Chapter Fifty-Six: Sleeping

Monsters and humans on the ice sheet all saw this huge head lowered.

The only difference is that the head that humans saw was bowing in the direction of those monsters.

At that moment, several possibilities popped into their minds in a very short period of time.

Are they a group?

Is this the next round?

Or is the purpose of this monster more simple, just to kill these monsters?

Compared to the confused humans, those infected creatures knew that they definitely did not know this guy.

This monster is definitely friend and foe!

But even so, the monsters' heads were on their faces, and they could swallow them whole with just one mouth opening, but they didn't dare to move.

Godzilla is so intimidating!

Seeing that these infected creatures did not escape, Godzilla would not be polite to them. He opened his mouth and blue beams of light shot out from his mouth.

Naturally, it’s a radioactive ray!

These infected organisms disappear instantly, and death is painless.

After these snarling infected creatures were dead, Godzilla turned his head and looked to the other side.

Although before Godzilla came, these people were divided into two obvious camps.

But in fact, there is still an infected organism lurking on the human side.

At this time, when the infected creature that had not yet been exposed saw Godzilla turning his head and looking over, he subconsciously felt that Godzilla was looking at him.

And it feels right.

So, Godzilla used another radiation ray to send him back to the west.

Since then, all infected creatures have been killed by Godzilla.

And just when Godzilla was about to return to his own world, he suddenly stopped.

Although all infected organisms have been killed, no one can guarantee that those organisms are really dead.

Godzilla suddenly turned around and looked at the few humans who were still alive, startling those humans.

Godzilla suddenly thought that although these humans have not been infected yet, there is no guarantee that there are still some remaining tissues on their bodies.

If that's the case, wouldn't Godzilla's work be in vain?

So, Godzilla killed these people together, and by the way, completely destroyed the surrounding camps.

It was just an ordinary fire. Godzilla was worried that it would not be burned cleanly, but his own radioactive rays reassured the beast.

After doing this, Godzilla dived back under the ice again.

And a wide space has been opened under the ice, and it is planned to build a "monster factory" here.

The mission of this "monster factory" is to produce monsters that hunt and kill infected creatures!

After much thought, this was the safest method Godzilla could think of.

After all, Godzilla wouldn't be worried if he left the world alone.

If infected organisms in other corners of the world get out of control, it will be really troublesome to clean them up.

Godzilla stayed in this world for several months, and did not leave until the "monster factory" was completely mature.

After returning to his own world, Godzilla immediately fell asleep in the temple built for himself by the "engineers".

It will take a long time for his own g cells to metamorphose again.

Of course, Godzilla doesn't know whether the final result can really lead to the evolution of g-cells.

He always had a hunch that the g cells that had evolved many times did not have enough accumulation to evolve again.

But there is no doubt that Godzilla's g-cells have become stronger.

When Godzilla fell into a deep sleep and all the energy was supplied to the transformation of g-cells, the transformation speed of g-cells suddenly accelerated many times!

This time, the G cells acquired the ability to mimic from those infected organisms.

Even without the control of Godzilla, the g-cell itself will instinctively carry out the mimicry that is most beneficial to itself.

For example, when the number is insufficient, it will mimic the appearance of the surrounding environment.

Or it might mimic other creatures that don't pose a threat and get by.

Of course, there is also the possibility of pretending to be dead!

These characteristics are undoubtedly more complex than the ability of infected organisms to mimic the cells of other organisms.

But this is not surprising. G cells themselves are very magical, not to mention that they have evolved many times.

After transforming again, more powerful abilities evolved from the original foundation. These are just basic abilities.

Not long after Godzilla fell into a deep sleep, most of the "vigilantes" who originally gathered at the "Monster Factory" gathered around Godzilla.

When Godzilla is sleeping, they are a barrier that protects Godzilla.

Although Godzilla himself doesn't need protection.

In the past, when Godzilla was sleeping, his body did not change much. At most, his body grew a little.

Unless Godzilla actively adjusts his body, Godzilla's body will not change much.

But this time, Godzilla's body has undergone obvious changes.

Although the body shape has not changed in any way, the surface of the body has undergone earth-shaking changes.

First of all, Godzilla's original ugly wrinkled skin gradually disappeared, replaced by this layer of folded scales, densely arranged on everything, looking very layered.

This layer of scales not only provides good defense capabilities, but most importantly, it can better cooperate with the mimicry ability of G cells to camouflage Godzilla.

And this kind of camouflage is much better than the color camouflage of a chameleon.

These scales can directly make Godzilla blend into the surrounding environment, making the slightest difference indistinguishable.

After all, from the mimicry at the cellular level, the scales have changed directly from the inside out. It is strange that it can be noticed by the naked eye.

Not only the naked eye, but also other methods may not be effective.

If there was a flaw, it would be the high-temperature red light seeping out from under the scales.

That’s the high temperature of a fusion reactor!

When Godzilla woke up, he saw a completely different version of himself.

It has to be said that with the wrinkled skin gone, Godzilla no longer looks ugly and becomes more powerful.

But the deterrent effect seems to be smaller.

After all, skin full of wrinkles looks more permeable than a suit of scales, making it more likely to make people feel frightened.

But Godzilla didn't need this kind of fear, so he didn't care.

When Godzilla wakes up, it means that all the G cells in the body have completed their transformation.

The high-temperature red light under the scales also gradually converged.

Fusion reactors, which have been providing energy to cells throughout the body, generate large amounts of high temperatures.

As the energy supply stops, the energy gradually becomes restrained, and those red lights gradually disappear.

From the original state where it looked like it was about to pierce the scales and look like it was about to explode, it changed to the state where it looked like a lamp was shining out from the inside.

Looking at it this way, the red light seems... still very obvious.
