Chapter 53: Human or God
"Weasley!" Felch cried out with a sinister voice to Ron's surname.
For some well-known reasons, the castle administrator disliked all students named Weasley.
When calling out this surname, it is natural that it seems a little bit gritted.
In the past, when seeing Felch blocking their way, Harry and Ron were already nervous, and Hermione would also begin to wonder if the two troublemakers around her had made some mistakes.
But this time, they completely lost their previous thoughts.
Whether it was Harry, Ron, or Hermione, they all stared at Felch. The expectation in his eyes made Felch feel something was wrong.
"What are your eyes? Do you want to scare me!"
He said with a vigilant look on his face.
Usually he was scared by George and Fred, and at some point, he always showed caution and caution far beyond ordinary people.
But Ron didn't care about what he said, but said it with a try.
"What are you calling me for Felch? Tell me quickly, if you don't say it, we're leaving."
Felch looked suspiciously and patrolled the three of them, sure that they had not found any other problems, and finally spoke.
"I went to the trophy showroom to patrol today and found Weasley! You were punished to clean the room last time, and there was a place that was not cleaned at all! The innermost trophy was still full of dust. I have asked Professor McGonagall for instructions. You will clean it again today until I think it is completely clean!"
He finished speaking, thinking that Ron was going to argue with him a few words that he had cleaned up enough, or just pulled his companion to escape and refused to accept the punishment.
So Filch was ready in advance and was ready to grab Ron's arm at any time.
But unexpectedly, Ron showed no sign of resistance.
Not only that, Ron and Harry actually jumped up excitedly on the spot!
"I did not make any mistakes! I did not violate any school rules!"
"But Felch found you! He imposed a punishment on you!"
Seeing them saying these two sentences with great joy, Felch looked at them with a look that seemed to be looking at a madman.
"You are so happy to be punished by me?"
But no one paid attention to him, and even Hermione was stunned and muttered unconsciously.
"It's all true...it's all because of Professor Forrest..."
Her mentality has changed at this time.
If everything before could be explained by coincidence, could this scene still be a coincidence?
Ron did not violate school rules. He just didn't clean the trophy showroom when he was punished last time, so Felch wanted him to be punished again.
It's nothing strange, but the magic is that it happened after Sherlock just told Ron that if he hadn't made any mistakes before Christmas, Felch wouldn't have trouble him!
This kind of low-probability event occurs frequently, and every time it is after Sherlock's crow's mouth, it is no coincidence.
This obviously has something to do with Sherlock!
"What are you doing?" Felch said impatiently as he looked at Harry and the other two who looked like a fool.
"Even if you pretend to be crazy, you have to clean the trophy showroom Weasley again! Don't try to escape punishment!"
Ron said excitedly.
"Of course I will accept the punishment! You go back to the lounge first and wait for me, and I will be back soon!"
He seemed even more excited than getting a new wand, and left with Felch, who looked like a psychopath.
Harry and Hermione continued to walk towards the Gryffindor lounge.
"You will never think this is a coincidence anymore, right? Hermione." Harry was very excited.
That kind of indescribable excitement was like an unexpected discovery of the biggest bug in the world.
Faced with the fact that she could not deny, Hermione naturally couldn't find a reason to not believe it.
"I really don't understand why there is such a talent? No matter what you say, the final result will develop in the opposite direction. How did Professor Forrest live for so many years? Wouldn't everything in life be disappointing?"
Harry said suddenly with enlightenment.
"No wonder Professor Forrest's personality looks cold. If I had lived such an unsatisfactory life, I would have been crazy."
"Do you think the professor know that he has this...crow's physique?" Hermione suddenly thought of a key question.
Harry scratched his head and guessed.
"It shouldn't be clear, right? If he knew, he would have discovered what our test was going to do, so how could we do it like this?"
Hermione and Harry were in the Gryffindor lounge, waiting for Ron to clean the trophy showroom before returning.
She pondered for a long time and said to Harry.
"We should continue to do the test!"
Harry looked at her with a puzzled look on his face.
"What else should we test? Don't we already know that Professor Forrest is a 100% fulfilling crow's mouth?"
"It's not necessarily 100% fulfillment." Hermione said seriously, "The things before, weather, good luck, and the things that Ron would not be punished by Felch today are all things that are probable, but the probability is high and low, but what if it is something that is definitely not possible?"
"For example, the sun rises from the east every day. If Professor Forrest said, "The sun rises from the east every day, isn't this a normal thing?" Then do you think the sun rises from the west the next day?"
Hearing Hermione's assumption, Harry's mouth widened as if he could stuff Hagrid's fist.
He didn't expect Hermione to have such an incredible guess.
"No, it's impossible! If that's true, then Professor Forrest would have become a god!"
Harry's face was full of horror.
"And if Professor Forrest's crow mouth really has this ability, we went to test and the sun really rose from the west the next day, what should the world do?"
Hermione showed a perfect spirit of scientific assumptions.
"Of course we can't do experiments with serious consequences, so we can change to an experiment with the same meaning but not as serious in terms of results."
They waited in the lounge until Ron came back, and Hermione told them about his plan.
In the end, the three agreed to continue testing Sherlock with this method tomorrow.
Sherlock, who was still trying hard to correct senior grade homework in the office, couldn't imagine that.
