Chapter 17 Superman

After three rounds of wine, five flavors of dishes.

After Defney knew that she could not take Russell, she went straight to the dinner session and called back the people who had been sent away by her.

In addition to the two, there were a guard of Defney and a chef on the airship.

The silent guard, as tall as the tower, was wearing extremely heavy black iron plate armor, almost covering his whole body. He was not qualified to eat, but just stood there without saying a word, staring at his weapon, a terrifyingly large hammer.

The chef just silently prepared dishes in the back kitchen, and the only ones who were dining were Russell Defney.

Foie gras truffle, red wine steak, and delicious meat. This kind of fish is expensive. Because of its difficult fishing process and dangerous and cold waters, it can kill fishermen. However, many people from the bottom are still flocking to do this job. Because it is too profitable, a mature silver wing can be sold for 60 Pema silver coins. After being exquisitely processed by a senior chef, it can be sold for two or three hundred Pema silver coins. It is equivalent to the workers who build the bridge of the heaven, and three or four months of reward.

Russell felt a little bored because the world was full of stupid people.

The poison of rights makes the treatment specialized in the minds of fever.

But the people like whips that make people foolish.

Russell didn't understand why many people would never learn it. Even in their lifetime, in nearly a hundred years, they would not learn this truth.

Dongdongdongdongdong...

Russell poured a small bottle of wine, and he felt very bad. He had never been worried about it for a day. Only fine wine and cigarettes can heal this tragic world.

He knows a truth well. Whenever he wants to criticize others, he must think about whether others have their own superior conditions. Yes, those people do not have, do not have wisdom, and cannot wake up from the weaving dreams. They are just... the silent Lamb.

Russell occasionally expects someone like that to give these people hope, just like what a famous philosopher said about Superman.

Such people have wisdom that no one else has, reevaluating all moral traditional cultures, and using a new world outlook and life outlook to build a new value system.

A person who transcends the weak and transcends himself, a creator of truth and morality, norms and values.

Being able to withstand all tragedies without being defeated, hatred, jealousy, stubbornness, harshness, doubt, greed, and violence are just his nutrients, making him more complete and powerful.

Only such people can subvert the entire world, give those abandoned people, wisdom and courage, build a new Garden of Eden, and clear the cards of destiny again.

But does that person really exist? Superman...

Russell expressed doubts. He hated those ordinary people. However, he knew that no matter how many talents he had or what level of his thinking reached, he was just one of the more prominent mortals. After all, he was still a mortal. Due to his own self-superior, he needed to rely on alcohol and nicotine to survive in the world. How could such a person exist, a superman who was driven by his superego solely by his superego?

Just like myself, they are just mortals, so how can superman exist?

Although it is miserable, this is an unsolvable problem.

"Don't you eat fish?"

Defney stabbed a piece of fish that had been removed by the chef with a knife and fork, put it in her mouth, cut off by her front teeth, torn by her canine teeth, chewed by her teeth, and the oily juice that penetrated into the meat exploded from the corner of her mouth, like blood that spewed out after tearing the solidified scab.

She wiped her mouth with a napkin, smiled slightly at Russell, and expressed her regret for her disobedient behavior.

"Yes, I don't eat fish."

Russell lit a cigarette and whispered deeply, his indigo blue eyes shining coldly.

Defney's good impression of Russell was completely destroyed. Although Russell's extremely dazzling shining points completely covered his shortcomings, after spending more than an hour, he would find that Russell's shortcomings were too many. He was drunk, smoked, and had no restraint. He was always a poker face and had no expression. If a woman got married because of Russell's deceptive appearance and talent, she would definitely regret it for the rest of her life.

If you just like handsome men, or want to find a noble husband who doesn't have to worry about gold coins, then Defney has nothing to say.

"How long does it take to get to Nord Kingdom here."

Russell shook the ashes directly into the red wine glass. The smell of alcohol and smoke were all out of nobility, and he was more like a loser who was depressed in the tavern all day long.

"How do you know you are going to the Kingdom of Nord?" Defney exclaimed. Since Russell got on the airship, he had said nothing about this mission, nor did he have any paper documents. Only the emperor, the pope and himself knew it. He had never leaked it to others. The guards beside him didn't know the news, let alone the chef who prepared the meal.

"You may not understand my current status. Ms. Defney, the attack on the Kingdom of Nord may be five years later, and the bridge must be completed. There will be a series of unknown factors after that, so it may be ten years later, but no matter how long, this war must be fought. The rich Kingdom of Nord must be plundered, expanded its territory, and collected resources. Otherwise, the Principality will be annexed by Eastern forces colluding with the Demon World within two hundred years. I am one of the main responsible persons in charge of the pre-war preparations. I have the right to participate in all events in the Kingdom of Nord. Your Majesty asked you to come to me because I wanted me to disturb the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Nord. The nobles who wanted to plot against the rebellion, or the excuses needed to start a war can only be one of these two."

Russell said indifferently, and then wiped out a cigarette, and immediately lit another one. The airship's tea room was already filled with smoke. The guards who were covered with armor began to cough. He chose to leave, closed the door, and went out for some breathing.

Whether it was the smell of smoke or Russell's aggressive tone, Defne felt uncomfortable.

"Yes, you're right. This mission is very critical. Your Majesty is more concerned about the construction of the Bridge of Heaven and the life of his son. You may not know that the Prince had measles, but His Majesty never saw him once. Instead, he asked about the progress of the Bridge of Heaven and the need for more workers and magic machinery every day. If it weren't for an extremely important matter, he would never transfer you from the Bridge of Heaven and the Bridge of Heaven. If this mission was successful, we might have gained some allies. You know, the Kingdom of Nord is too powerful and almost no one dared to make any decisions about him."

When Defney thought of the goal of this mission, she couldn't help but feel a chill spreading on her spine, feeling a little disgusting.

"Is it? It's the latter. There are certainly evidences required to start a war, such as religious beliefs. Only heresy will bring people together. This extremely huge thrust will erase those who are unique."

"Sir, you are so smart, but it is even more serious than religious beliefs. At the Flange Academy in the Kingdom of Nord, it seems that someone is doing extremely dangerous experiments with goblins. We need to go over and verify them. If there is evidence, blasphemy and anti-world, these crimes will be detained, and the Kingdom of Nord will be the target of public criticism."

"Is this luck or misfortune?"

Russell fell into a whirlpool of melancholy again. If it weren't for the fact that he needed status and strength to defeat other empowered people in order to obtain the egg of the king, he would never want to touch these bad things, but just do some academic research quietly.

As if he couldn't finish the wine in his pocket, Russell took out another bottle, unscrewed the cap, and drank it wildly.
