Chapter 150 Seriously Injured and Comatose(1/2)

Chapter 150 Seriously injured and comatose

wangwushan

According to legend, it was the place where Emperor Xuanyuan prayed to heaven, and is also known as Tiantan Mountain.

It borders Taihang in the east, Zhongtiao in the west, Taiyue in the north, and the Yellow River in the south.

Since ancient times, it has been revered by Taoists as the "Pole of Tao Realm" and is called "the place where the gods and immortals gather in the five mountains and four valleys, the ten big caves, and the thirty-six small caves."

Throughout the dynasties, there were Taoists who practiced Taoism and built Taoist temples here.

There are many peaks in Wangwu Mountain, and there are five main peaks. The tallest among them is named Tiantan Peak.

The Temple of Heaven peak is more than 500 feet high, and there is a Xuanyuan Temple on the top of the peak, which has been around for many years.

Xuanyuan Temple is different from other Taoist and Buddhist temples in that it has a simple layout and only one main hall, which is used to worship Xuanyuan and the Yellow Emperor.

There was originally only one old Miao Zhu in the temple. Ten years ago, this Miao Zhu picked up an abandoned baby at the foot of the mountain. Slowly, there was an additional boy in the Xuanyuan Temple.

The place where the old and the young lived was a little below the Xuanyuan Temple, in an old courtyard with several ridges of vegetable fields.

It was April, and there was still a bit of chill in the mountains.

On this day, Lao Miao Zhu woke up the boy early in the morning.

The two of them cleaned the main hall and carefully wiped the statue of Emperor Xuanyuan.

After checking that nothing was missing, Lao Miaozhu took the boy down to the small courtyard to cook.

After the meal, Lao Miaozhu held two cans of something and went up to the platform in front of the hall.

The boy also followed behind with a tea set.

The platform in front of Xuanyuan Temple is not large. There are steep mountain walls on both sides of the southwest side. Only a slightly gentle stone step path on the east side can go up and down the peak.

The local government and nearby squires have been repairing Xuanyuan Temple from time to time, and have also built a stone guardrail around the platform to prevent people from falling.

In the southwest corner of the platform, there is a stone table built against the guardrail, with nineteen horizontal and vertical lines carved on it.

This was built more than ten years ago when an official named Su from Mengzhou came to worship Emperor Xuanyuan.

Before leaving, he left two boxes of chess pieces and a book of atlas in the temple.

From then on, Lao Miaozhu began to explore how to play chess.

Although he was illiterate, he had the atlas to show him, and he slowly got started.

Occasionally, scholars would climb the mountain to worship Xuanyuan. When they saw this chessboard and stone table, they would go to the temple to pray for a few games to enjoy themselves and take a rest.

Some people are satisfied with killing, and they will also point out the old temple to pray.

After more than ten years, Lao Miaozhu actually developed a good chess skill.

At this time, Lao Miaozhu held the unclear black and white chess pieces in his hands and began to entertain himself.

After the boy brewed the tea, he supported his chin with both hands and looked at the pebbles on the table whose colors were hard to distinguish with confusion.

I can't figure out what's so funny about this.

It was almost noon, the temperature was a little higher, and the breeze blew, bringing with it the fragrance of flowers and plants in the mountains.

After playing a few moves of chess, I looked up and saw a mountain full of green, which was so pleasant.

"Old man Mi, do you miss me, Old Fan? Isn't it boring to play chess alone?"

Lao Miao wished that he was immersed in the chess game, but his train of thought was interrupted by a loud shout from the mountainside.

Hearing this, he couldn't help but throw the chess pieces in his hands into the chess box, stretched his head towards the guardrail and shouted:

"Come sooner or later, the old man is about to slay the dragon!"

The visitor was just below the cliff. As soon as Lao Miao Zhucai poked his head around, he saw this weird chess friend.

This person's chess skills are much better than his, but he never dislikes his poor level. After getting to know him well in the past two years, he often gives advice on his chess skills.

"Hahaha, wait for me to come up and kill your dragon!"

The old fan below raised his head with a round face, laughed, waved to the old temple, and walked eastward along the path.

Not long after, we climbed up the stone steps to the top of the mountain from the east.

Lao Miao Zhu looked up and saw the other party's unchanging dress, and shook his head speechlessly.

After all, he is also a man of the world. I have known him for several years and I have never seen him change his clothes!

This old fan has a round face, his right hand is resting on the bamboo basket at his waist, and his left hand is stroking the short, sparse beard at his chin.

Wearing a moon-white middle coat, there are black stripes scattered all over the skirt, forming a plaid pattern.

There is a black robe on the outside, but there is a white plaid pattern on it.

Under the contrast, this outfit looks particularly weird.

"Don't say that I don't want to think about you when I have something good going on. This time, Lao Fan, I brought some good things when I came here. Why not hurry up and make some tea you saved."

Before anyone could sit down, Lao Fan started yelling.

Behind Xuanyuan Temple and on the adjacent cliff to the north, there are two old tea trees.

The local government would send people to pick it every year, but there would always be some residual leaves left, so Lao Miao Zhu saved them and was reluctant to drink them.

When Lao Miaozhu first met Lao Fan two years ago, he didn't know that he was from the Jianghu community.

After the two became familiar with each other through playing chess, they became more casual when talking.

It wasn't until last year that his little boy almost rolled down the steps one day, but was rescued by Lao Fan with a single step, and he didn't know that the other boy had martial arts and was a gangster.

To express his gratitude, he gave some of the tea he had saved to Lao Fan.

But I never expected that this was a strange person!

After so many years of temple worship, Mr. Mi has seen quite a few dignitaries and people in the world, but none of them are like Lao Fan.

Ever since he drank his tea, Lao Fan would come to him every once in a while to get some weird chess records in exchange for tea.

Knowing that he was illiterate, he went out of his way to help him write music scores. After playing the game many times, his chess skills improved a lot.

But all the old tea from previous years has been drunk by Lao Fan. The inventory at home is almost exhausted, and this year's new tea is not ready yet.

Thinking of this, Laomiao Zhu couldn't help but said:

"What kind of chess records did you bring? Let's talk about it first, the old man's inventory is almost gone."

"Hey, are you looking down on me, Lao Fan? I brought you a set of chess pieces today!"

After Lao Fan finished speaking, he patted the bamboo basket on his waist and continued:

"My sixth brother polished this with his own hands. I begged him for a long time to do it."

After saying that, Lao Fan glanced at Laomiao Zhu.

Why don't you serve the good tea quickly?

"Jie'er, go get the clay pot from the cabinet."

"Okay grandpa, Jie'er will go right away."

When Lao Miao Zhu heard that it was a chess piece, his eyes suddenly lit up and he quickly ordered the boy.

This set of chess pieces in the temple has become dilapidated after more than ten years. The black and white chess pieces, which were not obvious at first, are now even more difficult to distinguish between ourselves and the enemy.

"Hahahaha. Come on, how about trying this chess piece!"

Without saying a word, Lao Fan took out the chess pieces from the bamboo basket.

I don’t know what kind of material this chess piece is made of, but it is very clear in black and white, and its color is also very uniform.

"My dear, I'm afraid this isn't for the emperor, right?"

Old Man Mi swallowed his saliva.

"I'm afraid the chess pieces used by the emperor are not as good as mine. Is there anything I can say about my sixth brother's skills?"

As Lao Fan spoke, he divided the chess pieces, then took the white piece and said:

"Stop talking, let's kill two games first!"

At that moment, the two of them stopped talking and started fighting in the distance.

There was a big difference in chess skills between the two sides, and without much effort, Lao Fan was about to slay the dragon.

"His grandma's, what is it?!"

Lao Miao Zhu was frowning and thinking deeply. When he saw Lao Fan standing across from him, he couldn't help but be shocked.

He is the one at a disadvantage, right?

Looking up, he saw Lao Fan pointing in the direction behind him in shock.

Lao Miaozhu then turned around and saw several trees on the mountainside of Yuehua Peak to the west, probably slowly falling down.

Then it brought down many trees below.

"With such great strength, is it a blind bear? How big does it have to be?"
