247 The right medicine

On December 1, the 2007 Big 12 Championship officially sounded the horn at the Alamo Dome Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

The two sides are the defending champion University of Oklahoma and the annual dark horse Kansas State University. This game is definitely a big deal: the number one in the United States and the sixth in the United States. The strong showdown is worthy of comparable value to the four major bowls, and it is even better.

There are also stories that have to be told on the coaching seat. Before the game started, Stups made a special trip across the stadium to the Wildcats coaching seat, shook hands and hugged Latimer, and chatted and laughed and felt their deep friendship, and it did not change due to time and camp.

Out of politeness, Stups also shook hands with Pres and Lu Yiqi, said politely, "Looking for a wonderful showdown", and then turned around and left.

Stups did not treat Lu Yiqi differently.

In recent times, there have been countless rumors in the Big Twelve League. Lu Yiqi is the absolute core focus. The scattered statement makes people unable to distinguish. Stups has also heard of it, but he didn't care too much, because he knew that rumors are always exaggerated, and even more because he upholds a coaching philosophy:

"The coach's job is to guide and help players exert their own energy, but the coach has no way to be born."

In short, strength is the bottom line.

He did not think Lu Yiqi had three heads and six arms, nor did he think that the transformation from Kansas State University was due to Lu Yiqi's credit.

In Stups' view, the reason why the Wildcats were able to complete their transformation this season was first of all because Pres laid the foundation last year, followed by Robert's rapid growth under the direction of Latimer, and most importantly, the Wildcats players' state and strength reached a mature stage.

Lu Yiqi appeared in the position of "interim head coach" in the right way at the right time, and with the whole magical experience with a halo, everything seemed incredible - of course, did Lu Yiqi make a contribution? This is undeniable, but it is not as exaggerated as the rumors.

Stups respects Kansas State University and the entire coaching team led by Pres, but he will not look at Lu Yiqi in particular.

He firmly believes that the University of Oklahoma is stronger than its opponents' talents and abilities, and will not be afraid of any opponents in the competition and confrontation of absolute strength. Kansas State University's fancy tactics can cause harassment, but cannot really cause trouble. Victory must belong to the Earlier Team!

However, after the game began, things did not follow Stups' pre-match arrangement track, and the Earser team, which was the first to attack, was blocked.

The Earls, who guessed the coin at the beginning, chose to take the lead in attacking, showing strong confidence on the offensive end.

The combination of Bradford and Murray can indeed easily crush the opponents of the large army in the university arena, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a sweeping away thousands of troops.

But the Wildcats are not among the "most opponents".

After the attacking group of the Earsers, Bradford could feel the huge pressure of passing. The heavy frontcourt pressure made him fall into trouble again and again. After barely getting a first attack through Murray's ground running ball and Bradford's quick short pass, they were struck out.

With just two minutes and twenty-two seconds on the field, the first wave of the Zoomers returned in vain.

Although Kansas State University is not a casual opponent and the regular season wins were all achieved through the opponent one by one, the actual situation was still beyond expectations. The attack of the Pilots was like entering the trap of the Wildcats, and every move was expected by the opponent. This feeling of restraint made Bradford's offense not have time to perform and was struck out and sent to the court.

Stups was a little confused, and an idea came to his mind: Could it be that the Wildcats defense team really made targeted tactical arrangements and grabbed their lifeline?

But as soon as the idea was sprouting, Stupus cut off his mind and determined that he was just thinking about it.

In just two minutes and twenty-two seconds, there were five attacks in the front and back. There were not many reference data. The tactical strategies of the Wildcats' defensive team were just the tip of the iceberg. The offensive team of the Earls was also warming up and entering the state. Now they made a hasty judgment, and it was a judgment that scared themselves. It was really unnecessary.

What's more, Stups really understands Latimer's defensive tactical style, solid, stable and balanced. Although the upper limit is not high, the lower limit is not low. The biggest advantage is that it is easy to get into the state at the beginning. Perhaps, this is the best explanation of the first wave of offense and defense results.

"Don't be disturbed by those stormful thoughts." Stupus warned himself, gather his thoughts and reopened to the competition.

He still did not have the ability to face Lu Yiqi - in the words of Lu Yiqi's not long ago, it was: he was not prepared for the investigation.

Soon, Stups paid for his wrong judgment.

After the Wildcats' defense successfully forced the first wave of offensive strikeouts in the offensive group of the Earsers, the second-ranked offensive group in the Big 12th League officially debuted.

In terms of rankings alone, the Wildcats ranks second in the offensive group and the Grabs ranks fourth in the offensive group. However, considering that the NCAA team's strength is seriously unbalanced, these rankings are only of rough reference significance, and the actual data may not be accurate.

However, it is certain that the strength of the Wildcats' offensive team is definitely not inferior to that of the Earlier Team.

The Wildcats, who appeared in the challenger, boldly broke the deadlock in the first attack. Freeman took the initiative to run out of the bag. Under the cover of running back Johnson, he found Nelson with a short pass with a light throw. It was just a seven-yard short pass. Nelson took off the football from the dense crowd.

The focus is on subsequent cover.

The other two wide receivers Banks and Murphy both played the role of wingman, completing the key disassembly, and earning Nelson a half-step propulsion space. Then, relying on Nelson's personal ability, they broke away two consecutive impacts, shook off one grapple, and flicked out of the siege.

From a seven-yard short pass, it evolved to a fifteen-yard breakthrough, and then to a thirty-six-yard run, Nelson crossed the midfield line in one fell swoop and entered the opponent's halftime hinterland.

From this offense, we can see the complexity of the Wildcats' offensive tactics. Covering and dismantling, calculations and layout are completely the tactics of the professional league. They make full use of the dual threats of player cooperation and personal abilities. With just one pass, the opponent's defense team will be broken.

Then, the Wildcats' offensive team continued to maintain their strength. Faced with a three-speed three-yard conversion dilemma, Freeman used the reading option to attack, relying on his legs to rush out three-yards, and completing the first attack conversion. After that, the Wildcats became unstoppable and entered the red zone smoothly.

In the end, Freeman and Banks completed a three-yard short pass link, who singled out the cornerback and rolled into the end zone in a back-and-hit impact posture, leading the Wildcats to complete the touchdown first.
