The End of the Silk Thread: Chapter 2 The Marionette

There is always a rainy day in our past that cannot be forgotten, and our tears should also flow from the beginning of a heavy rain.

There should be very little rain in autumn, but somehow there is a lot of rain this fall. Liu Dandan thinks this is a great irony for her. Whenever it rains on a rainy night, she will suffer from insomnia, stare out the window, and feel lonely and sad for no reason.

The most regrettable part of growing up is that we always meet the best people in our most ignorant years, but we don’t know it.

As for love, I think the most regrettable thing is that we love each other, but we cannot be until we grow old.

Human life is so fragile and impermanent. Even if you rub your eyes and watch it live, you may miss the moment of death. The common scene of the head suddenly hangs down in movies does not exist in real life.

Instead, you just sit there quietly, waiting for things to happen, and then suddenly realize that you have missed that second.

"I'm going home, do you want to follow me too?" Liu Dandan stood at the door and turned around.

"Of course not, I just confirmed that some people will not sneak out again." Chen Zishao said with a smile.

"I will not come out again if someone is watching at home." Liu Dandan said.

"Lin Tianxiang said that with your ability, he absolutely believes that you can sneak out again." Chen Zishao spread his hands helplessly, "I said sister, just be considerate of the younger one."

Liu Dandan was silent for a few seconds, then smiled, "Okay, you can stay here." Then she went in without looking back.

"Why did you suddenly become so easy to talk about?" Chen Zishao thought for two seconds and concluded: "Hey... I must be too charming."

While this narcissistic old man was monitoring Miss Liu, Yan Yurou and I went to the morgue room of the police station. The people who received us were still Officer Zhao and Forensic Xiaoqin.

"The same result is that the deceased had multiple comminuted fractures and there were no fingerprints from others on his body. It should have been suicide." Xiaoqin was very patient and said to us after prosecuting for the 23rd time.

However, sometimes you can't get the correct answer with patience. Well, this is the same as when I was studying math for a long time, but I still failed the exam paper in the end.

Officer Zhao said: "Based on years of experience in police officers, the deceased is by no means as simple as suicide."

"Uncle Zhao... I have checked it twenty-three times, and all the signs can prove that he committed suicide." Xiaoqin retorted.

"I'll know if I commit suicide for a while." I quickly smoothed out the situation.

"You have a way?" Xiaoqin was puzzled. She didn't think that I would find clues if I was a non-professional forensic doctor.

"Of course I can't see anything that is not easy to detect with the naked eye," I pulled Yan Yurou's hand, "but she can."

"ha?"

Regardless of whether they believed it or not, Yan Yurou looked at the body and observed it carefully. After about two minutes, Yan Yurou's eyes stopped on Qiao Yong's head.

"Head?" Xiaoqin frowned. Her head was the place where she checked the most and the most impossible. How could it be the most suspicious if she changed to this beautiful woman?

Yan Yurou didn't say anything, but saw her slender fingers gently pushing Qiao Yong's head away and revealing her scalp. Then she reached out to a piece of scalp, and seemed to pull something out to the "air".

Yan Yurou put it on the laboratory table, and with the light, the three of us finally saw clearly that it turned out to be a silver thread!

"Sometimes, I still have to rely on Octavian's observation skills." I smiled.

Xiaoqin glared at me, pouting and not speaking.

"Why is there a thread connected to the deceased's head?" Officer Zhao said in confusion.

"Check it out," I said.

Maybe Xiaoqin wanted to argue with me on purpose, maliciously "checked" for five minutes, and then slowly said: "Polyamide-6, model o.15mm."

"Ordinary nylon thread?" I frowned.

"The normal thickness of a human skull is between o.95m and 1.2m thick, and the hardness is extremely strong. Not to mention nylon thread, even a blunt weapon can't break the skull in one go!" Xiaoqin said terrified, "How did the murderer do it?"

"Can't it be that... the murderer killed him with this thread?" Officer Zhao also fell into deep thought. He did not expect that the case he took over was far from his imagination.

I stared at the corpse and kept it like this for five minutes, and suddenly said, "No, Qiao Yong committed suicide."

This conclusion made everyone stunned.

"Why?" Yan Yurou questioned my words as always, as if no matter how outrageous I said, she would believe it for no reason.

"According to the student's transcript, we can know that Qiao Yong did jump directly from a high place at that time, and there was no one around him." I paused, "so that we can rule out that the murderer used the silver thread to kill Qiao Yong, and Qiao Yong happened to stand upstairs and think about the conclusion of life."

"But, if he committed suicide, then what's going on with this silver thread?" Officer Zhao asked.

"You may have misunderstood that what I mean by suicide is in quotes." I smiled.

"In quotes?" Everyone was confused.

"Have you ever played the Red Alert?" I asked something unrelated.

"I've played it, ea's masterpiece back then, and our generation loves to play this." Officer Zhao's eyes suddenly became melancholy, as if he was sighing at the time, and seemed to miss the past... Damn, now you are still solving the case, where are your thoughts?!

"Uh...then you should remember Yuri's ability, right?"

Officer Zhao answered without thinking, "Mind control... Could it be that you are trying to say...?!"

"That's right," I nodded with a smile, "Joyong was controlled and was slid."

"Can a thread control people?" Xiaoqin thought this was ridiculous. "Why don't you write novels?"

"Can consider it." I answered seriously.

"Hmph, science is science. This kind of thing that does not conform to the actual situation is pure nonsense." Xiaoqin sneered.

"Oh? Tell me science?" I walked to the beautiful forensic doctor, looked at her eyes and said coldly: "Some people always think that science is the truth, but in fact they know nothing about real science, so these people like to call things that they cannot understand supernatural or unfounded.

"Not to mention the universe, how much do you really know about this world? [Unknown] does not mean [not exist], but the current technological level cannot be understood. Just like the people from the Peak Cave are like you see a plane. You will feel that it is normal, but he will think it is a [miracle]."

Xiaoqin's face turned red and she bit her lip and didn't say anything. Obviously she wanted to refute but had nothing to say.

In the end, Officer Zhao had to smooth things over: "How did the murderer use the line to control Qiao Yong's actions?"

I looked at him and showed a strange smile, "Do you know the puppet..."

Bang!

At this moment, the door was pushed open heavily, and Chen Zishao leaned against the door and gasped.

I feel bad about him like this.
