people were stunned for a while when they heard this, and with the encouragement of the monk's eyes, they spoke in a long and spoke.
Faith is the cause of repaying kindness by name.
Even if a person does too much evil in his life, he can still be reborn in the Pure Land!
You don’t have to shave your hair and eat vegetarian food, eat meat, drink, marry a wife and have children, and you can practice!
As long as you respond to the call of the masters, contribute money and efforts to the Dharma Master and the Master, and die for the Dharma Master, you can still be reborn in the Pure Land even if you have full evil!
right!
Yes, just die for the Lord of Dharma and the Lord of the House! They will tell the Buddha about us and save us!
Yes, thanks to the masters! I don’t want to live this hard life in the next life!
However, as these ordinary people talked, they found that the monk's expression became dimmer and dimmed, and in the end they even looked a little angry. The rosary in his hands was moved faster and faster by him, and he muttered something, as if he was repenting.
As a result, the people's discussion became less and less, and finally gradually became quieter. After reading his confession, the monk actually angrily threw the rosary to the ground, scattering into the ground, which scared the people.
It’s unreasonable, it’s unreasonable, Amitabha, Amitabha. The monk muttered like a wheel again for a long time, then turned around and scolded in a deep voice, these people were simply scum of Buddhism, who deceived the people from above, and fell into the eighteen levels of hell after death, and would never be reborn forever!
Seeing the monks so angry, the people looked at each other for a moment. They often heard similar condemnations from the lords. However, they never believed that the monks in the Benyuan Temple were bad people, and they respected these monks. Any wedding and funeral in the village would be invited to chant scriptures. Those lords who were full of evil knew that oppressing the people was to snatch the land of the temple and the rent and taxes of the people to smear the Pure Land Zhenzong. Only by believing in the Pure Land Zhenzong can one have a good life in the next life.
However, the monk from the Ming Dynasty in front of him was different. He was also a monk, so why was he so angry? Could it be that there was something hidden?
Master, but what is wrong with the master here? Kim Taro carefully interrupted while the monk was breathing.
It's not just wrong, it's a big mistake. The monk took a few deep breaths and whispered in a deep hatred that the Pure Land True Sect originated from the Tang Dynasty, and this monk is also a believer of the Pure Land True Sect. But he knew that the doctrine of the Pure Land True Sect had been corrupted to this point in this eastern land. If you dare to tamper with the doctrine like this, the scum of the Benyuan Temple will never be reborn, and the gods and Buddhas will punish the heavens! Amitabha Buddha, sins.
Ah? The people were shocked when they heard this and could not speak for a long time. After a while, the discussion gradually rang in the crowd, and some people began to yell for the monks to explain clearly.
You all listened! The monk seemed to be very dissatisfied with the noise of the crowd, raised the volume and shouted loudly, immediately calming the crowd. After the crowd calmed down again, the monk also spoke again: There is only one doctrine of the True Sect of Pure Land, you can remember it-
The monk dragged his tone and raised everyone's appetite with satisfaction, and then said loudly:
Justified by faith!
·
Master, what does this mean? Kim Taro obviously didn't understand this brand new word and asked in surprise.
It is you believers, regardless of men, women, age, good and evil, merit, or personal practice, or donate money to Benguan Temple in response to the call of the Master of the Dharma to fight for Benguan Temple. All of you—the monk—stopped, gestured a big circle with your hands, and circled everyone in it. You can rely on faith to go directly to the Pure Land! As long as you believe in Buddhism in your heart, you can be saved by God and Buddha!
The monk's remarks caused an uproar in the crowd, and everyone was surprised. They whispered to each other, looking at the monk from the Ming Dynasty in disbelief, as if they didn't believe what they heard was true.
Then don’t have to donate money to the owner in the future?
Need not.
Don't you have to give the land to the temple?
Need not.
In the future, the main purpose of the Ikki-kyu campaign is to launch, so we don’t have to go there anymore?
No, no. The monk waved his hand and shouted to the crowd, as long as you believe in Buddhism in your heart, the Buddha will understand your intentions and will save you to the Pure Land! This is the teaching of my Pure Land True Sect!
But we do nothing for the gods and Buddhas. Why do gods and Buddhas save us? Jin Taro still finds it hard to believe the good things that come to the door - can they really go to the Pure Land of the next life without doing anything?
Gods and Buddhas have long seen through the world and cut off their relationship. What money, earth, is meaningless in his eyes, and conquest and killing are strictly prohibited by the Buddha. How could you ask you to respond to Ikki? The monk said loudly, if this is the case, wouldn’t the Buddha be like those vulgar samurai? Do you think the Buddha would be such a person?
As soon as Yu Qiuping said this, these Buddhist people shook their heads repeatedly - how could gods and Buddhas be the same as those warrior lords?
But if there were no masters and masters telling Gods and Buddhas about our affairs on our behalf, how did Gods and Buddhas know that we believe in Buddhism? Another middle-aged farmer asked, "We must do something to let Gods and Buddhas know."
No, no. The Buddha can do everything and know everything. He knows five hundred years ago, and then five hundred years later. The Buddha knows anything in this world. Not to mention what happened, even if it is any small thought in your heart, the Buddha will understand it. How could such a Buddha with great powers need the monks of Benyuan Temple to report to know whether you believe in Buddhism or not?
The monk's words aroused the contemplation of the people. After a long time of silence, we finally realized that the monk was right. Gods and Buddhas were omnipotent, so how could they need others to inform them? Everyone looked at me and I saw you, and they had a question in their hearts, but no one dared to ask. After a long time, Kim Taro finally couldn't help it and asked in a low voice:
Then why do our masters and the arch masters cheat us? Are the arch masters not good people either?
As soon as this statement was spoken, it immediately attracted everyone to scold him. However, although everyone scolded him, they were thinking about the same problem and turned their attention to Yu Qiuping, hoping that he could give an explanation.
The Dharma Lord is naturally a good person, and many monks are also good people. Without their missionary, all living beings would not know the existence of the Buddha, and they would not know that they could be reborn in the Pure Land if they believe in Buddhism. The monks shook their heads and changed their minds, but some monks were confused by demons and ghosts and betrayed the Buddha. It was their greed of profit and money that encouraged you to donate money and land and follow them to fight! You do these things that violate the teachings of the Pure Land True Sect and will be punished by gods and Buddhas!
If you want to be reborn in the Pure Land, stop doing all these things. Believe in gods and Buddhas who are powerful and omniscient! As long as you believe in Buddha in your heart, gods and Buddhas will save you! Anyone who asks you to do things in the name of gods and Buddhas is a scum of Buddhism and is a person who uses Buddhas to make profits! Because the true gods and Buddhas are compassionate and only want to save you, they will not ask you to do anything!
·
A crowd of dumb chickens stood at the entrance of the village, and the monk led his followers away from the village and went to the next place on the itinerary.
Have you learned it? That's it! The monk took out a handful of rosary from his arms again and said to his followers, "I can't take you to all the villages." You just follow me for two or three days, and then you will take action on your own!"
Yes, His Highness, the ninjas who were dressed up as monks, all responded, and secretly admired the leader's eloquence.
At this moment, the people at the entrance of the village woke up as if they were dreaming. The most active Kim Taro just now ran over, and there were several other people following him. Only these ninjas knew that Kim Taro was actually a disguised ninja, who was arranged to be in the crowd, and he would take the conversation and mobilize the crowd's emotions.
This master, I dare to ask you for your honorable name! Jin Taro ran to the monk and asked him excitedly. Several uninformed people behind him surrounded him from the bottom of their hearts and asked the monk to leave his name.
Macho Lude.
