Chapter 1192: Simba's Choice(1/2)

Chapter 1193 The Game World (Part 1)

With Gongsei's help, Severus finally recited the spell correctly, and then something magical happened.

A Mamluk sword appeared on the floor of the Louvre.

"Why is it a sword?" Severus asked Gong Saiyi. "Shouldn't it be a record board?"

"I think at this moment, you need force more than anything else." A teenager said in an old-fashioned tone. "My stepfather told me that there is no place where he feels more free from the shackles of civilization than Egypt."

Severus and Gongsei looked at the young man who appeared out of thin air. He had dark chestnut hair, wore clothes full of lace and embroidery from the nobility of the old era, and wore a gorgeous collar of the Legion of Glory around his neck. He looked like

Like a palace boy.

"Eugène de Beauharnais," Gongséil murmured.

The young man Eugène laughed, "We met at the Tuileries Palace, but we didn't introduce myself. How did you recognize me?"

"I have seen your portrait." Gong Saiyi said, "But you were a little older at that time than you are now."

"When my stepfather and mother met, I was as old as I look now." Ou Ren walked slowly in front of the two of them with his hands behind his back. "I was 17 years old at the time."

"Napoleon and Josephine met because Eugene wanted to return his biological father's sword..."

"I know." Severus interrupted Gongsei impatiently. "I need to know where the next statue is, do you know?"

"Of course I can tell you." Ou Ren bowed gracefully, "You have already sworn an oath."

"Does he understand English?" Severus asked Gongsei.

"It seems so," Gongseyi said.

"I can still speak a little bit," Eugene said in English with a slight French accent. "Although God made us speak different languages, we can't communicate."

"Then what did you just say?" Severus asked.

"I can tell you where the rest of the crocodiles are because you have sworn an oath," Eugene said in English.

"Does this mean I have to be an upright and just man for the rest of my life?" Severus asked.

Eugène turned sideways as if listening to a whisper.

"The contract stipulates that you must remain upright and impartial during the chess game." Eugene said.

"Why you?" Severus looked at Eugene. "It seems that you are not the only general under Napoleon."

"Do you know why? French." Eugene asked Gong Saiyi.

Gong Saiyi was speechless and speechless.

"My stepfather left many things to the King of Rome." Eugene said with some disappointment, "including his silver-plated sword, the consul's sword, and his steel sword, but he left his Mamluk sword and silver candlestick.

He killed me because I accompanied him to Egypt."

"Do you love your stepfather?" Severus asked Eugene.

"Love is a powerful word, wizard. I thought you were a person who doesn't talk about love easily." Ou Ren bent down and picked up the Mamluk sword. "Let's go."

"I know that you manage Napoleon's property in Italy." Severus followed Eugène and asked, "But since when did you also know how to use a sword, Prince?"

Eugene unsheathed his sword without any warning, and Severus quickly dodged and avoided the sharp blade that was aimed at his neck.

"Why do you ask such a stupid question, wizard." The young man Eugene smiled sarcastically, "You actually question whether a soldier can use weapons."

"You don't look like a soldier dressed like this." Severus touched his cheek, and a little blood flowed from the wound.

"Your reaction speed doesn't look like a real wizard." Ou Ren put down his sword. "Maybe it's because you spend so much energy on exercising that you don't allow the nutrition of knowledge to enter your brain."

Severus sneered, "Do you think wizards should be as clumsy as wood? Or should they be senile and have one leg already in the coffin?"

"Calm down, gentlemen." Gong Saiyi said to the two "people", "Don't forget our mission."

"I know why you asked that question just now." Eugene looked at Severus not to be outdone. "It is much easier to be a selfish person than to be an upright and just person. You don't want to be like yours."

Teachers have the same tiring life, right?"

"I wonder who you're talking about?" Severus said calmly.

"Of course you know who I'm talking about." Ou Ren looked at Gong Saiyi, "You just don't want him to know your real name."

Gong Saiyi looked at them calmly.

"He failed so many times before because he didn't add his name. Then he reported his real name while you were not paying attention, and then he succeeded." Ou Ren sneered and said, "He doesn't believe you."

"We just met today." Gong Saiyi said, "Even love at first sight is not that fast."

"Should I tell him your real name, Professor?" Eugene asked Severus.

"You don't like me." Severus smiled and said, "Why?"

Eugene didn't answer him.

"Is it because the British allowed Napoleon to defeat Waterloo?" Severus showed his yellow teeth.

"Victory and defeat are common. What I hate is your newspaper. Malicious slander is not a gentleman's behavior."

Severus raised an eyebrow.

"Do you still expect British newspapers to say good things about people who intend to invade Britain?"

Eugene communicated with Gongsai in French again.

"What did he say?" Severus asked.

"He asked me, do you want to work for the British?" Gong Saiyi said with a strange expression.

"I remember that Napoleon was not French either." Severus said, "Does he betray the Corsican people by becoming the Emperor of France?"

"Let's go." Ou Ren returned the sword to its sheath, "Let's end this pain as soon as possible."

"French." After Eugène turned around, Severus gritted his teeth and said at his back.

Gong Saiyi awkwardly walked at the back and left the exhibition hall.

Perhaps because the half-Veela's dance entertained Hathor, she summoned a golden basin. It looked like a mirror, reflecting people's figures clearly.

The golden basin was slowly filled with water. When Hathor touched the water with his fingertips, ripples spread out and the figures of three people appeared in it.

"Why would Prince Eugene become your servant?" Pomona asked Hathor.

"The Black Death was spreading in Napoleon's army at that time," Hathor said. "He didn't want to die so young."

"I think there are many soldiers who don't want to die so young. Why is he special?"

"Let me think about it... because I think it's very interesting." Hathor pointed his chin with his fingertips and said without conscience, "I want to know how he looked at his respected stepfather because he learned that his mother had had an affair.

What would be the reaction to becoming less dedicated?”

Pomona temporarily lost the ability to speak.

"When Napoleon went on an expedition to Egypt, Eugene was his adjutant. When little Cleopatra appeared, he had to accompany her in the carriage. Everyone would find it embarrassing, so he asked for leave."

"What?" Pomona asked confused.

"Napoleon was a passionate man, and sometimes he would do some very intimate things on the carriage..."

"Stop," Pomona whined, interrupting Cupid's gossip.

"What is there to be ashamed of? Haven't you done it yourself?" Hathor's fingertips touched the water again, and the scene inside changed again.

It was on a sightseeing carriage in London, and the protagonist was herself.

"Oh, Merlin~~~" Pomona wailed and stamped her feet, trying to find a crack in the ground to burrow into.

"Napoleon wanted to fight back. He not only found a mistress, but also told her son all the scandals about Josephine. He hurt Eugène." Hathor said with some sympathy, "He was still a child at the time."

"I never did that!" Pomona said.

"You don't have it now." Hathor touched the water again, "But do you want to know the future?"

Pomona turned her head before the ripples returned to calm.

"Why don't you dare to watch it?" Hathor smiled teasingly.

"Are you punishing me?" Pomona asked tremblingly, holding her elbows.

"Only sinners will be punished. Do you think you are guilty?" Hathor asked.

Pomona had many thoughts in her mind.

"After returning to Paris, everyone was urging my 'Lion' to divorce Josephine, except for Eugène, who begged Napoleon like a child who doesn't want his parents to divorce. Plus Josephine kept crying outside the door. He

He relented." Hathor sighed in a low voice. "Napoleon opened the door for her and let her in. Do you know what Napoleon's other dream was besides becoming Augustus?"

"No." Pomona said harshly.

"He wants to be a father who can provide for the whole family. He feels that this is his responsibility and honor. Do you think this dream is more realistic than 'for the French people'?"

"If there is no France," Pomona said habitually, her mind went blank, as if she had lost the ability to think, "then his home will be gone too."

"That's right." Hathor walked towards Pomona gracefully, the flax rustling with her footsteps. "Does this remind you of anyone?"
