Chapter 1 A figure waking up from a deep sleep

"Level 1 alert!"

"Level 1 alert!"

"A large amount of unknown dark energy appears in the Cairngorm Mountains. All Aurors set out immediately!"

"Get ready for battle!"

Amid the piercing sirens, the atmosphere in the British Ministry of Magic was extremely tense.

Many Aurors looked grim, and divided into small teams to use portkeys to explore the Cairngorm Mountains where a large amount of dark energy was spewing out.

Soon, all the Aurors entered the dark mountains and began to advance quickly and orderly.

Among the Auror team, there was a young Auror with pink hair who accidentally lost track of the team and got lost in the complicated mountain environment.

Nymphadora Tonks is a newly graduated trainee Auror. This is her first time to participate in a large-scale operation. In the rush, she accidentally loses touch with the team.

She tried to find her teammates, but lost her way in the rising fog, driving deeper and deeper into the dark mountain.

After walking aimlessly in the fog for a long time, just when Tonks' mood reached its lowest point, a mysterious figure suddenly appeared in front of him, its outline vaguely floating in the fog.

The young trainee Auror immediately became alert according to the instructor's training and raised his wand.

"Who are you? Why are you here?!" Tonks said loudly.

The figure heard her voice and turned around slowly.

As he moved, the fog in front of Tonks dispersed strangely, as if making way for the figure to make way for a spacious passage.

This magical sight made Tonks' extremely nervous mood relax a bit.

By the time the figure approached her, all the fog had dispersed to both sides. Behind the fog were two tall peaks, and a huge and bright moon was quietly embedded in the angle between the two peaks.

Under the silver moonlight, a man with long silver hair and a strange face stood in front of the bright moon.

His face looked like he was only in his twenties, but his deep eyes reflected epic vicissitudes of life.

He spoke slowly and awkwardly, as if he hadn't spoken for a long time:

"Hello, can you tell me what time it is now?"

His voice changed from deep to bright, as if it had reached the young Auror's ears across thousands of years.

Tonks' pink hair instantly turned red, and she stammered: "Hello... hello, it's almost one o'clock in the morning."

"I mean, the specific time now."

"Exact time...?" Tonks was stunned for a moment.

"I mean, what year, month and day is it now?"

"July 31, 1991."

Tonks looked dazed and didn't realize what she had said.

"I understand, thank you." The corners of the man's mouth raised slightly, and he walked towards the exit of the mountain range.

Only then did the young Auror trainee remember his identity and mission.

"Sir, the Cairngorm Mountains are very dangerous now. Please don't walk around!" She hurriedly followed and took out her Ministry of Magic ID. "I am an intern Auror at the British Ministry of Magic. I can

Keep you safe!"

Hearing Tonks' confident words, the silver-haired man had a playful smile on his lips and turned his head to look at her.

"Oh?" he asked with interest, "What's the danger here?"

"According to the detection of our Ministry of Magic, there is a large amount of dark energy appearing in the Cairngorm Mountains. There must be some evil black magic creature about to be born." Tonks said confidently, "So be careful!"

"So that's it?" He seemed to be unable to help laughing, and the smile on his face grew stronger.

"I'm really serious, sir!" Tonks said dissatisfied, and her hair turned black.

The silver-haired man finally put away his smile, pointed forward, and said, "I'm very grateful for your kindness, but the exit of the mountain range is just ahead. Am I safe?"

Only then did Tonks realize that at some point, the two of them had arrived at the location where the Auror team first entered the mountain.

"Huh?" She looked back at the intricate mountain road in confusion, her expression dull, "How did you find the right path?"

The man smiled slightly and originally wanted to say something.

But then his eyes moved slightly and he changed his words: "It's almost time. I'm glad to see you today, this enthusiastic lady."

After waving his hands casually, he stepped out of the valley and disappeared into the night.

Tonks stared blankly at the night ahead, looking in a daze.

At this moment, a tough wizard with long gray hair and every inch of his skin seemed to be scarred came over. One of his wooden legs stepped on the ground and made a "dong", "dong" sound, interrupting

Tonks' thoughts.

"Tonks, have you forgotten all the content of the Auror training?" When he saw the lost trainee Auror, he first breathed a sigh of relief, and then began to lecture him face to face, "You didn't even know the process of marching.

The most basic requirement of keeping up with the team has not been fulfilled!"

"I'm sorry, Instructor Moody..." Tonks said nonchalantly, "As you know, my 'Stealth and Tracking' subject has never been very good, and I accidentally lost track of a large group of troops..."

"Seeing as this is your first mission and you handled the emergency reasonably well, let's forget it this time." Instructor Moody said in a rough voice, "After you get separated from the team, return to a safe place.

Entrance, this is a wise choice."

"Instructor Moody... I actually got lost before." Tonks lowered her head and said very honestly, "But I met a handsome man in the valley, and he brought me back here."

Moody frowned after hearing Tonks' explanation.

"No matter how you think about the person who appears in the valley at this time, something is wrong." He said solemnly, "Maybe the explosion of dark energy is related to this person!"

"Tonks, which direction does he go? Let's chase him!"

However, that mysterious figure had long since disappeared into the cover of the night and could not be found.

The person that the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic were looking for was currently wandering around leisurely, looking at the current landscape and scenery of Scotland with curiosity.

His name is Brad Dracula, and he is a vampire who has lived for more than a thousand years. Now he has been sleeping for a hundred years and has just woken up.

In fact, Moody's judgment was not wrong. This outbreak of dark energy did have a lot to do with him.

Dracula spent a full hundred years in a deep sleep, and the dark energy in his body had already accumulated to an extremely strong level. When he first woke up, he accidentally let it escape a lot.

It is precisely because of this that his awakening attracted the attention of the Ministry of Magic.

However, Dracula didn't pay much attention to this matter. He casually arranged the black and red clothes that showed no signs of decay even after a hundred years of sleep, and took out a simple bronze mirror from his pocket.

The back of the bronze mirror is engraved with a gold-plated phoenix relief, and a time-honored atmosphere emerges from the relief.

Dracula showed a nostalgic smile, smiled softly in the mirror and said:

"Not dead yet, old guy?"

"It's good. At least I don't have to sleep in a coffin for a century like some old guy." An old voice came from the mirror and responded with an unceremonious smile.

"Old guy, I haven't seen you in a hundred years. I didn't expect you to be much more articulate." Dracula smiled.

"I'll go sit at your place for a while."

"Tell me carefully about any interesting things that have happened in the past hundred years..."
