Chapter 189 The Labyrinth in the Darkness(1/2)
Sherlock walked at the front door, Eddie pulled Amy behind him, and the three of them pushed the door and walked into the Prophecy Hall.
"What's wrong with Amy's eyes?"
Sherlock was the first to notice Amy's problem. He touched her head and asked with a frown.
Amy rubbed her eyes again.
"Sand was in Amy's eyes, but Amy thought it was okay."
She had never felt wrong. After hearing Amy say this, Sherlock did not continue to take this matter to heart, but instead took them to the depths of the Prophecy Hall.
"I've been here for a while and know that one of the doors is special, and it can only be opened on a specific day of the week. I've opened it once, and there's a wind inside, and it's very likely that it's blowing in from outside!"
Sherlock said, and the three of them trotted all the way to the innermost wall of the Prophecy Hall.
There are three doors here. The one on the left can be opened at will, storing some broken crystal balls. The one on the right has been locked all the time. The black door in the middle is what Sherlock calls the room.
"Today is the day when it can be opened?" Eddie asked in a hurry.
Sherlock nodded.
"It's today, as long as it's not past 12 o'clock yet."
He stretched out his hand and pushed open the door hard. A fresh cold wind blew out from the door, and raised the hair on the foreheads of the three people.
The continuous explosions behind them were still ringing. Without hesitation, they walked into the dark room together.
The black door was locked up again, and in the time hall, the Fuman wall, which was controlled by Sherlock and controlled two hundred magic wands, was finally bombarded by the Death Eaters with an explosion spell.
In the round black hall, Bella's face turned cold as frost.
Dozens of Death Eaters around her were constantly using explosion spells, and behind them were four Aurors who had fallen into a coma curse.
In order to cooperate with Batty's identity, they did not kill a single person in the Ministry of Magic tonight.
At the explosion of gap, countless shattering spells once again exerted effects on the charred vines.
A minute later, an entrance that can be passed by people was destroyed.
At this time, five Death Eaters walked out of another room in the Mysterious Affairs Division.
"The Ministry of Magic staff who stayed here have been resolved, but..." the Death Eater said hesitantly, "but Mrs. Selwin, she is gone."
Bella looked at her with a gloomy face, her hand holding the wand gently moved her fingers.
"Did she disappear in front of you, or did you not find her at the beginning?"
"We didn't see her at the beginning, she seemed to have not stayed here tonight."
Since you already know the location of that room, the director of the Mysterious Affairs Department is not that important, and it doesn't matter whether you catch it or not.
"First go and complete the tasks assigned by the master."
Bella walked in front, and the other Death Eaters followed her into the crowd.
Rabbastan took several Death Eaters to consciously separate from the large army, trying to open all the rooms that could enter and look for Sherlock and the others' whereabouts.
The rest passed through the time hall, and Bella pushed open the door of the prophecy hall with clear aim and led the Death Eaters into the room full of crystal balls.
The evildoers rudely pushed several rows of wooden frames blocking the road to the ground. The crystal balls on them fell to the ground, and a sound of "cracking" glass shattering sounds.
They kept walking in without any stop in the middle until they came to the wall with three doors.
According to the scene seen from Mrs. Selwin's memory, Bella stared at the black door that Sherlock walked into with Eddie and Amy, and reached out and pushed it away!
It was pitch black behind the door and there was no sight.
The Death Eaters who were looking for Sherlock's whereabouts in the time hall also returned in vain.
"The person was not found."
"Don't bother them, let's go in."
Under her leadership, the Death Eaters each used a magic wand to illuminate the spell, and then walked into the room with cold wind.
......
“Amy is a little sleepy.”
Amy, who was held in Eddie's arms, leaned against her father's shoulder and muttered to herself.
From the beginning when she said that her eyes had entered the sand, Amy's condition was obviously incorrect.
Sherlock asked with a frown.
"What was blown into Amy's eyes just now?"
Eddie recalled.
"It's the sand in that hourglass, the largest one leaning against the wall."
Sherlock's brows immediately became even tighter.
"The things inside are definitely not sand! We must go out as soon as possible, otherwise Amy's situation might cause trouble!"
They had been in this dark room for more than ten minutes, but they still hadn't reached the end.
This room is very abnormal, and the darkness is like magic, squeezing various light sources.
Sherlock scattered more than a dozen magic wands and used the illumination spell together. The visibility was less than one meter. If you were far away, you would be unable to see the road ahead.
The cold wind blew around them, and the room seemed to be separated by countless small grids, like a maze, making people circling around it, and they couldn't find a way out.
Sherlock also tried to destroy those grids with a spell, but none of them succeeded.
Soon they reached a fork in the road, with two roads in front for them to choose from.
"Where do you go?" Eddie asked.
It was the first time that Sherlock entered here, but in terms of choice and luck, there was one among them who seemed to be cheating.
Sherlock asked softly at Amy, who was leaning against Eddie's shoulder, his eyes closed and confused.
"Do you think we should go left or right, Amy?"
Amy seemed to be very sleepy, but she still had some weak consciousness and murmured.
“Amy… thinks it should go left…”
With her answer, Sherlock and Eddie did not hesitate, and then walked to the left. Amy chose the direction for all the intersections they encountered behind and kept moving forward.
They continued to walk forward for about half an hour, and after turning a corner, they saw a faint light.
Eddie and Sherlock held their breath at the same time and looked at each other.
Someone!
The wizard holding a magic wand illuminated the spell also saw them. Sherlock's side was much brighter, and it was easy to see their faces clearly.
"John!"
A familiar female voice rang out, and the witch approached them with a magic wand.
At this time, Sherlock saw the witch's face clearly. It was Mrs. Selwin!
"Why are you here?" Sherlock asked in confusion.
Mrs. Selwin's face was pale, gasping quickly, looking flustered.
"There is a door in my office that leads directly to this place." She looked at Sherlock's face with guilt, "I shouldn't have wronged you, John, that door was not opened by you. Someone else must have scrambled in that night. He peeked at my memory and handed it over to the Death Eater!"
Sherlock naturally had no mood to care about those things anymore. Hearing Mrs. Selwin's words, his heart suddenly sank.
"Can this room walk out of the Department of Mystery or the Ministry of Magic?"
"No, this room is a place to hide things, and some of the most important things in the Mysterious Affairs Department are hidden here."
Hearing her say this, Sherlock's face turned completely dark.
They went to the wrong place!
Not only is this not the way out of the Ministry of Magic, it is very likely that the ultimate goal of the Death Eaters and theirs!
The more you go inside, the more you fall into the trap.
Eddie wasn't stupid either, he could hear this.
“What should I do now?”
They have already reached this point, and it is impossible to return the same way. Even if they are lucky enough to not meet the Death Eater halfway, it has passed twelve o'clock in front of the door, and the door cannot be opened at all!
Sherlock gritted his teeth and said without much trouble.
"Then I can only continue to walk inside. I must find the room they were looking for one step faster than the Death Eaters and the others!"
He turned to look at Mrs. Selwin.
"Do you know where the room they are looking for?"
Mrs. Selwin said with a pale face and nodded.
"I took back some of my memories before entering this maze. I also knew the room the Black Devil and the others were looking for, but I haven't gotten the memory of the thing inside."
Her tone was solemn, and even her voice was trembling slightly.
To be continued...
