Chapter 4493

He walked up to her, then bent down and grabbed her hand, wrapping her soft palms, as if encouraging her to continue.

"Nothing, I just thought that even if I became Emily, we could still be friends if possible, but I'm too naive."

Edward looked at her deeply. He saw the anger and pain in her eyes. If he really didn't care at all, how could he have such a clear-cut mood?

After a long time, he let go of his hand and was grabbed by her in an instant, "Where are you going? Don't you believe me?"

He smiled and said, "The tea has cooled down, and gentlemen do not allow such things to happen."

After gently prying open her hands, he got up and brought the tea set to the kitchen, and then a brief sound of cups and plates colliding in the kitchen.

"Edward." Ding Yiyi felt her mouth dry and tongue dry. She stepped forward and hugged his waist, leaned her head on his back, "Sorry, it made you feel uncomfortable."

Edward gently untied her arm and felt her uneasiness. He quickly turned around and hugged her gently, and said softly: "Silly, I'm glad you're willing to share your thoughts with me."

He took her back to the living room, but deliberately let her sit with her back to the window, which happened to be blocked by potted plants.

"Don't you like drawing the most at this time?" He picked up a thick reference book about photography from the bookshelf and sat in the position where he would sit every day when he would read books.

Ding Yiyi saw that his expression was transcendent, not unlike before. She moved happily in his slender fingertips, and then made a crisp sound.

She pulled out a gray colored pencil from the box and began to paint it on the drawing board. Time passed quickly. In the room, except for the sound of wind and rain, only the pencil was left to paint on paper and the sound of the pages being turned on.

I don’t know when the sound of pencil painting on paper disappeared. She quietly looked at the painting in front of her. In the flower basket, a bouquet of purple-red sun flowers were dazzling.

She recognized the bouquet of sunflowers as the first bunch he pried from the ridge of the field. There were two rhizomes, one of which had three sunflowers and the other two sunflowers. The color was very bright, just like the brightest sari that an Indian girl would wear when she got married.

She didn't notice that the sound of turning the pages disappeared. The owner of the hand who turned the pages was standing quietly behind her at this time.

He walked with a light voice, always holding the usual posture of British gentlemen with his head held high and his chest. His best leather shoes hit the mahogany floor and played the melody of light steps.

Finally, she came to her senses and subconsciously looked for the person on the sofa. Her eyes were touching a stunning figure beside her, and subconsciously wanted to cover the painting.

She still covered it, but after covering it, her heart thumped. Why did she cover this painting?

"Go down." Edward patted her shoulder gently and said in a deep voice, his voice very clearly in the wind and rain.

After he finished speaking, he turned around and walked towards the room, his back straight, making people unable to see his emotions.

"Edward." Ding Yiyi said his name softly, stood up and followed his steps, wandered around the closed door for a while before leaving.

After a while, a blue and white umbrella appeared in the rain, and she looked cold, "What are you doing?"

The rain was left along his hair, followed by curly eyelashes, smooth skin and a firm chin.
