Chapter 3 The Anderson Gang, Waiting for the Rabbit

When the train arrived at Valentine Station, the passengers in the car finally put down the big rock in their hearts.

When getting off the bus, the passengers in the car came forward to express their gratitude to Rorsch, the benefactor who stopped the robbery:

"Thank you, Mr. Rorschach."

“Very grateful…”

The last one to get off the bus was Johnson.

Before the other party could speak, Roxa spoke first:

"Mr. Johnson, can you do me one more favor at the end?"

"you say."

Pointing at the robber who was tied with his hands and feet and lying on the ground, Rosha immediately ordered:

"I'm here watching this guy so he won't run away. You go to the sheriff's office and tell the sheriff the whole story of what happened here, and let him bring someone here to deal with the matter here, okay?"

"Okay, Mr. Rorschach. I'll go now!"

Watching Johnson leave, Rorschach was left in the entire carriage and a robber tied up.

Before the sheriff arrived, Roxa came to the bodies of three robbers and touched the bodies with ease.

A beautiful pocket watch, fifty-six dollars, and two boxes of bullets, was his final gain.

Throwing all the bullets into [System Space] and stuffing pocket watches and banknotes into their pockets, Rorschach saw that the gate of the station was pushed open suddenly.

The leader is Johnson.

Behind him was a middle-aged man wearing a light brown long windbreaker.

I saw him wearing a black cowboy hat with slightly raised sides, and a hexagonal star police badge was hung on the black vest lined.

A mustache that is so neat and funny that it is and a less determined look make people seem to not see much security from the law enforcement officer in this small town.

On both sides of him, there were two men dressed similarly and wearing shield-shaped police badges, who looked like they were the sheriff's assistants.

The bearded man took two of his men to the train car. His eyes were on three bodies and the robbers for a while, and finally fell on Roxa:

"I am Sheriff Malloy of Valentine. Are you looking for me?"

"I'm glad to see you, Sheriff. I think Mr. Johnson has told you about the incident, right?"

Nodding, Sheriff Malloy looked at the dark-haired young man in front of him with admiration, "Yes, young man, you are very brave. What's your name?"

"Rothar."

"Mr. Rorschach, I heard from Mr. Johnson, you are a bounty hunter?"

"Yes, I just came from Boston and happened to meet these guys' idea to take a train, so..."

Shrugging, Rorschach immediately added: "I can only take measures of self-defense."

"Of course! In the United States, everyone has the right to protect themselves and their property!"

After approving Rorschach's behavior, Sheriff Malloy waved his hand and ordered: "Secretary Morris, Police Steven, go and see who those bastards are."

"Okay, sir."

As soon as he finished speaking, a police officer walked straight towards the kidnapped robber.

Another police officer came to the three bodies, pulled away the corpse's face towel one by one, and tried to identify the robbers.

When he pulled open a man's face towel with blood and slightly longer hair, he seemed to see something very surprised and couldn't help but exclaim:

"Anders Anderson?!"

Upon hearing this, Sheriff Maloy and Rorschach both looked in the same voice.

Sheriff Malloy even stepped forward to confirm it, then raised his head and looked at Rorschach with a smile: "Young man, you are lucky. You actually shot Anders Anderson to death!"

When Luo Xia heard this name, he felt a little familiar, but he couldn't remember who it was for a moment.

"Is he very famous?"

"In a sense, yes. His Anderson Gang, murder, robbery and kidnapping, were all scum among scumbags, who committed no less than a dozen crimes, and were wanted criminals in several nearby states and counties..."

After a pause, Sheriff Maloy looked at Rorsch with a hint of envy:

"Congratulations, young man, you just earned a generous bounty for yourself."

After saying that, he waved to Rorschach, "Come on, young man, help me. Take these scumbags back to my office and you can get your bounty."

Upon hearing this, Luo Xia raised his eyebrows and agreed without hesitation:

"Extremely happy!"

Next, Rorschach helped to move the three bodies to a carriage outside the station, covered it with oil cloth, and then took the carriage and slowly drove into Valentine along the road...

...

According to Rorschach's memory of playing the game, Valentine in the game is a noisy and chaotic town located in the heart of the earth.

Valentine's livestock auction industry has attracted countless merchants, ranchers, gamblers, and outlaws from afar, looking for opportunities to make money, commit crimes or seek pleasure.

This is the place where hardworking people live, and it is also the ideal paradise for cowboys, fugitives, and prostitutes...

"Give it aside!"

Hearing the shouts from behind, a shepherd quickly waved the whip in his hand, drove away a small group of sheep connected by ropes, leaving the road, giving up enough space for the carriage to pass.

On the side of the carriage, Sheriff Maloy asked the black-haired young man sitting in the carriage while holding the horse's reins:

"Young man, is this your first time in Valentine?"

"Yes, sheriff."

“It looks very lively here…”

"Yes, however, the excitement often brings a lot of trouble."

Hearing this, Luo Xia's eyes flashed past, and she couldn't help but think of the biggest "trouble" in the game - the Van Delin Gang.

Judging from the timeline, the robbery in Hei Shui Town has not yet happened.

The Van Delin Gang should still be active near Heishui Town.

If he wants to trigger the main mission of this world, he must contact the protagonist of the world, namely Arthur Morgan!

However, after Rorschach learned that the destination of the train was Valentine, he had a preliminary plan.

Because, Rorschach, who had played the game, knew very well that after the robbery in Blackwater Town, the Vanderlin Gang would stay in the "Portrait Village" on the snow-capped mountains for a while before he would camp at the horseshoe watchtower near Valentine.

So, what he had to do next was stay in Valentine and wait for the rabbit...

Thinking of this, Roxa couldn't help but turn his head and smile to the sheriff.

"It just so happens that I am not afraid of trouble..."

Upon hearing this, the sheriff was a little surprised at the confidence that the young man showed.

However, when he recalled what happened on the train, he felt relieved.

“Hope so…”

Taking a carriage, the group soon arrived at the main street of Valentine.

The black muddy streets were filled with a faint smell of feces in the air...

At the door of the store, two men wearing cowboy hats and revolvers on their waists were holding inferior cigarettes in their hands, leaning against the guardrail, swallowing clouds and fog...

Looking at the scenes that appeared in the game in front of him, Rorschach couldn't help but realize a fact again:

I really came to the wild, free and dangerous western United States at the end of the 19th century!
