Chapter 41 The Beginning of Madness

Gotham General Hospital is different from the countless black clinics everywhere. It is the largest, most professional and most profitable hospital in Gotham City.

After all, a monopoly business is always more profitable than an illegal business.

But few people know that there are several layers of space underground in this hospital. After all, rich people sometimes need young people's blood, young people's organs, and even their entire bodies.

Dr. Francis, who is in charge of these projects, is a member of the Killers' Union. After all, killing people in a hospital is much easier and quieter than breaking in and shooting someone in the head.

Dr. Francis easily achieved a lot of achievements for himself, and his money, status and power allowed his position in the Killers' Guild to rise, and he soon became one of the real top leaders.

Because of the special nature of Gotham Hospital, Francis transformed this underground space into the headquarters of the Killer Guild.

This place has always been so secretive, efficient, and completely safe.

Every time he comes to this place, Francis can feel at ease, even if he is dismembering and skinning a living person here, it doesn't matter, because this is his territory and he can control everything.

But today Dr. Francis was a little irritable. He kept tapping his fingers on the table, anxiously waiting for the results.

Soon, a woman dressed as a nurse walked in and said in a serious tone: "The bomb signal on Richard was interrupted, but there was no explosion on Cape Street. Richard is missing."

Francis slapped the table angrily and roared: "I told you not to use this method. You should apologize properly. To apologize with a bomb is obviously a threat!"

The other four people in the conference room fell into awkward silence.

A few days ago, they could still maintain their elegance, thinking that the soul master was just a bit capable, and they could definitely solve it by assassinating him regardless of the cost.

After all, people will die if they are killed!

But Sui Feng's power far exceeded their expectations. Not only did Maroni's assassination fail, but he himself was made into a pet and put on display.

Francis, who had been to the scene in person, almost vomited after seeing the shrunken Maroney.

Others ridiculed Francis, saying that as a doctor, his mental endurance was too small. But Francis knew that he was very likely to be the second Maroni.

After the other top leaders of the Killer Guild learned about this, they also changed their previous attitude. They felt that they should apologize to Sui Feng and spend two million.

However, they feel that in addition to apologizing, they should continue to show the toughness of the killer union, so that they can "negotiate" and maybe get a discount of two million.

And this is exactly what Francis is strongly opposed to. If you apologize, just apologize, but do you have to tie a bomb?

Even if we really want to be tough, we can still be tougher after the negotiation fails. Why does it have to be so difficult?

It's a pity that Francis is only one of the five senior executives, and the other four agreed to this outrageous plan.

And now, the bomb went off and Richard disappeared.

It was obvious that the soul master was not prepared to negotiate with them.

"What do you think we should do now?"

The other four were silent for a long time, and finally one of them said, "Even if he wants to fall out, he won't find us so easily."

Francis stood up, kicked his chair away, and roared again: "It won't be that easy. Richard had the surgery here. The soul master will know it after taking out his soul."

"It won't be so soon. I have someone in the Gotham Police Department. James Gordon said that there are preconditions for soul masters to control souls, and they cannot do whatever they want."

Francis seemed to have heard something incredible and asked: "Then how did the Santa Maria Street branch be destroyed? He was just assassinated and found our branch in half an hour!"

"Perhaps it's because of the quantity. He killed more than a dozen killers, and there were always one or two souls captured by him. But this time there is only Richard, so it may not be so easy for him to control the soul."

Francis doesn't understand what's wrong with this group of people. Is it useful to comfort himself with such words now?

Soon, someone else made a suggestion: "No matter how long it takes, he will always find this place, so let's just lure him here and turn this place into a trap."

As soon as this suggestion came out, everyone else showed contemplative expressions.

It seems to make sense. They sent people to trouble Sui Feng before, but the result was a loss of troops. If they took the initiative to lure him over, they might be able to kill him.

Even if it doesn't work, even if he is only slightly threatened, it can still be used as capital for negotiation.

"Time waits for no one. We have no retreat now. Francis, this is your place, trap you."

The other four seemed to immediately reach an agreement, asking Francis to turn the hospital basement into another battlefield.

For the first time, Francis felt that he was on a pirate ship. How could these people still have such aloof ideas and prepare to negotiate with the soul master?

Francis felt that what he should do now was to find the mysterious soul master, kneel in front of him, devoutly confess all the mistakes he had made, dedicate everything he had, and just ask him to spare his life.

Although Maroni was raised as a hamster, he is still alive at least. Maybe the soul master will release him sometime.

But the four people in front of them actually wanted to provoke each other again.

"Are you crazy?"

Francis' questioning made the other four angry.

"Have you forgotten your identity? This is Gotham, and we are the masters here."

"This soul master has broken Gotham's rules."

"Yes, Gotham's rules have been established for hundreds of years and cannot be changed by a person with some special abilities."

The four people began to constantly denounce Sui Feng's evil deeds and cursed him for causing so much trouble instead of dying peacefully.

Francis was surprised. These people were not so stupid.

When the five people worked together before, these people were all ruthless people, and their plans were thorough and detailed. No trouble would be missed, and even if there were any, they would be solved quickly.

Why have we become a bunch of hysterical idiots now?

Francis couldn't help but think of the deaths of the Waynes.

From the beginning, he strongly opposed the union taking over this commission.

The Waynes are a symbol of Gotham, a representative of all rules and hope. Killing them will completely change Gotham.

But these four idiots agreed, and then actually killed the Waynes.

It seems that from that day on, something evil under Gotham began to resurrect.

Gotham is in chaos.

Not only are gangs fighting for territory, but in the dark corners that they disdain, robberies, murders, and even massacres without reason... all kinds of crimes have begun to grow explosively.

At first, Francis only thought it was a good thing, as this would make the hospital more money.

But now that I think about it, something wasn't quite right from that time on.

Gotham seems to be cursed, and everyone is moving towards hysteria.

Francis has recently witnessed several incidents of sudden mental illness that injured people. Even the doctors and nurses in the hospital began to suffer from mental instability. Francis personally dealt with a nurse who injected potassium cyanide into a hanging bottle.

Although the billionaire connected to the bottle defrauded many people of their pensions, what does it have to do with this nurse? Hasn’t she severed ties with her parents long ago? Why did two unrelated things suddenly make her crazy?

Do you have to poison someone?

The four people in front of them used to be important figures in Gotham's underground forces. Now they are grinding their teeth like madmen, madly swearing to take revenge on the soul master, and using reckless acts of death to prove that they are "not easy to mess with".

.

Francis didn't feel much before, but now that he thought about it, he felt a shudder.

"Crazy, you are all crazy."

Francis felt that he had no possibility of communicating with them. He was ready to leave here, leave Gotham, and would never interfere with the assassins' union. Anyway, he had a brother who was doing well in other places, and he also helped rich people do human body work.

As an organ trader, Francis didn't have to worry about having enough to eat after leaving Gotham.

He was really fed up with this crappy place.

But just when Francis was about to turn around, he found a man who frightened him standing behind him.

Francis was so frightened that he shouted: "Soul Master!"

Sui Feng walked out of the shadow of the conference room, took a chair, and sat on it.
