Chapter Fifteen: Nightmare

The old man stood hunched behind Su Qin. The child in his arms opened his small mouth and bit him on the waist. His canine teeth were intertwined, and blood was dripping from the sharp teeth.

In pain, he slapped the child down with his hand, leaving a row of deep tooth marks and blood flowing down uncontrollably.

In the blink of an eye, the old man and the child disappeared again, and only the pain in his waist told him that everything was real.

"Damn it, what the hell is going on?" Su Qin couldn't think of any solution.

"You must stop the bleeding quickly, otherwise you will lose too much blood." Su Qin tore off his clothes, bandaged the wound, and mobilized his magic power to compress the wound to a minimum.

There was no light in the dark vision, and Su Qin's heart became more and more irritable. He felt that if he continued like this, he would go crazy first.

There seemed to be a pair of invisible hands controlling everything in the darkness. Endless emptiness and loneliness kept coming toward Su Qin. Tension and fear continued to spread in his heart, and Su Qin began to tremble.

He recalled that when he was a child, his parents were not at home and he was alone in his room.

After the power outage, it was like this. The endless darkness and endless torture cast a shadow on my young self.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for his parents to come back from outside. The moment he opened the door, his parents' warm smiles and warm and generous embraces made Su Qin feel more warm than the sunshine.

Unfortunately, no one can help Su Qin at this moment.

Gradually, Su Qin's spirit became highly tense, like a taut string that would eventually break one day.

From time to time, the sound of someone whispering could be heard in the distance, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, causing Su Qin to constantly mobilize his magic power to alert everything around him.

Soon, he finally couldn't hold on any longer, his consciousness gradually blurred, and his eyes couldn't control themselves from closing. He was too tired.

With a "thud", he fell to the ground and passed out.

As Su Qin passed out, the surrounding scene gradually returned to normal. It was an ordinary country road, nothing special.

Not far away from him, the headphone man also fell to the ground and looked like he wouldn't wake up for a while.

After a while, someone walked up to Su Qin and whispered: "What should we do? He is involved so early and we are not ready yet."

At this time, another person was heard saying: "Don't let him know that we saved him for the time being. Let the dream demon fake it into a dream for him."

"It's too early for him now."

"Okay. Xiao Meng, please help me create a dream for the young man next to me."

As soon as he finished speaking, a vague black shadow appeared on the man's body and penetrated into the bodies of Su Qin and the young man.

After a while, he returned to that person's body again.

The mysterious duo took Su Qin and the headphone man back to the city, dropped them off at the bus stop where they were supposed to go, and left.

Before leaving, the mysterious man seemed to want to touch Su Qin's face. After hesitating, he turned around and left.

"Damn Bai Lian, are you now attacking humans unscrupulously?"

"It will be even worse when they resurrect the Ghost King. Let's go, we will face them sooner or later."

I don't know how long it took.

Su Qin felt a splitting headache, touched his head, and stood up unsteadily.

Some are confused as to why they are here.

"Didn't I take the bus? Why are I here?" My brain was a little confused and I couldn't recall my memory of being on the bus.

"It seems that I fell asleep as soon as I got on the bus? I just remember that I had a long, long nightmare, and it was so uncomfortable." After Su Qin woke up, he only remembered that he found his seat after getting on the bus and fell asleep after a while.

Now, I have no memory of how I got there after that.

Before he could think about it, the phone rang. Su Qin saw that it was over and it was more than an hour late for the scheduled meeting with Lao Wang. He quickly called back and ran over.

When he passed the bus stop, he saw a man wearing headphones, standing up unsteadily while holding on to the platform, looking dazed, as if he had just woken up, and his face looked familiar.

Passing by, Su Qin put all this behind him. He only knew that Lao Wang would go crazy if he didn't get there again.

Panting, he ran to Lao Wang, put his hands on his knees, and said, "It's too late, it's too late."

"Were you picking up girls? Are you here so late?" Lao Wang said.

"Nothing. I fell asleep and was probably too tired. Don't talk about it. Let's do something first."

Lao Wang hummed twice to express his dissatisfaction and nodded.

The place they agreed on was the address where Zhou Qin lived. The place was a bit remote. It was understood that she lived on the fourth floor.

Because of Su Qin's delay, it was half past eleven and most people had already gone to bed, so the community seemed particularly quiet. There was only a little light in one building, which must be some people who are used to sleeping late.

Lao Wang felt a little worried and said, "Do you think the ghost who knocked on the door at night will come?"

"Go up first and squat on the fifth floor. If no one comes for a long time, we will go back."

It turned out that the two wanted to find out whether there was really a ghost knocking on the door at Zhou Qin's house in the middle of the night.

"Is it too late? The ghost has left? Why don't we come back next time?" Lao Wang trembled.

"Are you backing out? Come up." Su Qin glanced at Lao Wang.

The two of them tried not to make any noise, walked up to the fifth floor with low steps, and quietly waited for the knocker to arrive.

"Dong dong dong." A regular knock on the door suddenly sounded, waking up Su Qin who was a little sleepy.

After shaking his head, Su Qin suddenly woke up and tiptoed to a position where he could observe the downstairs. Lao Wang on the side followed him silently.

The two of them held their breath and stretched out their heads to look downstairs.

A man in white clothes stood at the door of Zhou Qin's house, knocking on the door with his right hand.

Su Qin wanted to see the face of the man in white clearly, but he couldn't see the angle, and the man in white didn't turn around. The strange thing is that it was already midnight, and logically speaking, such a noisy knock on the door should be a disturbing thing to a clear dream.

There was something going on, but no one in the family came out, not even to see what was going on.

It can be seen that this man in white has been coming frequently in recent times. Maybe someone came out but was frightened back. Su Qin thought in his heart.

Lao Wang poked Su Qin and made eye contact, meaning what should we do now?

Su Qin took a closer look and determined that the man in white was actually a wandering spirit. He was nothing special and would not pose much of a threat to him.

He stood up, without further hiding his presence, and walked carelessly in front of the ghost in white.

Su Qin's sudden appearance attracted the attention of the ghost in white. He slowly turned his head, with a strange smile on his pale face, and his eyes were turning gurglingly, as if he was thinking about something.

The next second, the ghost in white turned into a white shadow and ran downstairs.

"No, he wants to escape." The moment the ghost in white turned around, Su Qin realized that he was the corpse that the hospital had tried every means to find, and it was actually here.

However, although he was a little surprised, Su Qin still thought of this possibility and immediately chased after him without wasting time.

The white shadow ran faster and faster, and soon escaped from the community. Su Qin followed closely. When he saw that he could not catch up, Su Qin released his magic power and put a mark on the white ghost's body, so that as long as he was within a distance

It's not too far away, Su Qin can feel it.

Immediately, Su Qin stood there. After a while, Lao Wang ran up to Su Qin and said, "I told you next time, before you do anything, say hello." Lao Wang said nothing to Su Qin.

Hands-on behavior expresses dissatisfaction.

"You have to learn to adapt to circumstances." After Su Qin responded, he sensed the direction of the ghost in white and gradually frowned.

The direction the ghost in white fled was actually the second underground floor of the hospital. This was going to be very difficult.

Fortunately, it turns out that Su Qin came here to find out the identity of the knocker, and now things can be put together.

"Old Wang, you said that Zhu Tao became a knocker after his death, but he didn't want to harm anyone. And since he became a ghost, why did he take away his body?"

"Could it be that you don't want to stay in the hospital? After all, it's better to be laid to rest." Lao Wang expressed his opinion.

"No, if that's the case, his brother Zhu Jun can be taken back and he won't disappear until the end. What is his relationship with the ghost on the second floor underground?"

"What kind of relationship can there be? Are they still brothers? Maybe they are ghosts in the same hospital and they are acting out of feelings." Lao Wang felt that Su Qin was making a fuss.

"Brother...brother...I know." Su Qin's eyes suddenly lit up, as if he had figured something out. He called Lao Wang over and whispered a few words in his ear.

Then the two of them separated. It was too late today and they planned to go to the second underground floor tomorrow to find out.

The next night, Su Qin and Lao Wang stood at the door of the hospital again.

Last time, the two of them fled in a hurry, but this time Su Qin was well prepared. At least, he could escape unscathed this time.

After sensing it, Zhu Tao was on the second underground floor and did not leave. Su Qin repeatedly confirmed whether the matter to Lao Wang had been completed. After receiving a positive answer, he was ready to go down.

Instead of taking the elevator, the two of them walked from the corridor to the second underground floor. What was different from the last time they came was that before they went in this time, Su Qin felt as if he had been pricked by needles, and a thick ghostly aura filled the second underground floor.

Layer, Su Qin couldn't help but frown.

With the arrival of Su Qin, the ghost energy seemed to be disturbed, and something gradually woke up from its deep sleep, like a tiger opening its bloody mouth, waiting for the two of them to enter.

As if he already knew that Su Qin and the others would come, Zhu Tao had already stood in the middle of the morgue, watching them from a distance.

He waved and motioned to come over.

Su Qin gave Lao Wang a reassuring look and led him over.

Standing in front of Zhu Tao, Su Qin found that Zhu Tao did not have much resentment on his body. This was consistent with his suspicion, and he became more convinced.

"You are here. In fact, you don't need to get involved. I'm afraid that my brother will attack you if I can't control it. I advise you to leave as soon as possible." Unexpectedly, Zhu Tao calmly advised them to leave here, like

I'm worried about their safety.

"So? Are you admitting that the disappearance of your body is related to your brother? It should be said that the evil ghost here is your brother, right?"

"Yes, as for why, I don't need to explain to you, but if you don't leave, I'm afraid I won't be able to stop him." Zhu Tao said with some pain, as if he was very sad about Zhu Jun's experience.

"Wait a moment. After I finish saying what I need to say, I will leave."
