Chapter 2878 The Unforgivable Secret (15)

Chapter 2880 The Lion of Freedom (2)

Pomona bought a copy of "The Quibbler" at the Dewesbans Magical Equipment Store. It is said that this magazine reported on Sirius Black's testimony. The magazine came with a pair of glasses, which were said to be able to see nymphs.

falcon.

"If you take it with you, I won't be with you," Severus threatened.

Those glasses reminded Pomona of an owl.

"Don't worry, I won't wear them." Pomona said, putting the glasses into his pocket.

He walked towards the Pig's Head Bar with a serious face.

Pomona imagined the old Bat wearing those glasses. If he didn't buy this magazine, how would he know that someone was testifying for Sirius Black?

When he opened the door, the Pig's Head Bar was still the same, dark and dirty, full of suspicious customers.

Priya Moore appeared here like a lamb in the wrong place. They came and sat down opposite Priya, and she looked at them both in panic.

"What do you want?" Aberforth asked impatiently.

"Two glasses of firewhiskey, thank you." Pomona said.

Aberforth looked at Priya again. The cup in front of her was almost bottomed.

"Would you like another drink?" Aberforth asked Priya.

"Yes, thank you." Priya replied.

Severus looked at her and suddenly laughed.

Pomona tugged on his sleeve. His smile just now made people feel very impolite.

Aberforth glanced at them and returned behind the bar.

"If it weren't for the fact that there is no water here, I wouldn't want to drink." Priya said with a frown. "But the bar owner said you have to drink something or leave... so I ordered mead."

"It's off hours, so of course you can drink whatever you want," Pomona said.

"Last time it was time to get off work," Priya said, "and I lost my key."

"And you're almost off work forever." Severus drawled. "What do you want to tell us?"

At this time, Aberforth brought them the wine they asked for, and then walked away expressionlessly.

"I went to the memory clinic, and I think I found a little clue." Priya put a small jar on the table. "That was the ingredient we added when we drank that day."

Severus took it in his hand and looked at it, then looked at Puglia.

"You added its juice directly to the wine?"

"It wasn't me, it was the bartender. He said it was for the holiday spirit. My colleague's birthday is almost Christmas," Priya said.

"What is this?" Pomona took the small jar in his hand.

"Sleepy Bean, drinking its squeezed juice directly will remove people's memories." Severus said coldly.

Pomona thought it looked like an enlarged mistletoe berry.

"Are you the only one with amnesia?" Severus asked.

Priya shook her head, "No one cares what happened that day, just treat it as an ordinary party."

"Merlin," Pomona whispered.

"And you happen to have lost your memory of the key," Severus said and asked.

Priya nodded.

The situation was a strange coincidence, as if it were the result of a series of careless events.

"Where's the bartender that day?" Pomona asked.

"Tom hired him temporarily because he didn't sell cocktails there," Priya said.

"What do you want us to do?" Severus said.

"If my memory is caused by sleepy bean juice, is there any way you can help me detoxify it? Maybe I will remember it," Priya said.

"What did the doctor say?" Pomona asked.

"Okay." Severus said crisply, "Let's get out of here first."

Before Pomona could react, he had already stood up. Priya hesitated and followed suit.

She looked at the untouched wine on the table, placed a gold galleon on the table, and then followed them away.

After leaving the bar, Severus blocked Puglia's way just like he had blocked Pomona.

"What will you give us in exchange?" Severus said.

"Come with me." Priya said, grabbing Severus with one hand, then Pomona with the other, and then she apparated away with the two of them.

Almost in the next second, they arrived near the North Ford Swamp Fortress they had visited last time. It was demolished very quickly, leaving only one floor.

There was a well not far from them. Last time Pomona saw a bronze frog at the bottom of the well. In front of the well was a stone house that had been reduced to ruins.

"Come on." Priya said, taking the lead to walk to the well.

"Does it look like Isidora's house?" Pomona asked Severus.

"We'll talk later." Severus said, following Puglia to the well.

Priya turned a well rope and climbed down it, finally landing on the frog with her feet.

She looked up at the two of them and disappeared without a trace after a few seconds.

Severus jumped down first.

"Come down!" he said to Pomona.

"You asked me to jump right down!" she said in surprise.

"Hurry up, don't delay!" he said sternly.

Pomona climbed over the edge of the well awkwardly, then jumped down with her eyes closed.

She felt like she was being caught, and then she felt the suction again the next second, and was "spit out" again after a while.

When she staggered to her feet, they came to a vast underground space.

"I don't know where this place is, but it was like this when I came here," Priya said. "There's nothing in it."

Pomona looked at these "relics."

"Are you going to trade an empty treasure vault with me?" Severus asked, his voice echoing in the cave.

"At least one of your questions has been solved." Priya said, "Aren't you very curious about what is behind that door?"

Pomona looked at Priya.

"Fortunately, Ben and Barnaby did not use the Unforgivable Curse. It will indeed open, but..." Priya looked behind the door, "Is it worth it?"

Everyone was silent for a while.

"This place will soon be demolished or completely buried," Priya said.

"Throw it far away and bury it close." Pomona said suddenly, and everyone looked at her.

"A way to cover up evidence," she said with a shrug.

"I'm going to take this away," Severus said, pointing to the bronze frog.

"Of course." Priya said.

"What does this have to do with the Vanishing Cabinet?" Pomona asked.

Priya smiled at Pomona.

"No comment." She said like a silent person.

"You said you wanted to repair your memory?" Severus said.

"There are many secrets in my brain that cannot be revealed." Priya looked at Severus and said, "You must keep it secret."

"Of course." Severus smiled smoothly.

Pomona felt very unhappy.

Finally Severus put the floating bronze frog into the deformed lizard skin pocket, and then they went out through the "front door".

After going out, Pomona looked at the three-faced goddess relief carved in black stone on the wall.

What determines who we become is not our abilities, but our choices.

It's a good thing the kids didn't listen to you, Paul.

"Let's go." Severus said, putting his arm around Pomona's shoulders. The black robe enveloped her, and she seemed to smell the black floral fragrance again.

Then she vaguely heard some sounds and some images. In that bright and dark forest, she could not break away from this embrace.

When we reached the end of the dark corridor, the dungeon door opened, and there were several Aurors standing outside the door...

"Wait a minute," Pomona said suddenly.

Severus, who was holding up his wand and planning to pocket the frog, looked at her.

"Put this away, how are we going to go back later?" Pomona asked.

"From the front entrance, of course." Priya said.

"No one's out there?" Pomona asked.

"Probably...there's no one around," Priya said, "Everyone is off work at this time."

Severus lowered his hand.

"Remember what Isidora said, 'genius'." Pomona said with a smile, "Although she doesn't understand the principle."

He sneered at Pomona, then grabbed her arm, touched the frog's head with his other hand, and the two disappeared together.
