Chapter 345 Chang'an

Chang'an was called Haojing in ancient times and Xianyang in the Qin Dynasty.

It was not until Emperor Gaozu of Han, Liu Bang, established his capital in Guanzhong, built a city and capital on the former site of Xianyang, and was called Chang'an, which means "long-term governance and long-term stability".

Over the years, whether it is Zhou Haojing, Qin Xianyang, Han Chang'an, or Sui Daxing, at this time, the geographical locations have been slightly different.

There is no city wall in Qin Xianyang, and its main building complex spans the banks of the Feng River from east to west and crosses the Wei River from north to south.

To the north of the Wei River are mainly Jique, Xianyang Palace, Lanchi Palace and the "Six Kingdom Palaces" with their own characteristics; to the south are the "Afang Palace" famous in later generations, as well as Ganquan Palace and Shanglin Garden for the emperor to visit.

Chang'an of the Han Dynasty was located in the northwest of Afang Palace, connected to the Wei River in the north and Feng River in the east, occupying only part of Qin Xianyang.

The city was built in the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu, and there was no outer city wall in the early days. It was not until the reign of Emperor Hui of Han that the city blocks had been established in Chang'an of Han.

After more than 800 years, it went through the Western Han Dynasty, Xin, Eastern Han Dynasty (Dong Zhuo moved westward), Western Jin Dynasty, Former Zhao, Former Qin, Later Qin, Western Wei and Northern Zhou Dynasty nine dynasties. It was not until Yang Jian that the Sui Dynasty Zhou Dynasty asked Yu Wen Kai to build a new Daxing, and Han Chang'an left the stage of history.

Chang'an, which is Daxing City, is located in Longshouyuan, southeast of Chang'an, Han Dynasty.

The Afang Palace was also built here!

A country with thousands of miles of mountains and rivers, and a nine-level gate of the city. If you don’t see the strong capital, how can you know that the emperor is respected?

A collection of cultural relics, the imperial capital of thousands of years!

Xiaojin carried Huang Lin to circle high altitude, and Chang'an City stood like an ancient giant beast on the south bank of the Wei River in the Guanzhong Plain known as the "Eight Hundred Miles of Qinchuan".

The south is Zhongnan Mountain in the middle of the Qinling Mountains. It has mountains and ridges, steep and steep, becoming a natural barrier to the south, with the majestic momentum of "heavy mountains overlook the Wei River, and green peaks penetrate the sky".

In the north, there are Yaoshan, Huanglong Mountain, Chaga Mountain, Liangshan, etc., which form the winding Beishan Mountain system, which is facing the Qinling Mountains.

On the large woyuan demarcated by these mountainous ridges, Chang'an City is located in it. Wei, Jing, Feng, Lao, Hua, Hua, Hua, Hua, and Ba waters are like crystal clear and shining, and the tassels are floating beads, forming a situation where "eight waters surround Chang'an".

These rivers are like bloodlines, which not only provide Chang'an with abundant water sources, but also make Chang'an full of vitality.

"The imperial states in Qin have been around since ancient times." It is precisely because of various strategic and economic favorable conditions that this plain has been favored by group leaders of all dynasties.

From the time when Qin Shihuang created a situation of centralization and unification, to Zhang Qian of the Western Han Dynasty twice, opening up the Silk Road from Chang'an to the Western Regions, and promoting economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West, Chang'an became famous both at home and abroad, and became a link to connect Chinese and foreign civilizations.

In addition, the prosperity is only comparable to the eastern capital Luoyang.

What a coincidence, Luoyang was also built in the Sui Dynasty or in the hands of the same person.

Yuwen Kai, an architectural master who admires Huang Lin very much.

After more than a year of coming to this world, Huang Lin has also seen many large and large cities, such as Xiangyang, Jiujiang, Jiangdu and Jiangling, and smaller cities such as Dangyang, Fancheng, Guangshan and other counties.

The layout of the city is completely incomparable to the cities in the previous worlds. The official offices, houses, markets and other places in the inner world are intertwined, which is very messy.

After arriving in Luoyang, Huang Lin suddenly realized when he saw the Fang Zhenggong's balanced and symmetrical layout.

Therefore, he developed a great interest in the construction of Luoyang.

After some review, Huang Lin found out that Yuwen Kai had almost regulated the layout of the entire Central Plains city with his own strength.

Before he built Daxing City, all the cities and cities of all dynasties in the Central Plains had no rules and no layout. Basically, they built wherever they had time, and even the capital was like this.

It was not until Yuwen Kai built Daxing City that the balanced and symmetrical layout of the city was officially formed.

The capital is even more strict, such as the current three parts: Daxing City, the imperial palace, the imperial city and the residential buildings, with clear boundaries.

The palace city and the imperial city are located in the northern center of the capital. The outer city covers the palace city and the imperial city from the left, right and south. With the Zhuque Street in the middle as the boundary, the east and west belong to the two counties of Chang'an.

The palace city and the imperial city are the residences of the Sui royal family, while the Guocheng is the place where the people live together and have their own layouts.

Thousands of schools are like Go games, and the twelve streets are like vegetable fields.

Daxing (hereinafter referred to as Chang'an) Guocheng has eleven streets from north to south and fourteen streets from east to west, which divide the interior of Guocheng into 109 fangs in an interlaced manner.

The Lifang system established by the Li Tang Dynasty began to emerge here.

The main traffic trunk in Chang'an City is three north-south streets and three east-west streets that run through the city gates. The most spacious one is Zhuque Street, which is as wide as Luoyang Tianjie, which is 40 meters wide. Although the rest are not as wide as Zhuque Street, its scale is also imaginable.

"Let's go, let's go there."

On the back of the eagle, after admiring the Chang'an City like a chessboard from a high altitude, Huang Lin pointed to the direction of Zhongnan Mountain in the southern suburbs and told Xiao Jin. He thought in his heart that he would go to a bird's eye view of Luoyang City when he had time. Such a magnificent city was really exciting.

Xiao Jin was too big and was too eye-catching to take her into the city. Therefore, after Huang Lin landed on the ground, he asked him to go to Zhongnan Mountain.

He had also considered before whether the Dita Peak where Cihang Jingzhai was located was hidden in Zhongnan, but neither Lu Miaozi, Song Que, nor Zhu Yuyan knew where it was. He told Huang Lin with great certainty that the Dita Peak was not in Zhongnan Mountain.

It was because Huang Lin felt relieved that Xiao Jin would go there and wander there himself.

There are three city gates on the south side of Chang'an City, from left to right, are Anhua Gate, Mingde Gate and Qixia Gate.

Entering the city from Mingde Gate in the middle, you will see Zhuque Street, which is 40 meters wide. Although it is not as wide as Luoyang's Tianjie (60 meters), Huang Lin is still shocked by the grand situation of this extraordinary and emperor-dominated capital.

There are drainage ditches on both sides of the street, which are as wide as a small river. Stone bridges are laid at the intersection of the ditches at the intersection, forming a characteristic of Chang'an.

There are locust trees on both sides of the avenue, but it is late autumn at this time, and the dense branches and leaves have already withered and yellow, making the majestic Chang'an City even more bleak.

However, this scene does not harm the prosperity of Chang'an. The streets are full of traffic and pedestrians are like crucian carp. The degree of liveliness is not worse than that of Luoyang.

This time, Huang Lin did not use a carriage to transport it in Luoyang, but used his feet to measure this famous capital that has been passed down from generation to generation.

Whether it is shops or houses on both sides of Zhuque Street, there are tall mansions with magnanimous regulations and many courtyards.

The houses in the alleys are made of green tiles and white walls, built with single-story structures, arranged in a row of streets and alleys, with high walls and deep courtyards, and long alleys. They are very different from the lively streets, quiet and peaceful.

Along the way, the houses on both sides were extremely gorgeous, and the shops were all in great detail, carrying bucket beams and exquisite carvings, or interspersing beams or braces, and the rules were different, which made Huang Lin dazzled and made him decide secretly that he would have to visit Luoyang Tianjie when he had time in the future.

When he first arrived in Luoyang, he took a carriage all the way, but he didn't take a good tour of Tianjie. Now I think it's a pity!

Along the way, I passed Anyi, Baoning, Lanling, and Zhushan, Anmin, and Kaihua. The Zhuque Gate was in sight.

Zhuque Gate is the main gate of the southern part of the imperial city, and there are many Sui soldiers guarding it. At this time, the one who stayed in Chang'an should be Yang Guang's grandson Yang You.

After looking at the majestic imperial city, Huang Lin turned to the Guangming Street in Xingdaofang and headed towards Chunmingmen.

Guangming Street connects the Golden Gate in the west and Chunming Gate in the east. It is one of the main streets that run across the east and west. It is also an iconic street that distinguishes the powerful and wealthy from ordinary people.

Although it is not exactly the case, it is probably the case.

It is because the two Pianfang Districts in the northeast corner and the northwest corner of Chang'an City are close to the imperial city and are adjacent to the east and west cities, so the CBD business districts are all like this.

Go east along Guangdaming Street, pass Pingkangfang, Well, it is the very famous Pingkangfang. After passing Pingkangfang with a group of orioles and swallows, the right side is the metropolitan city, which is commonly known as the East City of the people; the left side is Yirenfang.

After curiously looking at the extremely lively East City and the particularly magnificent building inside, Huang Lin turned around and crossed the street and entered Yirenfang directly through a gate.

The houses in Yirenfang are numerous, with lush forests and bamboos, towering pavilions, and all walks of life are dressed brightly. Obviously, the people living here are either rich or noble.

Fortunately, Wang Tong seems to be well-known here, so Huang Lin asked for someone to lead the way enthusiastically.

When they arrived at a high-gate mansion, the young man leading the way looked at Huang Lin enviously before saying goodbye.

Huang Lin was about to go forward and call the door when the side door opened with a "creak" sound, and Wang Tong's voice came from inside.

"Keming, if you have nothing to do, come to the house to chat with me more often, I'm not going to do it."

Wang Tongzheng and a man dressed in a thirty years old and dressed as a Confucian scholar stepped out of the door. When he raised his eyes, he saw Huang Lin smiling but silent on the steps. His eyes were filled with joy.

"How did you come to Chang'an!"
