Chapter 2588 Cheese Trap Twenty-Four(1/2)

Chapter 2590 Cheese Trap (Twenty Six)

Pomona came to the Slytherin cellar holding a large bundle of mint.

The students were all on vacation, so she had to do it herself. The midsummer sunshine filtered through the lake water and shone in from the windows that could never be opened, turning it into a green color similar to the one she had picked mint in the medicine garden before.

The hot sunshine is completely different.

Although it is cool, it is too dark, so even in broad daylight, magic lanterns must be lit.

"Severus!" she yelled, her voice echoing in the Great Potions Classroom.

"It's a bad idea if you go out at this time." Pomona continued. "Don't think that when the trial is over, everything is over!"

Still no one answered, so she put down the herbs and went to the gargoyle in the corner of the classroom to wash her hands. Then out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a luminous object hovering around her.

She turned around and looked over, and found that it was actually a firefly. After flying around the classroom for a while, it probably felt tired of flying, so it landed on the desk and continued to shine brightly.

"How did you get here?" Pomona asked Firefly, and of course Firefly wouldn't answer her.

But she soon discovered that there was more than one firefly in the classroom. She followed their flight path, bypassing the glass jars placed along the wall, and came to a small room behind the Potions classroom, where there was a storage room.

The cabinet was moved away, revealing a bottomless hole from which the fireflies flew out.

"I knew it." She muttered, raised her wand, used fluorescent light, and walked in.

Even though Snape is not as adventurous as the Hijacker, he is still very curious, and many people are looking for Salazar Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

After a while she came to a large room with no windows but many fireplaces, or grate rooms.

The situation inside could be seen at a glance, unless Snape used a charm to hide himself.

"Severus." She shouted boldly, her voice echoing even louder in this closed space.

"Come here." She heard his deep voice, but she couldn't tell which direction it was.

"Where are you?"

"This way!" he said impatiently.

Pomona immediately ran over and pushed open the door.

This is a room full of fireflies. It may be that the underground of the castle is too humid to give these insects that need clean water a place to live. They are shining everywhere on the walls and ceiling, and they look like

The Milky Way in midsummer.

"How did you find this place?" she sighed.

"I followed Firefly." He pointed the wand at her, "What about you?"

"Same as you." She looked up at the ceiling, "It's so spectacular."

"You know, there are caves like this in nature." Severus said, "I remember there is one in Australia."

"I don't want to go all the way to Australia just to see this," Pomona said.

"You don't think it's worth it?" Severus asked.

"It's too far, not to mention that I already have this. I can come and see it anytime I want to see it in the future," Pomona said.

"What if I didn't find it?" Severus frowned.

"I'll just pretend it doesn't exist. Let's go. I brought the mint you asked for, and it's still fresh."

He seemed to be obsessed with this room, or wanted to continue exploring it.

Pomona grabbed his hand and dragged him away.

Albus placed a glass on the desk, raised his slender fingers slightly, and a glass bottle suddenly appeared in his hand.

"How much?" Albus asked.

"Two fingers." Pomona said, looking at the decoration of the principal's room. It seemed that except for the jingling silverware, nothing here had changed. It was still the same as when she was studying.

At this time, she noticed the pensieve. It had not been stored in the locker, and it still glowed with silver.

"Why don't you put it away?" Pomona asked the old Gryffindor. "Or do you miss the boys' common room?"

Albus smiled and handed Pomona a glass of wine.

"Can you tell me how you plan to make those hedges move?" Albus asked.

"I have no intention of letting them move. You see, although the Whomping Willow can move, its roots are deeply rooted in the ground and cannot move. It is precisely because of this that it is suitable to be the guardian of the secret passage." Bo.

Mona said.

"Then what's your plan?" Albus asked.

"Teleport, just like what the house elves do every year at the banquet, teleporting the tree weed and the soil where it is rooted to an empty area." Pomona answered.

"You want house elves to enter the maze?" Albus asked.

"No, I plan to use floo powder." Pomona replied. "The key is to establish a connection, not necessarily a fireplace."

"How are you going to restore the Quidditch pitches?" Albus asked. "Dig them all out?"

"Are you opposed to this idea?" Pomona asked.

"Can I ask how much floo powder you need?" Albus asked.

"I won't go to Floo Pone and buy the general-purpose Floo powder. I know there is a Floo powder dealer. The Floo powder they sell has different effects than the Floo powder produced by Floo Peng.

"

"I know who you are talking about. It is a company run by Wildsmith's. Do you know why Floo Powder was invented by Mrs. Wildsmith, but Floopone is not run by her descendants?"

Pomona didn't answer.

"Even if it's just two Silvers, if you gather a small number to make a big one, you can still make a lot of money. You may know that the population of wizards is not as large as that of Muggles, so it is impossible to establish a tax system, but..."

"The Ministry of Magic uses floopon income to pay employees' salaries." Pomona said, "But the money is far from enough."

"Don't forget there are 'investors' like Lucius Malfoy. Sometimes, some ministers are not so willing to listen to their opinions, but they are worried that the department will not function, so they find another way."

"Will the Wildsmith family agree?" Pomona asked.

"They enjoy a lot of privileges, including being able to open a formal company and sell Floo powder that is better than Floo powder. It is illegal for others to use it." Albus said, "What do you think of the Smith family?"

"

Pomona kept smiling.

"Do you believe they are descendants of Helga Hufflepuff?" continued Albus.

Pomona was still smiling.

"I hope you can go to the party held at their house." Albus said. "If you feel uncomfortable alone, you can bring Cedric with you."

"Why do I have to go!" she said excitedly.

"Come here." Albus brought her to the Pensieve gently, yet forcefully. "This is a memory I got from a dying house elf."

"Do I have to see it?" Pomona struggled.

"I think this matter is very important." Albus looked at her seriously.

She looked at the eyes behind the half-moon eyes, and finally immersed her face into the pensieve.

She came to a magnificently decorated "Room of Requirement", but there were many antiques in this room, while in the Room of Requirement there were some old things that "may be useful in the future" that she wanted to throw away but couldn't bear to throw away.

There are two people in this room, one is a fat woman in a pink dress, she looks like melted cheese, and sitting next to her is the handsome Tom Riddle, he is older than the Riddle in the diary

As I age, my hair has grown longer, and my eyes have a chilling red light.

"He is now a clerk at Borgin Bock." Albus said beside Pomona. "The person he was talking to is called Herbarts Smith, and he is the owner of this house elf."

"Why……"

"She's dead," Albus said. "It was her house elf Hooch who killed her. She was too old and couldn't tell the difference between sugar and poison."

"What does he want?" Pomona asked.

"At first, it was goblin armor." Albus said. "Later, you see."

I saw Herbarts Smith taking out two things, one was a gold cup and the other was a locket with a snake logo.

Pomona could see a moment of greed clearly appearing in Tom Riddle's eyes, which turned his handsome face into a ferocious one, while Herbarts Smith clearly noticed it and woke up from his "smirk".

"What does he want these for?" Pomona asked.

"I don't know, that's why I asked you to go to the party, whether those two things were given to the Smith family as inheritance, or whether they know their whereabouts." Albus said, "If the Smith family is really the Heirloom family,

If they are the heirs of Elgar Hufflepuff, they will definitely want Hufflepuff’s golden cup.”

"I understand, Principal."

"Let's go." Albus held Pomona's hand and led her away from the pensieve as if she were apparating.
