Chapter 57 Five Universities (Schools) Schools
The first stop is, of course, Taoism.
Because the Taoist school is based in Taiyi Mountain, Taiyi Mountain is also called Zhongnan Mountain, located in the middle section of the Qinling Mountains in Shaanxi Province, just within the territory of the Qin State, south of the ancient city of Chang'an, which later became Xi'an.
Both Tianzong and Renzong are located in Taiyi Mountain, but their locations are different. Taiyi Mountain is said to be a mountain, but it is actually a section of the Qinling Mountains, starting from Baoji County, Shaanxi Province in the west to Lantian County, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province in the east.
Taking Xianyang as a reference, the ancient city of Chang'an is exactly in the southeast of Xianyang, which is also the fiefdom of Chengqiao, Xi County is in the southwest of Xianyang, and Lantian County is in the southeast of Chang'an, so Taiyi Mountain is in the direction from northwest to southeast.
The Taoist Tianzong is located in a section of Taiyi Mountain near Yi County, and the Taoist sect is located in a section of Taiyi Mountain near Lantian County, one to the west and one to the east. The Taiyi Mountain Guanmiao Platform is located in Taiyi Mountain, the ancestral home of Taoism before it was split. On the highest peak, the distance between Tianzong and Renzong is about the same.
More than five hundred years ago, the Yin-Yang theory, a branch of Taoism, broke away from Taoism and formed its own school, calling itself the Yin-Yang school.
More than 300 years ago, due to different understandings of Taoism, Taoism split into Tianzong and Renzong. Neither family wanted the other to occupy the Taoist ancestral court, so the two families simply started a new one, and the side in charge of Xueji was responsible for the ancestral court. .
As the sword of Laozi, the founder of Taoism, Xue Ji is the sword of Taoism and is one of the symbols of Taoism's orthodoxy. The Taoist ancestral court is also one of the symbols of orthodoxy.
Although Taoism is divided into three, no matter which branch is full of talented people, it is still a major sect in the world, strong enough to challenge any one.
However, in terms of the influence of their theories on the world, neither Taoism nor Yin-Yang School is too strong. Yin-Yang School is not ranked among the top five in terms of theoretical influence, while Taoism is only fifth. The influence of Taoism's Tianzong and Renzong combined.
In terms of the influence of doctrines, Confucianism, Mohism, Art of War, and Taoism are the five major theories in the world. Confucianism and Mohism are even called the two most prominent schools in the world. They are said to be neither Confucianism nor Mohism. Although the statement is a bit exaggerated, Confucianism and Mohism do have the top two in the world. of influence.
Military strategists are found in every country, and everyone who is born in a military strategist holds military power. Although each has his own master, the combined influence is worthy of ranking third.
Legalism was the mainstay in the Qin State, and the laws of other countries were too weak. The laws of the three kingdoms of Yan, Han, and Chu were reduced to toys for the powerful.
In addition to legalism and military strategism, Qin also had Mohism, Taoism, and Confucianism in the Five Great Universities. It can be said to be the most tolerant country.
In the Qin State, the influence of the Mohist family was second to none, but this Mohist family was not the Mohist family led by Liuzhi Heixia, but the Mohist family of Xiangli.
Xiang Li's Mohists focused on scientific and technological research and were very pragmatic. The reason for helping Qin was also because they saw that only Qin's system at that time was closest to their Mohist's final vision, so they were willing to help Qin complete the unification war.
The head of the Mohist family was divided into three parts:
Xiangli's Mo is also called Qin Mo. This sect has been integrated with the Qin State. It is no longer something that the Six Fingered Black Man sect can command. Even with Mozi's token, they cannot command it.
The main Mohist school is divided into three parts, namely the Mohism of the Xiangli family (Qin Mohism), the Mohism of the Deng Ling family (Chu Mohism), and the Mohism of the Xiangfu family (Qi Mohism). They are respectively the Youshi School, the Youxia School, and the Debate School.
Qin Mo may be more appropriately called the scientific school.
Chu Mo is the Mohist family led by Six Finger Black Knight. This sect acts more as a knight and does justice everywhere. They oppose wars in various countries and believe that these wars are launched by the powerful for their own interests and are not good for the people. They use Measure the world by your own values.
The Debate School is a sect that mainly focuses on scholar debates. They travel around the world and teach the Mohist idea of universal love. They oppose the use of violence to solve problems, even uprisings, and hope to use gentle methods to achieve peace. This is also a thought.
The most fanciful group in the world.
Confucianism claims to have disciples all over the world, and Mohism also claims to have hundreds of thousands of knights all over the world.
When Han Fei said, "Confucianism disrupts the law with literature, chivalry uses martial arts to violate the prohibition", the chivalrous person not only refers to the Mohist rangers, but also other warriors who do not respect the law, but mainly refers to the Mohist ranger sect.
The Ranger sect was willing to sacrifice life and death, endure hardships, sacrifice one's life for righteousness, and work hard to benefit the world. This is the basic style of Mozi and the basic tradition of Mohism.
And because the Ranger sect is the most powerful, although this sect claims to be the orthodox Mohist school, it is recognized by hundreds of other schools of thought. When talking about Mohism, they all refer to the Mohist Ranger sect, and when referring to the other two sects, they are called Qin Mo and Qi Mo.
Confucianism has the greatest influence in the world, and is the dominant theory in Qi State. However, in Qin State, it has the lowest influence among the five major schools of thought, not even comparable to Taoism.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the Qin State was hacked like that in later generations.
Qin State definitely has many shortcomings, but it is definitely not that unbearable!
As for the peasant family, although it is the sect with the largest number of disciples among the hundreds of scholars, the ancestors advocated seclusion in the fields and markets and did not seek to learn and reach the princes. This was not proactive enough, and the knowledge was not as rich as the five families.
Therefore, its influence has always been inferior to the five schools. Its main influence is in the three kingdoms of Chu, Qi and Wei, and it is most prosperous in the border areas of the three kingdoms. Its theoretical influence cannot reach the level of the top five.
If we exclude military sects and Legalists who do not have a unified leader, and simply talk about force, then Confucianism, Mohism, Taoism, Agriculture, and Yin-Yang can be called the five major sects, and the order does not represent strength.
Confucianism is not ostentatious. In fact, it has a very deep foundation in both doctrine and force, and has achieved a relative balance between quality and quantity.
After all, the Confucians of this era are not Confucians who have been castrated again and again. If the Confucians of this era cannot convince you with words, they will have to use physical means to convince you.
The inventor and leader of physical persuasion was none other than Confucius, the founder of Confucianism. He was an eight-foot-tall man who dared to wander around in troubled times and wilderness before his disciples accepted his labors. Without two brushes, he would have been long gone.
What a fart.
The Taoist Heavenly Sect, the Human Sect, and the Yin-Yang Sect all come from the same lineage. They mainly follow the elite route, value talent and understanding, pursue quality, and prefer to be deficient rather than excessive.
Mohists and peasants, because of their doctrines and concepts, it is impossible to take the elite route. Therefore, they mainly follow the popular route, mainly pursuing quantity, teaching regardless of distinction, and accepting everyone who comes.
…
When Cheng Qiao goes to Taoism, whether it's the Tian Sect or the Human Sect, even if he's in a hurry, he can basically start in the morning and arrive in the afternoon.
Because of Bei Mingzi, Cheng Qiao chose to go to Tianzong's headquarters first. Along the way, he sat in a carriage with an ordinary appearance, spacious interior, luxury and restrained, accompanied by Jingli. The driver was a Luowang killer who was proficient in driving.
.
When the carriage could not pass, Cheng Qiao took Jingyu up the mountain on foot, while the carriage was watched by the Snare Killer.
It is early spring, the towering Zhongnan Mountain, but snow is falling all day long on the top of the mountain. The ground is covered with silver. The mountainside and below are green clouds reaching the sky and the earth. The mountains are undulating like blue dragons, the haze is misty, the pines and cypresses are dense, the green flowers are rising, the white flowers are rumbling, and the water is misty.
The wildflowers sparkle with dazzling colors.
The air is fresh and full of inspiration. Even an ordinary person living here can live a few more years year after year.
The Haohao Taiyi Palace is built between the top of the mountain and the mountainside, where you can enjoy the scenery of early spring and midwinter at the same time. The palaces and pavilions of different sizes are built according to the terrain, complementing the surrounding environment, and integrating nature and man. Tao follows the natural way.
