Chapter 28 Breaking the Shell(1/2)

Author: Going to Winter

Ifomie stood there for a while. The sharp laughter made his head buzz.

He suddenly reached out and grabbed their throats - there was no need to be too picky, anyone could be grabbed - it was just a matter of order...

The elder hobbit laughed strangely and disappeared from the sky, and a cloud of fluorescent yellow dust exploded in the air.

The strangely fluorescent dust hit his face with precision, and a layer of fog formed in front of his eyes.

He stopped and wanted to erase the layer of things blocking his vision.

Another puff of dust hit his eyes from another direction.

My eyes hurt from being stung, and my field of vision suddenly turned gray.

The harpies were jumping around, and he could only see a dozen blurry colored lights and shadows.

Ifomie tried to distinguish it from the sound, found a group of shadows and rushed towards it.

The shadow jumped away quickly, and there was a burst of laughter. The harpies behind him began to scream and flap their wings to confuse his hearing.

Sometimes he felt that he touched the smooth edge of a feather, but the flexible goblins quickly twisted their bodies and successfully escaped from his hands.

He couldn't catch a single bird.

Why is he still so weak? Is he still the wandering demon Asmodeus?

"I don't think there's any need to be stronger. It's fine as it is."

Ifomie remembered what he had said, and he wondered why he thought so before.

Squeak—squeak!

Chi chi chi chi!

The Harpy harpy easily dodged his attack. Wave after wave of fairy dust covered his face.

The dust brought a sour and spicy feeling. Magma-like liquid began to accumulate in his eyes.

Wanting to catch them, for a moment he grabbed a stubby tail feather. But almost at the same time, several sharp beaks pecked at his head. Then all the harpies fled away in a swarm.

There was nothing he could do about it.

Why is the upgrade not completed...

Why hasn't he gained the power of the Hand of Destruction yet?

He promised. He did what he promised. He also gained the faith of believers. Solena... Solena erased his name and removed the old anchor... didn't she?

The harpies threw dust at him like a snowball fight, giggling happily.

Ifomed wanted to kill them. Let them eat the terrible news, and poke the beaks of the mocking birds into their brains.

His vision was filled with red things. An earthy yellow shadow jumped over——

He rushed towards that position and missed again.

Solena, Solena...why?

Solena said…

She said she wanted a new anchor point and replaced the starting position.

He remembered.

"This new anchor point needs to be engraved with your new title on something that completely belongs to you."

Ifomie stopped. He was stunned in place.

He was thinking hard about this matter. He had to think about this matter. He would do whatever Solena said. It had always been like this. Just focus on doing what Solena said.

There is no need to think about other things... There is no need to think about other things... He needs something that is completely his own, and then he can carve a new name on it.

Then what?

He forced himself not to think so much.

Fairy dust kept hitting him on the face.

"Boring. No more fun."

After an unknown amount of time, he heard the elder harpy flap his wings slowly and stop.

After a while, the blows from other harpies stopped.

"Hey, stupid cow, have you stood still enough?" He heard the voice of the Harpy Elder and wanted to turn in that direction.

But he couldn't see anything.

Ifomim felt someone push a slender rod-shaped object into his hand. The object was very hard, and scars from fire could be felt on the surface. One end was round and the other was very sharp.

"What is this?" he asked.

"Solena." Some of them couldn't hold it in anymore and giggled again.

Leprechauns need new fun every moment. That's what leprechauns do.

He rubbed the bone in his hand back and forth, held it in his palm, and stared at it.

His eyes were about to burst in their sockets, but he couldn't see anything.

Solena, Solena. Say something to me.

He slowly sat down amid laughter.

"Who killed her?"

"have no idea."

"Where did it come from?"

"Sent by a devil without ears."

"Who is that?"

"Stupid cow, you ask too many questions."

I asked too many questions. Asmodeus deducted ten points. Solena, please jump out and say this to me.

His only answer was high-pitched laughter.

He sat, one paw sliding over the bone like a harp.

Ifomed sat dumbly for a while.

After a while, he lifted a finger, the sharp claw tip moved rustlingly, and carved his new name on the bone:

The hand of destruction is destroyed.

He grabbed it tightly.

He felt the blood all over his body boil.

Something radiated from his body. The cracking sound of his shoulder blades continued, and new flesh and blood burst out of the skin.

The bones in his hand grew thicker and longer out of thin air.

He held it with his new two arms.

Those laughter suddenly disappeared in mid-air.

The next second, he heard a panicked gasp and a panicked flapping of wings.

Ifomni's horn hit the roof of the cave.

For some reason, the cave suddenly became very narrow.

It's slippery underfoot.

And very sticky.

He carefully kicked away a few pieces of the harpy's stumps that were torn into pieces, and moved slowly while holding on to the wall.

He couldn't see anything, his vision was blurry.

It finally calmed down.

He soon discovered that silence was not a good thing either.

Silence surrounded him with malice from all sides. He felt like there was a lump in his throat again.

Where should I go?

"Don't you have your own ideas?" Solena would definitely say this.

He tightened his grip on the scarlet spear.

"Demons without ears." He remembered the words of the harpies.
To be continued...
