Chapter 73 Guan Dao One

The Way of Heaven: Gods and immortals are all ethereal. They have no desires or desires. They are just what people think.

Ghost Path: Wailing all over the place, dark abyss, the destination of death.

Humanity: The miscellaneous mind is changeable, possessing the five evils of greed, anger, ignorance, and anger.

People seem simple and think they are smart, but deep inside they are like Abi Hell.

I have self-contemplated the Tao and understood immortality, and the hardships in the world are unpredictable. I am looking for ways to escape from the body in heaven and earth, and I only hope to become a god one day.

Man! He just has a bad skin.

The soul is immortal, and since it changes its skin, it has eternal life.

Qinglian Taoist Temple

This is a Taoist temple located at the top of Yunshan Mountain, at least fifty miles away from the nearest town.

Although Qinglian Taoist Temple is located in a remote place, there are countless people who come to burn incense and worship Buddha.

These people come from thousands of miles away to beg for children and wealth, just because there is a Taoist nun here who can fulfill people's wishes. Anyone who drinks the talisman water she gives them will have their wishes come true.

Therefore, many people come here because of their reputation, just to seek wealth, fame, and profit. This is human nature.

There were many people watching at the entrance of the Taoist temple, and an old man sat in the middle. The old man held a cattail leaf fan in his left hand and a small kettle in his right hand. He was telling stories nonstop:

It is said that on a dark and stormy night, a woman took her four-year-old child to rest in an inn. In the middle of the night, the woman discovered that the child was missing, and she began to search hurriedly.

"Jun'er, Jun'er, where are you? Jun'er?"

The woman searched the inn inside and out, but could not find the child's whereabouts.

At this time, there was a banging sound of "Dong! Dong! Dong" coming from the door somewhere, as if someone was chopping something.

The woman was puzzled and said: "It's strange, who is knocking here at this late night?"

With that said, she bravely walked over.

The woman forgot about looking for the child and was completely attracted by the "dong dong" sound.

When I came to the door, I stood at the crack of the door and looked inside. I saw an old lady with white hair standing in front of the table, holding a knife in her hand and chopping meat on the board.

Bright red blood and flesh were splashed everywhere. The scene was so bloody that the woman couldn't help but let out an "Ah" sound.

The white-haired old lady stopped what she was doing, slowly raised her head, and looked towards the door.

Unexpectedly, the moment the white-haired old lady raised her head, the woman was dumbfounded.

Because the white-haired old lady she saw was exactly the same as her missing child, except that she had more wrinkles on her face.

A strange smile appeared on the white-haired old lady's face, and she waved her hand towards the door, and the door opened by itself.

Only then did the woman see clearly that the room was filled with many human skins. These human skins belonged to children of five or six years old.

The old man finished the story in one breath, and everyone present looked at him blankly.

Someone in the crowd who knew him said, "Old Ma, you've lied to people about ghost stories here again."

"Exactly." Another person echoed: "You have told this story almost eight hundred times, even I know it."

As soon as this statement came out, everyone laughed.

Only Lao Ma looked troubled and said nothing.

One person seemed to remember something, patted his head and said: "Hey, but I heard that a child did go missing recently."

"Don't scare yourself, maybe it's just a child being playful."

No one took these words seriously and just regarded them as a joke.

Perhaps only Lao Ma knows it best, because the woman in the story is his wife and the child is his daughter.

Over the years, Lao Ma has been searching and never stopped. Later, he heard that Aunt Zhiran of Qinglian Taoist Temple was very effective, so he thought of coming here to beg for help.

Later, Taoist Aunt Qingran told him that his wife and daughter had been "borrowed" by someone, but Lao Ma never understood the word "borrowed" that Taoist Aunt Qingran said.

So Lao Ma began to tell stories at the gate of the Taoist temple every day, telling only this story.

After Qingde and I left Chiyou Village, we continued south. Although I didn't know where the six-fingered Taoist priest went, my intuition told me that it was absolutely right to go south.

Qingde has rarely spoken recently, as if he has a lot of things on his mind.

I asked tentatively: "Qingde, why do you want to collect so many wronged souls and resentful ghosts?"

Qingde's face was heavy and he stared blankly ahead.

"Do you know the Taoist forbidden art - Yang Yang Returning Art?"

I narrowed my eyes and stared at Qingde. This was the first time I had heard of this name.

"Returning Yang Kung Fu? What does it do?"

Qingde sighed and said: "Alas! The world is divided into three realms, one is the heaven, the second is the human realm, and the third is the ghost realm.

The way of heaven refers to the gods in the sky, and the way of ghosts refers to the souls of the dead.

The human realm can be cultivated into the heavenly realm, or it can enter the ghost realm."

After hearing this, I nodded and said, "I know all this! My master Zhang once told me."

"You don't know." Qingde shook his head and said, "If you want to enter the heaven, it is not that simple. Those who enter the heaven must first have an immortal body and must survive the two major death tribulations of heaven and life."

Qingde suddenly stopped talking and turned to look at me with a very unique look. "There are many immortals, but in the end almost none can escape the two major catastrophes of death.

Therefore, if a person wants to live forever, he can only enter the ghost realm and become a human being."

I asked in confusion: "What is stiffness?"

"Human zombies can also be called immortal ghosts. Before a person dies, he must first find a substitute, force the ghost of the substitute out of the body, and let the substitute go to the underworld on our behalf.

Those who need immortality only need to enter the body of a substitute, and by changing back and forth in this way, they can achieve immortality."

"What kind of immortality is this? Isn't this living on behalf of others?" I frowned and looked at Qingde in confusion.

Qingde remained expressionless and said calmly: "As long as your soul is immortal, what's the point of borrowing other people's bodies? People only have skins. As long as the soul is alive, it is eternal life."

"How many lives will this harm? It's so cruel." I looked at Qingde with disgust on my face.

Qingde said disdainfully: "As for longevity, it is inevitable that someone will die, otherwise how can we live forever?"

I suddenly felt that Qingde seemed to be a different person. Not only had his behavior been weird in the past few days, but even his words were so profound.

"Then you want to..." I deliberately didn't finish my sentence, wanting to see what Qingde's attitude was.

Maybe it was because of the strong wind at night! Qingde shuddered, and then said with a smile: "I'm just saying casually, don't you think the atmosphere is just right now?"

I rolled my eyes at him angrily and said jokingly, "I thought you were going to live forever!"

After saying that, I walked in front. Qingde looked at my retreating figure, raised the corners of his mouth slightly, and muttered in a low voice: "Hurry, wait until I live forever, and you will disappear."

"What are you mumbling again?" I stopped and saw Qingde alone in a daze, so I urged him: "Hurry up and leave."
