Chapter 2791 The Sun in the Water III

Chapter 2793 The Sun in the Water (5)

"cheers."

The routine welcoming party for the new school year started again in the Hufflepuff Lounge. Accompanied by the weird witch music, the children were "dancing", if it must be called a dance.

Phoebe looked good, and many people greeted her. There were many people around Nymphadora Tonks. Even in the magical world, disguised Animagus is still very rare, and people gathered around her.

Transformation. Tonks graciously agreed, and her performance added a lot of laughter to the party.

Tonks is the daughter of Ted Tonks and Andromeda Black. Unlike Sirius Black, Andromeda was assigned to Slytherin House. I don’t know when Andromeda came from a pure-blood family.

Andromeda fell in love with Ted, who came from a Muggle family. Andromeda even defected from the family and married Ted instead of choosing a family marriage partner.

This is shocking enough, Pomona thought, and left the lounge after drinking the last bit of shriveled fig juice in the glass.

When the door to the lounge was closed behind Pomona, the noise and music inside were cut off, and the corridor was silent.

This kind of silence is different from the silence last year. There is no uneasiness and panic. The smell of food wafts out from the kitchen, and the air is filled with a sweet smell and the slightly sour smell of fruit.

"...I'm still afraid of those oil paintings..."

Just as Pomona was about to walk to her office, she heard a girl's voice coming from the end of the corridor.

"I'm here, you're not alone." A boy said. Pomona squinted her eyes and saw carefully that the boy seemed to be a Gryffindor.

"I will protect you." The Gryffindor boy continued, as confidently as any man who is not afraid of thunder.

But the Hufflepuff girl believed him and looked up at him with tearful eyes.

It would be immoral to continue reading. Pomona turned around and left. She just hoped that the girl would remember the professor's reminder not to go to a deserted place with a boy. She was just sending her girlfriend back to the dormitory, no big deal.

When she turned into the dark corridor, Dumbledore's office "appeared" in front of her eyes. Fawkes, the phoenix, let out a soft, melodious cry. The portraits of the previous principals were snoring in the picture frame, and the pensieve was taken away again.

Coming out, Dumbledore took a crystal bottle and poured the silver-white memories inside.

She approached the stone basin and sank her face into the water. After experiencing the familiar feeling of falling into the void, she came to Slughorn's office. Young Slughorn already had a bright head on his head.

, his bald spot was as big as Jin Gallon, and his figure was not as round as it is now, but the gold buttons of the embroidered vest were already very tight. Six or seven boys were sitting around him. He had just put the boy who could follow the conversation.

Whether the content is pleasant or not, the hourglass that changes the flow rate of sand is turned upside down.

"This is the most important memory I have collected." Dumbledore said behind her. "Take a good look at it."

"Sir, is Professor Dorothy retiring?" asked a handsome boy, and Pomona immediately recognized him as the mysterious man.

"Tom, I know I can't tell you." Slughorn said to him reproachfully, but the reproachful tone did not sound sullen. The old slug was drinking while choosing from a box of pineapple preserves.

It feels very relaxing.

"I have to say, I wonder where you got your information from, kid. You know more than half the faculty. Thank you for the pineapple, by the way. How did you know it was my favorite?"

"Intuition," Tom said with a smile, and several other boys snickered.

They chatted about other topics until the small alarm clock rang 11 o'clock. No matter how slowly the hourglass passed, normal time was still proceeding in an orderly manner.

"Jesus, is it already this time?" said Slughorn. "It's time to go, kids, or Professor Dibby will lock you up."

The boys stood up from their chairs and filed out, but only Tom lagged behind. It was obvious that he was dawdling in the hope of being left alone in the room with Slughorn.

Slughorn didn't notice this, he flicked the hourglass lightly, and the glass made a crisp sound.

"Go back, Tom." Slughorn finally discovered that Tom had not left, but still did not blame him, but coaxed him in a doting tone, "The lights are about to go out, be careful of getting caught."

"Sir, I want to ask you something." Tom said, "I can't find anyone to talk to. Those other professors are different from you. They... always misunderstand me."

"Go on." Slughorn took a sip of wine.

"A few nights ago, in the restricted section of the library, I found a book written about a rare magic. I remember that magic was called...horcruxes."

A strange thing happened, the whole room was shrouded in thick white fog, and Slughorn's voice sounded loudly in the room.

"I know nothing about Horcruxes, and even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you! Get out now and don't let me hear you mention this again!"

"That's it." Dumbledore said calmly from the side, "It's time to go."

Pomona felt himself flying up, and returned to the cellar corridor a few seconds later.

Standing in front of her was a dark man. His robe almost blended into the darkness, especially his eyes, which were like two dark corridors with no one in them.

Albus told her not to be deceived by a man's tenderness, he was always so full of wisdom.

"After the competition, Slughorn and Dumbledore went next door." Snape put down his wand. "They chatted for a while. I guess it was something important. Horace was very excited. Dumbledore

'Soothed' him."

"If you want to know what they talked about, you can ask yourself." Pomona lowered his head and wanted to get around him.

He stretched out his hand and blocked her way.

"I deserve to know the truth." Snape said in a tone that was almost a growl. "He used me."

"And you got what you wanted." Pomona said calmly. "Congratulations, Professor."

He seemed to be irritated and squeezed her arm hard.

But he quickly controlled his emotions and let go of his hand.

"At least we know why Slughorn was so emotional and what Dumbledore took from him," he said in a low voice.

Pomona didn't like "us," but she didn't correct him.

"No wonder he goes to so much trouble." Snape sneered. "It's just a threat. Slughorn will not hand over his memories. This is a very dishonorable thing, because Slughorn is not only

He is the teacher of the Dark Lord, and unlike others, he has revealed secrets that should not be revealed."

"Can I leave?" Pomona asked in a low voice.

"I told you, when you talk to someone, look into their eyes." He said in a tight tone, "Look at me."

She hesitated for a moment and slowly raised her head.

Since none of them are flashing with fluorescent light, the surroundings are pitch black, which allows every tiny bit of light to be seen, like the dimmest stars in the Lynx constellation.

Or it may be a Poisson point. It may be that the observer is too dim to see the tiny light spots in the dark, or he may be selectively blind.

Freud wrote about a case where a young man confided to him that his wife was not very beautiful, but in his opinion, she made him happy, so she was attractive, but she would do the same

Things that make others happy would make him very painful every time he thought about it, and he had never had a good night's sleep since then.

After Freud understood that the young wife had not betrayed him, it turned out that the young man was jealous of someone who did not exist.

So Freud wrote: He is the guardian of his wife's unconscious behavior.

Among the many strong human emotions, none are more fascinating and bewitching than love and jealousy.

Stargazers call them evil eyes, just like the eyes of the fallen angel Sariel. All creatures seen by these eyes will lose their mobility, as if they were "petrified".

When a person loses sight, other senses become more acute. She smelled the sweet aroma of mint leaves, sage and fruit.

This was the taste of her first kiss, much better than garlic.
