Chapter 80: The Wooden Man (5)

 Chapter 2847 "Wooden Man" (7)

Because Zygmunt Bach wrote in the Potions Book that the juice of shriveled figs must be obtained, a fig tree was planted at Hogwarts.

This is mainly to deal with the nitpicking of potion masters. After all, neither imported nor processed fig fruits are "fresh".

Because it is not as rare as Yuxinmei, there are still leftover figs after the harvest every year to be distributed to the kitchen and to those who participated in the harvest.

"Thank you." Lily took the fig Pomona handed her and peeled off the fig's skin out of habit.

"This one only eats juice," Pomona said.

Lily said "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".

"I think it would be nice if it had pulp." Lily said as she nodded, "You should try it too, Gorgon."

Pomona took the "fruit" handed over by Lily and found that it was really delicious even with the pulp.

"Why didn't I catch it earlier?" Pomona muttered, taking another bite of the fig.

"This is how Muggles eat it, and what you eat is how wizards eat it." Lily said, then looked at Sif, "Why don't you eat it?"

Severus, who was still wearing a Slytherin school robe, frowned arrogantly, seemingly lost in thought, and didn't even notice that Lily had eaten his share of figs.

"Oh, how could you do this?" Pomona lowered her voice and scolded Lily.

Lily didn't care at all and said, "Let's pick a few more."

Pomona looked at the trees full of figs and felt that picking two more would have no impact, so she and Lily left, leaving Severus alone and thinking.

"Idiot." Lily said looking at Sif.

"James Potter is a nerd, too," Pomona said. "Quidditch nerd."

"Where's Sirius Black?" Lily asked.

Pomona thought for a moment, "He's a prankster."

Lily laughed.

Pomona laughed too.

Although looking back now, the way they looked at each other and smiled looked very silly.

Pomona took a sip of the canyon water, and her consciousness went from the Hogwarts Greenhouse to the Leaky Cauldron, where Slughorn often appeared and talked loudly after his retirement.

"That's it, she crushed the sleepy bean." Slughorn said while gesturing to the people around him. "I said to her, 'Merlin's beard, who taught you to do that?' and then Lily replied, 'It's mine.

'A friend', I guess that's her humble way of saying it, she was always very humble, and even though she was very talented in potions, she was the only student that day to complete the Water of Life and Death."

"To Lily." An old wizard said, raising the wine glass in his hand.

"And Harry Potter," said the other witch.

Then a group of people drank all the wine in the glasses.

Slughorn drank another glass of wine for free, even though with the pension given to him by Hogwarts, he had no worries about food and clothing.

But if he continues to study potions, he may have a problem with his cash flow. After all, he can't have everyone provide him with all the materials he wants like in school.

"Why don't you sell cocktails, Tom?" Pomona said to the owner and bartender of the Leaky Cauldron.

Tom wiped the bar table coldly, not chatting with the customers like other bartenders.

Pomona didn't take it seriously and continued to drink his own canyon water.

When she put down the cup, she couldn't help but sigh.

Before coming to the Leaky Cauldron, they went to Godric's Hollow. Even though it had been more than half a year since the statue was unveiled, no one came to express their condolences to the Potter family. When Severus stood next to the statue, he

There is a retired Auror.

He recognized Snape, but was not as hostile to Snape as some people were.

"Young man," he called Snape, as if he was not a heinous criminal but a young man who had gone astray.

"You are so lucky to live until peace comes." The old Auror said, "Cherish it."

But Snape didn't like the tone of the old Auror, so he didn't stay by the sculpture for long, but turned around and went to the cemetery.

Pomona felt that he might want to be alone with Lily for a while, so she did not follow him.

She chatted with the old Auror about the Lily carved by the sculptor, which looked nothing like the Lily Pomona knew.

"Many people have a different impression than the impression he gave us." The old Auror said, "I thought Sirius Black was an outlier in the Black family, but Connery Fudge saw him laughing wildly in the ruins of the Potter family that day."

Pomona couldn't believe what he heard, but the old Auror said that he heard it with his own ears. At that time, Fudge was the deputy director of the Disasters Department of the Ministry of Magic. He stood as a witness between the Wizengamot and the Department of Magic.

In front of Barty Crouch.

Pomona took another sip of canyon water. She didn't know whether to believe Sirius Black's character or the testimony of the witness. After all, Fudge and Sirius had no grudges, so why would he lie?

"Would you like another drink?"

Pomona looked up and realized it was not Tom who asked the question.

"Have you finished buying what you wanted to buy?" Pomona asked.

Severus smiled at her, and the two walked to the fireplace in the Leaky Cauldron, using the public fireplace to return to Hogsmeade.

Marquez wrote this passage in "One Hundred Years of Solitude": The brilliance you once had in your life turns out to be repaid with loneliness.

She didn't witness Severus standing in front of Lily's grave, but she could imagine it. It was probably like the Five of Cups. A man in a black cloak stood by the river mourning the people on the other side of the river. This card represented

There is nothing you can do about what you have lost.

It gives people a very depressing feeling, just like Snape wearing all black clothes now...

"What are you laughing at?" Pomona frowned.

"You will find out soon enough," he said mysteriously, walking towards the castle.

Pomona was suspicious of him for a moment, but it wasn't until they arrived at the castle that they realized something was wrong.

Bill reported that the principal, Minerva, Barnaby, Ben and Professor Carter were missing. He suspected that Professor Carter had held Barnaby and Ben hostage.

"Ben Cooper and I were in the same dormitory during this time, and Professor Carter kept asking him about the treasure map." Bill said to everyone, "It is speculated that there may be a goblin treasure buried in that place."

If Bill hadn't mentioned it, Pomona would have forgotten about the map.

"Does any of you know where that place is?" Pomona asked the crowd.

Bill and Charlie both shook their heads.

Pomona looked at Severus "You know what?"

Severus looked at Minerva and Dumbledore, their eyes seemed to be communicating silently.

Sometimes it's like this, they have everything planned, but they forget the most important thing.

"That map has always been in Liz's hands. I'm going to find her," Pomona said.

"I'll go with you," Severus said.

Fortunately, Liz didn't go far. She was packing her luggage in the dormitory, preparing to go home after the Hogwarts Express arrived.

Because of the expanded shoulder bag, she basically took away all the things she had lived in school for the past six years, leaving only a few necessities in her dormitory.

Pomona was a little sad to see her empty bed, and soon after, Liz dug out the map from a pile of items.

Another half hour passed after such a delay. When she arrived at the door of the auditorium, she remembered that she didn't bring her broomstick.

"Don't go back and get it." Severus said impatiently, and it was obvious that he was really annoyed.

He used the Death Eater flying technique, turned into a black smoke and enveloped her, and then soared into the sky.

Fortunately it was at night.

She thought a little thankfully.

At the same time, I hope everything is still in time.
