Chapter Fourteen, Devil May Cry 4 (Where Dreams Begin 3)(1/3)
"Hiss...ah...ahahahaha!..."
The demons made eerie noises, like clowns in a circus
Seeing this, Dante smiled, then bent down slightly, clapped his hands twice, and then greeted himself:
"Hey! Clowns, come here if you dare, Kemao!"
After saying that, he moved his body slightly...
Angelo on the side saw Dante teasing the devil, snorted disdainfully, and then said in a low tone:
"No need to waste time with these lowly bastards!"
After saying that, before the scarecrows could attack, Angelo saw a slight movement in his mind. In an instant, a phantom sword flashing with blue light instantly broke through the sound barrier and pierced into the body of the demon...
Then, in Dante's surprised expression, eight phantom swords shining with light blue light surrounded the two of them, spinning rapidly.
Only then did Dante notice that the model of the Phantom Sword looked exactly like the Thunder Sword Alastor, and you could even see a trace of lightning flashing across the blade of the sword...
"Boom!"
With a soft sound, the phantom swords surrounding the two people shot out instantly, wiping out all the demons present.
"Hmph! These bastards, they can't even think of letting me draw my sword, they are just a group of humble existences..."
After finishing speaking, Angelo continued to walk forward, and then Dante, who looked surprised, quickly asked after reacting:
"Zi Zhengzhen! I really didn't expect you to know how to do this, but you're right, these guys really don't interest us!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Angelo who was walking in front suddenly froze after hearing what Dante said, and then turned around and asked:
"Oh? Listen to you, could it be possible that my father would do the same? Well~, could he also..."
"Almost! Back then... my dear brother only learned this move after he touched that sword again, but... it sounds a bit strange..."
Dante's words made the latter frown, and the latter asked in surprise:
"What's weird?"
"Your power, or your magic..."
Having said this, Dante picked up his two guns and fired at a corner next to Angelo. The latter looked at the direction of the firing.
But there was a red bug with eyes shining with blue light lying on the ground.
After realizing that Angelo was looking over, the insect quickly crawled towards the corner with several tentacles, but just as black smoke was emitting from its body, a gunshot ended its life.
Dante put down the gun in his hand, glanced around, and added thoughtfully:
"Your magic power is much stronger than I imagined. Whether it's quality or quantity, it's something we didn't have back then..."
Having said this, Dante smiled bitterly and said the last sentence:
"In fact, compared to your awakening posture, back then we had to make a contract with a magic tool to become that posture. Maybe it was a matter of mentality..."
"A question of mentality? Why can't it be the power of that sword, the power of the magic sword that has the same name as my grandfather and your father?"
Dante's words made Angelo frown, and the latter asked a question.
Dante was stunned for a moment when he heard this question, then smiled bitterly and replied:
"Ah! If it is really that sword, it is impossible. It can only be your talent, or it may have something to do with your mother!"
After saying that, he turned around and shot to kill the two ice blades, and then Dante reminded him:
"Okay, let's not talk about those past events and concentrate on getting to the destination, otherwise that crazy woman may get angry!"
After saying that, Dante put away his lazy look and paid attention to his surroundings.
Angelo nodded in agreement after hearing this, and then the two began to speed up, and soon they reached the castle.
After entering the castle, the uncle and nephew passed by rooms that were used as museums. There were all kinds of "antiques" used to decorate them, including medieval swords and armor, various oil paintings, and furnishings.
A cursed statue.
But to the two of them, these things were no more than rags. Even the kind of statues used for casting spells had very little magic power left on them...
After passing through the atrium corridor, Angelo, who had lost the patience to go any further, asked Dante impatiently:
"Speaking of which, didn't Aunt Tracy tell you the agreed place?"
"Hmm...it seems like no, but...here..."
First he answered Angelo's question. After walking through the corridor on the second floor and passing through the art room, Dante asked in an unbelievable tone:
"Did dad really live here back then? It always feels a bit unreliable?"
"Not reliable, I think this place is pretty good. When I was a kid, my mother often told me stories about the castle. Speaking of which, I started to like it a little bit!"
Regarding Dante's doubts, Angelo shook his head noncommittally, and then expressed his thoughts.
"Like it here? Ha! This is not a good place to live!"
After giving a wry smile, Dante said in surprise.
"Um!………"
In response to Dante's words, Angelo nodded symbolically, then looked around and said something that made Dante laugh a little:
"I like this place very much. Maybe it's because of the different aesthetics, but I feel that as Hou Yi, who is so noble as the Demon Swordsman Sparta, we have the right to take it back. What's more, my father, Virgil, is the eldest son of the family, and I am the eldest grandson.
, so I have the priority to inherit!"
After finishing speaking, Angelo didn't notice at all the uncontrollable smile of Dante standing next to him. Angelo nodded with great certainty and added:
"Yes! Not even my stupid brother! As the owner of this castle, I feel that I need to re-plan this place in the future..."
"Hahahaha! Well, no one will compete with you. I don't think that brat Nero likes it here either."
Dante couldn't bear it any longer and said all the words in his heart while holding his stomach.
When Angelo saw Dante's mocking look, he snorted coldly. Just as he was about to retaliate, he suddenly thought of his idiot uncle's two partners.
Then after Dante finished laughing, Angelo showed a strange smile and said in a faint tone:
"Do you think I'm joking? Hahaha! Not only will you inherit this place, but after you retire, your office, your magic equipment, your property, and the magic sword will all be mine. Unless you give me
I will give birth to a younger brother or younger sister..."
Having said this, Angelo walked towards the classics room with a smile on his face, while Dante, who was choked, stayed where he was:
"Ahem!"
After moistening his throat, Dante murmured in a low voice after seeing Angelo enter the room:
"Who are you going to give birth to? It's uncomfortable to have one like that, let alone another one, and if it's those two, it will definitely be a nightmare..."
I didn’t know who I was talking about. After I finished speaking, I shook my head with a wry smile and walked into the house.
As soon as he entered the room, he saw Angelo holding an unknown book, and then heard a woman's voice:
"I took all those guys away!"
"Huh? What? What are you talking about? And why don't you come out to talk and play hide and seek?"
Glancing at the bookshelf behind him, Dante asked in surprise.
"It's okay, just now Angelo was asking about those scraps of metal. Speaking of which, how do you feel about walking around here? Just now I seemed to hear that our Angelo seemed to be the master of this castle?"
A woman's teasing voice came from behind the bookshelf. Dante shrugged after hearing this. Angelo also put down the books in his hands, looked at the bookshelf, and retorted with a warm and angry expression:
"I'm serious. I think this idiot uncle of mine will never care about this place again, but~, Aunt Tracy, can't you speak out?"
After saying that, Dante glanced at Angelo's expression, which looked like a child having a tantrum. He didn't know what he was thinking of. He smiled, picked up a book on the table, and asked teasingly...
…
"Stain!~, but don't say that you don't dare to come out because you don't have makeup on?"
After saying that, he put down the book in his hand and picked up another one. When he found that he couldn't understand it, he changed it to another one...
Looking at Dante's constant flipping of books, Angelo picked up an open book, shook his head, and said:
"Stop flipping through it, the books here are of no use."
After saying that, he waved the book in front of Dante's eyes and threw it on the table.
After hearing this, Dante shook his head slightly impatiently and replied in an uncertain tone:
"It's useless? I was just thinking that if dad really stayed here, he could at least find one or two magic books, or one or two magic swords. Well... there should be some!"
"Really? Don't forget what Beja said before. During her tenure as pope, her grandfather put all dangerous goods or other things in her family's treasure room."
Regarding Dante's question, Tracy behind the bookshelf explained it.
This explanation made Dante nod his head noncommittally, put away his laziness, put down the book in his hand, and said:
"Okay! Let's get down to business, have you found out the location of that thing?"
"I already know the location. It's underground in this castle, in a research facility. Although I was a little unsure before, I later asked Angelo to confirm it..."
Having said this, Tracy paused and then added:
"But it's better to wait for the recycling of "it"."
To be continued...
