The body does not rot at all, and even the hair, teeth and pores on their bodies can be clearly visible. The skin is still loose and sagging, just like they have just died.

There were two famous corpse raising sites in China, one is Yong'an corpse raising sites in southern Fujian, and the other is Fuxian Lake in Yuxi. It is said that there are many corpses standing under the water. Whenever the water flows, these underwater corpses will swing with the water flow, just like a person is still walking underwater before he dies.

However, as these two places became well-known to the public, the two corpse-raising areas gradually became abandoned and basically no longer exists.
