Chapter 1009 Conspiracy and Awakening(1/3)

Listening to Sam's words behind him, Steve asked:

"Are your clothes made of vibranium?"

T'Challa turned to look at Steve aside and said:

"Black Panther is our protector of Wakanda for generations. This title has been passed down from generation to generation among warriors. Now because your friend murdered my father, I inherited my father's throne."

"I have to ask you, I am both a warrior and a king."

"Do you think you can protect your friends for much longer?"

Steve was silent when he saw this. This was not a good time to explain to T'Challa.

Soon everyone arrived at a base by car. Steve got out of the car and looked around, then walked up to the person in charge and asked:

"What will be done to him?"

At this time, a man wearing a gray and white suit said:

"Like you, I should undergo a psychological evaluation and then be extradited back to my country."

At this time, Sharon Carter, standing aside, introduced:

"This is Everett Ross, deputy commander of the counterterrorism team."

T'Challa spoke:

"Can I get a lawyer?"

Everett Ross laughed:

"Lawyer? Interesting."

Then he turned to his men and said:

"Lock up their weapons and I'll write you a receipt."

Sam watched everyone take away their equipment and said:

"I hope I don't see anyone flying wearing my equipment for a while."

Steve then glanced at Bucky in the special prison, and then followed everyone in.

Everett Ross turned to look at T'Challa and said:

"We have prepared an office for you, not a cell."

"Please don't run out."

T'Challa spoke:

"Don't worry, I don't plan to go anywhere."

At this time Natasha came over from the opposite side, came to Steve's side and said:

"By the way, that's what I said about making it worse."

Steve said:

"He's still alive."

Soon everyone walked through the corridor and came to a room, where Tony Stark was talking on the phone:

"Ninjas are not bound by the agreement. Colonel Rhodes oversees the aftermath."

"Face the consequences? Of course there will be consequences."

"Don't worry, I will do what I say. Do you have any other questions?"

"Thank you, sir."

Then Tony hung up the phone.

Steve heard Tony's conversation and asked:

"What consequences?"

Tony pointed at Steve and Sam and said:

"Congress is going to file a lawsuit against you two. You need to be appeased."

Steve asked:

"Do you want to confiscate my shield?"

Natasha said:

"It is now owned by the government, and so are the wings."

Sam spoke:

"How heartless."

Tony turned his head and said:

"It's better than going to jail."

······

Steve looked at the surveillance screen outside the conference room and in the office area, which showed Bucky's detention situation.

At this time Tony came over and said:

"Hey, look at this."

As he spoke, he showed a small box in his hand, which looked like a box containing a badge or a pen.

"I got it from my dad's archives. It's just right for use."

Tony opened it, placed it in front of Steve, and said:

"Roosevelt used them to sign the Lend-Lease Act in 1941."

"Provided support to allies when they needed it most."

Looking at the signature pen in front of him, Steve said:

"Some people also say that this has brought the war closer."

Tony opened his mouth and said:

"Without them, there wouldn't be you."

Then he realized that these words were too explosive and immediately said:

"I was thinking...how to say it?"

"Uh... extend an olive branch."

"Is that what you said?"

Steve suddenly changed the subject and said:

"Where's Pepper? Why didn't you see her?"

Tony said:

"We...kind of..."

"how to say?"

Steve asked:

"pregnant?"

Tony quickly clarified:

"No, of course not."

"we broke up."

"Both are right."

Steve shook his head and said:

"I'm sorry, Tony, I didn't know."

Tony said:

"A few years ago, I threw away all my armor to keep her."

"Then we had to deal with Hydra, and then Ultron. My bad."

"And then and again, and always being Iron Man, because I don't want to stop."

"I don't want to lose Pepper, maybe this agreement can make a difference."

"She thinks I'm a difficult person to manage."

Tony stood up and said:

"My dad was also a troublemaker back then, but he and my mom were able to get on with things."

Steve said:
To be continued...
