Chapter 311 Former Death Eaters

"You're in Hogwarts now!"

Kakarov's tone became stern, as if he was forcing him.

"The man's most loyal subordinate should be locked in the Azkaban! But you didn't! Not only did you not come under Dumbledore's nose!"

Snape looked at him with a sneer, his eyes as cold and empty as if he was looking at a dead person.

"The most loyal subordinates should be locked up in Azkaban? Is that true? There are many people in that prison who are forced to be locked up because of you. Think about it, Igor, it's because of you."

Kakarov had a dark face, as if he was being said to have some pain, and Snape's words were still not over.

"As for me now being under Dumbledore's nose, you start to doubt my loyalty for that person? Don't forget who he trusted the most! I never thought he would disappear from now on. When he makes a comeback again, isn't my position the most useful weapon for him?"

Kakarov's pupils suddenly shrank.

Harry, hiding beside him, couldn't help but feel a little stiff.

He is now in a mess and has not learned much news. He is still unclear who the "person" in the conversation between the two is.

But Harry's keen intuition told him that Snape's words must be wrong! They are definitely not good things!

"You want to do this... you want to do this..." Kakarov muttered to himself in a daze, but Snape turned around and walked down the stairs, and he said without looking back.

"Instead of thinking about my affairs, it's better to think about yourself. You should be able to feel that the thing on your arm is sending more and more frequently. If that day really comes, can you escape?"

When his last question came, his voice had become very weak, but Kakarov and Harry, who were still there, heard it very clearly.

Especially Kakarov.

After Snape left, his face slowly calmed down.

He turned around and looked at the full moon hanging high in the sky, and a sneer appeared to be on the corner of his mouth.

"Hope, that's true."

Harry had forgotten how he returned to the Gryffindor lounge.

Anyway, when he was lying on the bed, his body was still covered in cold sweat, and he felt like he had heard something amazing!

He didn't sleep peacefully all night, and he didn't sleep in a daze for a while until the early morning.

By the next day, he pulled Hermione and Ron to the corner of the common room.

Without any concealment, he spoke out all the conversation between Snape and Kakarov that he had overheard.

Hermione glared at Harry before she focused on the point.

"Last time you told me that you had found the hidden secret in the golden egg!"

"This is not the key, Hermione, and it's not too late for me to know now." Harry waved, "The real key is the conversation between Kakarov and Snape! Can you understand what they are talking about?"

It has been so long since the Christmas dance, and the relationship between Ron and Hermione has gradually eased. They will at least not make Harry stuck in the middle and difficult to do.

"This is definitely not a trivial matter. I always think Kakarov is not a good person like Snape."

Instead of evaluating a person based on his impression, Hermione carefully analyzed the conversation Harry reposted about them.

"Kakarov said that Snape is now living under Dumbledore's eyelids, which is equivalent to betrayal..."

She thought about this sentence and then suddenly asked them a question.

"If following Dumbledore is considered a betrayal, it means that Snape before belonged to Professor Dumbledore's hostile camp. Which camp in the entire magic world meets this condition?"

Ron said with a lip silence.

"How is it possible? Professor Dumbledore is the greatest white wizard recognized by the entire magic world. No one dares to go against him."

But Harry seemed to have thought of something, and he couldn't help but shivered.

"Not now, it doesn't mean it didn't before..."

That's all he said, even if Ron was a pig's head, he could understand what Harry meant.

He grew up and looked at Harry and Hermione blankly.

"You mean... Snape, who was once the subordinate of the mysterious man!"

"Apart from this explanation, there is no other way to confirm the conversation between them with Harry last night." Hermione said with a serious look on her face, "It's not just Snape, but Kakarov too. Snape said he was a betrayer, which means that he was the same as Snape!"

Ron looked in disbelief as if he had heard a huge joke.

"One is the principal of one of the three magic schools in Europe, and the other is the dean of Hogwarts! They were once all under the mysterious man! What a joke!"

"They used to have such an identity. Why did Dumbledore dare to leave them in the castle?" Ron looked at Harry, "throw your name into the Goblet of Fire, and the person who wants to see you die may be one of them!"

Harry was also confused at the moment.

He could feel that Hermione's analysis was right, but Lily had told him more than once before that no matter what Snape looked like in the past, Snape must be a good person now.

But according to their conversation last night, Snape's remarks didn't look like something a good person could say, but they were even more like an undercover lurking in Hogwarts.

Harry didn't make any trouble for this matter for long, so he chose the best solution he thought.

Tell the professor everything you hear.

He also made a little trick in choosing which professor to tell him specifically.

After all, he was violating the school rules when he eavesdropped on the conversation. He told Professor McGonagall that he would not be able to escape punishment afterwards.

Dumbledore showed almost unreserved trust in Snape, so Harry of course directly came to Sherlock.

In the office, Sherlock, who has started to write the final exam questions for this semester, listened to Harry's story.

There was no such shock or incredible expression on his face that Harry thought he would see, but instead was very calm.

The leisurely attitude of drinking black tea and eating small biscuits even made Harry wonder if he was telling a fable story for entertainment.

"It's done very well, Harry." Sherlock nodded and praised, "Ignoring the fact that you violated school rules and sneaked to the senior bathroom in the middle of the night. You choose to report to me in time is a very correct choice. Well, I can even add tens of them to Gryffindor for this."
