56 Grassland Village

Anka traveled on this grassland until noon and still saw no sign of any monsters, not even an animal.

There was only the constant sound of wind blowing around. Anka looked towards the empty grassland around him, and began to doubt whether he had gone the wrong way. The empty environment around him made Anka feel confused and continued to move forward.

Kajudir said: "Maybe it was just an accident, and it's not too late for us to go back now."

"I'm not wrong."

Anka raised his eyes and finally saw cloud-like flocks of sheep appearing at the end of the grassland. Anka knew that where there were sheep, there must be herders, so Anka rode his horse and rushed there quickly.

When the herdsman saw Anka coming on horseback, he was so frightened that he picked up a little lamb and sat on the horse to greet his companions.

"Run! The wind is coming!"

After that, the whole flock of sheep in front of Anka was moving quickly like clouds blown by the wind. Anka looked around and found that there was no danger.

Afterwards, Anka shouted: "Wait a minute, I'm not a bad person." while riding a horse to catch up.

Finally, in front of the two reconnaissance posts, the sheep were herded into the fence behind them, and the men took out a bunch of weapons such as scimitars and longbows. There were even crossbows on the reconnaissance posts to greet the enemies.

The moment Anka stepped into their shooting range, Anka secretly sighed something bad when he saw the people standing in front of the fence.

Anka put his hand on the magic sword and prepared it.

There was a roaring sound that broke through the air, and several arrows hit Anka. Anka waved his magic sword to resist.

After his horse was hit by an arrow, Anka fell heavily to the ground. Taking advantage of Anka's fall, the shooting ended. Anka looked up and found those people running towards him with big nets.

"Let them calm down!"

Then Anka concentrated his energy and waved the magic sword to summon a large amount of flames to block them. The horses that kept advancing were frightened by the flames summoned by the magic sword and stood in front of the wall of fire, daring not to continue.

Anka stood up, jumped up, grabbed a horse, grabbed a herdsman in his hand and shouted: "I am not a dangerous person, I just want to ask for directions."

"Put down the sword and we will take you to see the clan leader."

Afterwards, Anka was surrounded by everyone and taken to a large tent behind the fence.

Anka stood in front of the vigilant crowd. When he saw an old man being helped to sit in a seat, Anka said: "You must have made a mistake! I am not a bad person."

The old man raised his glasses and looked at Anka in front of him.

"The Cades actually show up here."

"What happened to the Cades?"

"I thought those were slaves! Did you get separated from your master?"

After hearing this, Anka felt a little unhappy but still tried to stay calm as much as possible.

After that, the old man's eyes gradually moved down to Anka's chest, and he opened his eyes wide in surprise and pointed at Anka, speechless.

Everyone asked: "What's wrong?"

"What's under your clothes?"

After hearing this, Anka gently opened the outer leather armor to reveal the silk white robe given by the saint. However, Anka felt that it was too wide, so he made some modifications in private.

Everyone looked at each other in shock when they saw the pure white robe.

"How is that possible for a Cadesian? Where did this come from!"

Anka said softly: "It was a gift from the saint."

After hearing this, everyone became agitated. The old man raised his hands to calm them down and carefully observed the Anka. After seeing the decoration of the Anka and the magic sword behind it, he tremblingly summoned his attendants and said, "Go and prepare a room."

Afterwards, the old man stood respectfully in front of Anka and said: "I'm very sorry, sir. We were also harassed terribly by the sudden appearance of demons and gangs recently, so we are so nervous about you. Please move to the room we have prepared for you first.

Bar!"

Anka put on her clothes again and said, "Excuse me."

Afterwards, Anka followed the attendant to another large tent.

Everyone asked in confusion: "Why is the clan leader?"

"Why? I would rather believe someone who has something than someone who doesn't. Don't you understand by looking at what the other person is wearing? Even if the person has never seen the saint, you can tell that the person is not an ordinary person just by looking at her clothes."

"But he's a Caddes."

"Maybe he's a mix of Cades and San Seca? I won't say much for a while but I want to see for myself whether he is truly a noble."

Anka stood in the tent and sat down slowly. He put the magic sword on his lap and held it tightly. The surrounding was so quiet that even the footsteps outside could be heard clearly by Anka. Anka held the magic sword tightly and was ready at all times.

Forced to leave.

After a while, several attendants came in with food, and then the patriarch slowly sat down and asked: "How did you get here, sir?"

"I was entrusted by the saint to eliminate demons."

"Then you come from the City of Giant Towers?"

"Yes."

"Excuse me, what is your name?"

"Ankh."

After hearing this, the patriarch squinted his eyes and wondered whether there was a noble named this in the city of giant towers.

"May I ask what your surname is?"

"No."

The patriarch was immediately confused. After all, if he didn't even have a last name, he would have no way of telling whether the person was a noble or a commoner.

The patriarch stood up and whispered to the attendant next to him: "If you don't have a name, you can't really be an ordinary slave, right?"

The attendant said: "Maybe he is just too careful to tell us."

"so?"

"Since the other party is here to kill demons, we might as well let him give it a try. It would be better for us to win than to lose because he was sent by the Saint and has nothing to do with us."

"good!"

Afterwards, the patriarch invited Anka to eat the food on the table with a smile on his face. In order to dispel Anka's doubts, the patriarch himself ate some first.

After eating, Anka sat quietly on a chair and observed the surroundings.

The patriarch asked: "Excuse me, do you need anything?"

"My horse is gone."

"Understood, I'll let someone prepare it."

The patriarch opened the curtain and saw that the red sun outside was gradually moving downwards and said, "Why don't you go tomorrow?"

"It's still early! I'll leave in a minute."

Anka got up and came to the new horse and said, "Excuse me."

The patriarch stepped forward to stop him and said: "Your Excellency, even if you have a map, you don't know the specific location on the grassland. Why don't you take some of our young people with you, so that they can see how the people chosen by the saint herself fight."

"All right!"

Then Anka saw the gathered people and found that they were a team of twenty armored cavalry.

The clan leader proudly patted one of them on the shoulder and said, "Sir, these are the strongest warriors of our tribe!"

Anka understood that they were not here to help him but to monitor him, but he didn't care at all and said bluntly: "It's okay to fight against humans, but to deal with that kind of demon, the armor you wear is not as good as the enchanted equipment, no matter how defensive it is."

.”

After hearing these words, those people stepped forward with obvious dissatisfaction and said: "Our sabers once defeated Caldara's cavalry, our bows and arrows once shot down the griffins tamed by Cardes, and our horse hooves once stepped on Caldara for the saint."

Lan’s land.”

"That's the result of the battle with humans. I said that demons are not easy to deal with. Forget it, if you want to follow, I don't care. Just don't affect me at the critical moment."

Upon hearing this, the cavalrymen hummed and followed. After bidding farewell to the clan leader, the cavalrymen all ran to the front like they were having fun.

"Don't run too slow to collect the demon's body."

Anka looked at the cavalrymen riding in front of him and just raised his eyes and slowly followed behind.
