Chapter 19 Silly kid
Li Mianmian scoffed at it and didn't take it to heart.
Now that I think about it, Gu Xuanlang is much better than this boy!
After venting his frustration in the study for a long time, Li Mianmian went out and poured a cup of hot water, gulping it down in one gulp. Only then did she feel better.
In the middle of the night, she finally couldn't bear the reminder of her biological clock and returned to the bedroom to fall asleep with her teddy bear in her arms.
The next day, Gu Yanci stood at the door waiting for her for the first time.
Li Mianmian was so happy that she immediately forgot about the unpleasantness last night.
Gu Yanci memorized the text repeatedly on the way, which made her nervousness reach a very appropriate position. She didn't need to adapt after entering the examination room. She could get into the mood immediately after picking up the test paper.
After taking the exam, Li Mianmian began to enter his summer vacation life, while Gu Yanci was already a senior in high school and needed to make up classes at school.
This time, she did not deliver food to Gu Yanci like before.
It's not that she doesn't want to, but that she finally knows how to keep an appropriate distance from him.
It's been a long time since Xu Tingmo's last joke, but Li Mianmian has never forgotten it.
She didn't understand why at the time, but looking back now, it was probably because she ran to deliver food every day, which made people want to joke.
Li Mianmian knew that Xu Tingmo had a very stable character, and even he would make such a joke. Gu Yanci's other classmates probably talked about it a lot, and maybe these jokes even reached Gu Yanci's ears.
No wonder he told her several times not to let her deliver food.
It just so happens that she has been growing taller recently and is very good at eating. Even four meals a day are not enough.
In addition to homework during the summer vacation, what Li Mianmian spends the most time on is taking painting classes and practicing painting.
She didn't sign up for any other extracurricular classes, only painting, which she continued even when school started.
The current painting class is the same as before, and I still study for two hours every Saturday afternoon.
However, Li Changfeng used to send her there. Now that she is familiar with the route, she always takes the bus there by herself.
Originally, she never made any mistakes during class, but one week the teacher had something unexpected and changed the class time from the next year to the morning.
That place is very convenient to get there and there is no need to transfer, but the distance is a bit far and it takes more than forty minutes to get there on the bus.
Class starts at half past eight, and Li Mianmian has to get up at around six o'clock.
However, after the summer vacation, she was used to sleeping until eight o'clock, and the sudden change in her schedule made her extremely sleepy.
After getting in the car, she found the last seat and looked out the window in a daze.
The bus rocked strangely, like a baby's cradle, which made people want to doze off for no reason.
Li Mianmian could still hold on at first, but then she fell asleep without knowing when.
The route of this bus is a circular route with no terminal and the driver will not remind passengers to get off.
So she fell asleep in the car twice, and when she woke up, it was already past nine o'clock!
When she saw this time, her first reaction was to get off the bus quickly, but when she got off the bus, she realized that she had no idea which station the bus was driving to.
This place is very desolate, there is no platform, only a lonely stop sign.
She looked up for a long time and found that the stop sign only had the name of the stop and the number of the bus she had just taken, but no detailed route to the stop.
This is the result of being too sleepy just now!
I hurriedly got out of the car without seeing anything clearly...
After staying for a while, Li Mianmian remembered that she should call the teacher first to report that she was safe.
However, after digging around in her schoolbag for a long time and unable to find her phone, she vaguely remembered that she seemed to have forgotten to bring her phone when she went out in the morning.
Not to mention the mobile phone, she even forgot to bring her pencil and eraser!
When you get up in the morning, you should give yourself a couple of slaps to wake up!
Li Mianmian took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. The first priority was to contact the teacher, or maybe her parents, so as not to worry them.
She touched her neck and looked around, finding no one around at all.
I don’t know where this place is. It’s so desolate.
Then you have to wait for the next bus, and you have to find someone first to borrow the phone.
Fortunately, it's not too late now. I hope her parents will guess that she overslept and don't worry too much.
After waiting for more than ten minutes, there was not even a sign of a car on the road.
The sun was very strong, and Li Mianmian was soon covered in sweat. She felt like she would suffer from heat stroke if she stood for a while longer.
But there were no trees around here, so she could only find a good angle and stand in the shadow of the stop sign, which could at least shield her face a little.
After waiting for another five minutes, there was still no car.
Li Mianmian began to panic.
In fact, she knew she had to wait for at least half an hour, because the bus service was very few and only came once every half hour. She always took the time to go to the station.
But the wait felt too long, and she couldn't help but become anxious.
The sun was rising higher and higher, and the shadow of the stop sign was getting shorter and shorter. She could only catch a little shadow by squatting.
I had to go out in a hurry in the morning. I stuffed myself with two pieces of bread before leaving. I didn't drink any water. Now my throat was so dry that it hurt.
Li Mianmian raised her hand to wipe the sweat. She thought unreasonably that she was dying of thirst and was still sweating. Her body was really weird. Can't she keep some water?
She felt that she could no longer squat, and was about to lean forward against the stop sign pole when a hand suddenly came across her forehead.
The hand was between her forehead and the pole. There was water in the palm of her hand, which was ice cold and very comfortable.
Li Mianmian raised his head slowly and vaguely saw a long silhouette.
"Are you dizzy?" The man turned aside to block the sun for her, and put a bottle of ice water next to her hot cheek.
"Are you suffering from heatstroke?"
Li Mianmian was groggy and subconsciously grabbed the man's trouser leg.
"If you see who I am, just touch me."
She heard the man sigh helplessly, with a familiar gentleness and smile in his tone: "You silly kid, you don't even know you're being sold."
