Chapter 34 History Book Name Charles

When the moon was in the middle of the sky, Charles dragged his tired body and returned to the hotel with Harkala.

Originally, he thought that he could use himself as bait to catch fish of human traffickers today, but he met the Pope.

When he returned to the room, he found Diana lying on the bed, looking depressed.

Charles walked over and asked, "What's wrong? Is there anything unhappy?"

Diana shook her head, then pointed to her chest, "It hurts here if you are in a bad mood."

Cha asked, "Why, I'll help you rub it?"

Diana didn't reply, but looked at someone with the look of "If you have the ability, try it."

So Charles stretched out his right hand to Diana.

"Wow!" Diana jumped up while covering her chest.

"You deserve a beating!" She shouted at Charles with the slime ice cream in a thin wooden box that she threw from the storage ring onto her chest.

Charles handed Diana the small piece of wood used as a spoon, sat beside her with her own slime ice cream and asked, "What's wrong with being unhappy?"

Diana took the wood chip and sighed, "How can a feudal ruling class like you understand the sorrow of us ruled civilians?"

Diana came from her body, and after she came, her body turned into a pure vegetarian and also turned into a two or three-year-old child. Professor Wolf, who was traveling, discovered and adopted her. Therefore, Diana had a name in this world, but she was not a noble but a civilian, so she had no surname.

Charles is powerless to do anything about this kind of problem involving social rules. He is now unable to fight the entire human society alone.

He could only comfort Diana, "There will be a solution in the future."

Diana glared at Charles with annoyance. The way he said was to find a nobleman to marry him.

"The great prayer for forging the temple began on the 25th, and we will be guests at that time." Charles changed the subject and invited Diana to watch the fun together.

"How do you have a quota?" Diana looked at Charles incredibly, "Professor Wolf planned to get a quota, but he didn't get it."

Charles took a bite of ice cream, and the faint fragrance of osmanthus spread in his mouth.

"I helped solve a problem today, so the Pope specially approved me to take someone to be a guest. And this ice cream was also given by him." Charles answered while eating.

"Oh?" Diana was immediately excited, "Tell me how you performed?"

"Not acting," Charles said, "I just accidentally gave them some inspiration and helped them solve a lot of problems."

Then Charles roughly told Diana about what happened today and the discussions of a group of dwarves.

"What other benefits do you have? For example, knowing the saint who forged the temple or something, and then following the process, you will have something to do with the saint." Diana looked at Charles with a funny face.

Speaking of Saint, Charles's face turned dark, "My shoulder blades were almost cracked by her fist as big as a casserole."

"What happened later?" Diana continued.

Charles' face turned darker now, "Later she proposed to name the threaded steel bar Charles steel bar."

Diana was stunned for a long time, then patted Charles on the shoulder and said, "Youzi, you can, now you have left your name in history. At least those who study architecture will remember your name in the future."

However, Charles didn't look happy at all. He whispered to Diana: "You should know that the world is very strange and many technologies are suppressed. I don't know if reinforced concrete will be locked like papermaking."

"It's not as simple as you think." Diana threw the empty ice cream box into the trash can at the bedside. "This time I walked from east to west from south to north and found that the world was locked."

"The class solidification in this world is even more serious than you think. The upward passage between classes is like a person who crosses a single-plank bridge during the Spring Festival travel rush, but he also gives a way to let you cross the bridge."

"I don't want to talk about technology. War can promote the development of technology, but the war here has been going on for thousands of years, but the development of technology has been fluctuating up and down at the same average level."

"Oh..." Charles sighed, and he was also depressed by this matter.

"You were in a bad mood just now because of this?" he asked.

"No." Diana moved her seat and moved a little away from Charles. "While dinner I heard someone talking about me behind my back."

Charles' tone became serious. Now the hotel is full of caravans. "Who is it? I won't put two more handfuls of salt to death when I drink soup next time."

"Forget it, I don't want you to be hard to do." Diana said.

"What did they say about you?" Charles asked.

Diana hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Some people say that I seduced you shamelessly in order to become a countess. I said that I was just a civilian, and I could not become a noble lady, and I could only be a lover. If you marry me, even my descendants would be ridiculed."

Charles' mouth twitched. It seemed that no matter which world there were gossipers. Diana was definitely angry about this. She was born as a Miss Wanjin, and her father was still a ruthless person who dared to spread computer viruses to cover up her dark history. Under the protection of such a family, she had never been such gossiped about it.

He gently patted Diana's hand holding the sheets, and said, "I'll leave this matter to me."

"Forget it." Diana waved her hand, "Anyway, I will leave after the matter in Avalon City is resolved in a few days. There is no need for you to have an unhappy relationship with me and my colleagues."

"I have a sense of justice," Charles said.

Diana's words were not provocative, she was not a silly white sweet who didn't understand office politics, she just thought it was not worth using her limited resources for such trivial matters. She was not the kind of person who wanted to bite her dog when she barked at her, and she didn't want to make Charles unhappy in the caravan because of her own reasons.

However, from Charles's standpoint, he had to react to this matter. Because another meaning of this gossip is that he was stupid to investigate someone? He was confused by a girl of unknown origin. If he did not fight back on this matter, then there would definitely be more and more gossip about him in the following days. In more serious cases, this gossip may be further spread and fermented on the mainland as the caravan advances.
