Chapter 1 Blood Hairpin

There is a country in the south of Zhongzhou. Its capital is on Mount Qiu, which is called Shangqiu. There is a big river under the city that runs from north to south. The water in the river is clear and sweet, and there are many fat fish. Many people in the city make a living on it.

It was already three o'clock at night, and I went to the city of Gui.

In the back court of the imperial palace, the sound of a woman crying could be heard faintly in Jing'an Hall. Through the weak candlelight, a woman in palace clothes was sitting in front of the mirror and sobbing. The face of the woman in the mirror was ferocious and terrifying. Her originally smooth face was covered with large bruises.

Poison sac, the place where the poison sac festers has a fishy and pungent smell.

In the room, in front of the desk with the candlestick, sat a handsome young man, about twelve or thirteen years old.

The boy's eyes were red and swollen, and there were still tears in the corners of his eyes. He held the pen with one hand and moved quickly, and finally touched the tip of the pen lightly. He let out a long sigh and thought to himself: This time it's finally done!

The young man quickly held something in front of the ugly woman, and the woman took it with trembling hands. It was a white bamboo mask painted with yellow peonies.

"Mom, take a look, do you like it?" The young man tried his best to raise the corners of his mouth.

"Chuan'er..." The woman stopped sobbing.

"Concubine, Chuan'er, put it on for you and take a look." The young man gently lifted the long hair from the woman's forehead and gently covered the woman's face with the peony mask.

The young man suddenly frowned and complained: "Ever since my father returned from victory, he has been staying in Chunlan Palace all day, only singing and dancing, and not visiting his mother and concubine. It's all my fault for that poisonous woman of the Hua family, for causing you to be like this.

One day I will let her return her face a hundred times a thousand times!"

"My son, please silence me! If her people hear it and spread it to your father, you will make your father angry again." The woman gently covered the young man's mouth with her hand and sighed: "Oh! There were things in the past.

It was because of Empress Yi's care that the Hua family did not dare to attack our mother and son. Now that Empress Yi has passed away, how can she let us go."

"It's all because Chuan'er is useless and doesn't please his father. Even now he can't sense his spiritual power. His birthday is coming soon, and the unawakened spiritual power will dissipate by then. It seems that Chuan'er is doomed to be hopeless in this life.

Become a Huanhuan spiritual master..." The young man knelt down on one knee, with tears in his eyes, and choked out his voice.

"There are still three days left. Even if you can't become a spiritual master, it doesn't matter if you become an ordinary person, at least less... Huh?" The woman rubbed the golden hairpin in her hand with her left hand, and wiped away the tears on the boy's cheek with her right hand, and found that the boy's cheek

Some of them frowned immediately.

"Did you fight with Xun'er again? What did my concubine tell you before?" The woman felt distressed and angry.

"Who told him to say behind your back that you are..." the young man whispered.

"Toad spirit? Or a toad monster? Mother concubine? Just ignore him! He is your brother after all..." The woman's face was unhappy but her voice was still gentle.

"He is not my brother, he is Hua's son! My mother and concubine can bear it, but Chuan'er... can't bear it!" the young man said angrily.

"You..." The woman raised her hand and was about to strike. She looked at the increasingly handsome and fearless boy in front of her, paused and sighed: "My Chuan'er has grown up, and he dares to talk back to his mother and concubine...

..You should go back! Let the mother-in-law be alone for a while."

The woman in palace clothes turned her back, and her fingers stroking the golden hairpin began to tremble.

Seeing that the woman was really angry, the young man had no choice but to leave.

The woman in palace attire was Concubine Lin, one of the three concubines of the Southern Emperor, and the young man was the eldest prince of the Southern Emperor, Shen Tuchuan. Concubine Lin gently touched the peony mask on her face, silently turned her head and watched the young man leave, shedding two lines of tears.

At five o'clock in the morning, the Nanhuang Yuli Palace and the Chunlan Palace are brightly lit, and the sound of silk and bamboo strings can be heard all the time.

A middle-aged man wearing a red robe embroidered with golden red birds was lying drunk on the dragon couch in the palace. He squinted his drunken eyes and looked at the dancers dancing in the palace. The long and finely braided beard on his chin was stained with bright red.

The wine juice was poured out, and the right arm was slightly bent to support the rugged body bones under the wide dragon robe. The left arm was hugging the half-naked jade shoulder of the concubine, and the little finger hooked the handle of the jade pot, swaying gently to the rhythm of bamboo music.

This is the Southern Emperor Shentu Xiu who made the southern princes talk about it with anger. It is said that he has reached the fourth realm of Tianling a hundred years ago.

"Your Majesty! It's not good! It's not good! Concubine Lin committed suicide." The imperial servant Bu Yong staggered into the palace.

"What's the fuss about?! Are there any rules?" Nan Huang was naturally displeased because it disturbed his mood.

"Your Majesty, Buyong said that Sister Lin... is dead." Concubine Hu, who ranked first among the three concubines, whispered in Nanhuang's ear.

Shen Tuxiu's eyes darkened, he got up and went straight to Concubine Lin's residence.

Concubine Lin's bed was surrounded by people. Shen Tuchuan knelt in front of the bed and had already burst into tears.

On the bed, Concubine Lin's eyes were slightly open and her pupils were dilated. The blood overflowing from the corner of her lips had begun to solidify. A blood hole as big as a little finger on her chest was still bleeding out. Her left hand was holding a gold hairpin stained with blood.

When everyone saw Nan Huang approaching, they all got out of the way, but Shen Tuchuan remained kneeling and did not move.

"What's going on?! Are you still breathing?" Nan Huang only glanced at Concubine Lin, then turned his head, took a deep breath and asked in a deep voice.

"Your Majesty, I discovered this when I came over this morning to deliver medicated meals to Concubine Lin..." The trembling voice of Mrs. Ru, who was in charge of royal meals in the imperial court, was particularly clear.

"Who allowed you to deliver medicinal meals?!" Shen Tuxiu asked in a deep voice.

"When Empress Yi was alive, she asked me to always give Concubine Lin some herbal medicines for building muscle and nourishing the skin, and I never failed to do so..." Mrs. Ru replied tremblingly.

"Sister, isn't it just that her appearance has been disfigured? Why...why can't I think about it...Bu Yong, why don't you go help the eldest prince up quickly?" Concubine Hua pretended to cry and said: "There is no resurrection after death. The eldest prince is sorry for the change.

Don’t dare to hurt the country’s body.”

Shen Tuchuan glared at Concubine Hua fiercely and said in his heart: Humph! You are so pretentious! You witch wants me to die so that your son can take over!

Shen Tuchuan's eyes returned to Concubine Lin again, and he gently adjusted her sleeves. When he touched the hand holding the golden hairpin tightly, he thought to himself: "Concubine... I am Chuan'er..."

Concubine Lin's tightly clenched hand slowly relaxed. Shen Tuchuan tremblingly pulled out the bloody gold hairpin, put it in his sleeve, gently put the mask on Concubine Lin's miserable face, and turned to look at Silence.

The father of Yu.

"Bu Yong, according to Gu's decree, please ask the Imperial Master to bury Concubine Lin near the mausoleum of Queen Yi." Nanhuang said softly.

"Wait! I want to take a look at Mrs. Ru's hairpin." Shen Tuchuan suddenly noticed traces of blood on the corner of his mother-in-law's skirt and said loudly.

"The eldest prince won't suspect that I killed Sister Lin!? Isn't the blood hairpin in Concubine Lin's own hands..." Mrs. Ru's heart suddenly tightened and she pretended to be calm.

"Give it to me!" Shen Tuchuan said again, his eyes fixed on Mrs. Ru.

Mrs. Ru looked at Nanhuang aggrievedly, and Nanhuang nodded slightly. In desperation, he had no choice but to pull out one and handed it to Shen Tuchuan. His tall bun suddenly relaxed a little.

Shen Tuchuan took the hairpin and looked at it carefully, then put it in front of his nose and smelled it, frowning.

"Another one!"

Mrs. Ru's heart just fell, but suddenly her throat was raised again, "This is no good. If you take off the cloud bun, it will fall apart. How can you look disheveled in front of the king!" After saying this, she looked at Nanhuang and Concubine Hu for help.

.

"Show him!" Nan Huang's tone was filled with helplessness.

Mrs. Ru had no choice but to take off the other one, and her high bun fell down like a waterfall.

Shen Tuchuan took a closer look and put it in front of his nose, and immediately smelled blood.

"May I ask Madam Ru, where did the smell of blood on this hairpin come from?! You must have killed my mother and concubine!" Shen Tuchuan pointed at Madam Ru angrily, with a determined look in his eyes.

"It's unjust! Your Majesty! I'm unjustly accused..." Mrs. Ru shouted miserably, her body trembling.

"Bring me the hairpin and show it to Gu!" Nanhuang said in a deep voice.

Buyong was about to go, but was stopped by Concubine Concubine. Concubine Concubine took the hairpin from Shen Tuchuan's hand, wiped it with fragrant silk in her sleeve robe and handed it to Nanhuang.

Nanhuang took it and heard it, with a gloomy look on his face he angrily said: "I see you are overly grieving for your mother's death, where is the smell of blood coming from!"

Shen Tuchuan was stunned and said to himself, "So you are all in the same group, so why should I argue with you?" He rushed directly to Mrs. Ru.

"I kill you!!"

Before he could reach Mrs. Ru, Shen Tuchuan was hugged by the guards. No matter how hard he struggled, it was all in vain.

"Lock him up! No one can let him out without Gu's will! What a nonsense! Alas..." Nanhuang also used the real fire, and the left eye that was burned in the battle at Shenxi Cliff suddenly started to hurt again.
