Chapter 55: A World Where Only Hermione Is Wounded

"Professor, I think you have assigned too much after-class homework this time."

Hermione said seriously with her head raised.

Sherlock raised his head in surprise, and he even wondered if he had heard it wrong.

"You said I have assigned a lot of homework?"

Hermione nodded and said seriously.

"Yes, a foot of parchment, I don't think we can do it on the holiday."

Sherlock frowned. He didn't expect that what Hermione came to the office was going to tell him.

He has been a professor in Hogwarts for almost one semester, and he has already figured out what other professors have assigned to him.

If it were normal, there would be a lot of papers a foot long.

As long as there are professors in five courses assigning such homework, the students will have no spare time and spend all day on homework.

But Hogwarts will begin a Christmas holiday next to the summer holiday.

Compared with this holiday, one-foot homework can be said to be optional.

What's more, a foot sounds a lot, but there is no rigid rule on whether the words written on parchment are big or small. As long as it is not too much, even Sherlock turns a blind eye to the public under normal circumstances.

Now, the smartest and most diligent student in the second grade actually came to him and said that he had assigned too many homework and could not finish it during the holidays?

Sherlock felt the problem keenly.

And at this stall, something happened to Hermione, who belongs to the protagonist's team, and it is very likely that it is related to what is happening in Hogwarts recently.

He stared into Hermione's eyes and said lightly.

"I don't think there's a lot of homework for a foot long Miss Granger. If other students come to me, I might think it's an excuse for them to be lazy, but you must be other reasons. So can you tell me why you feel that you can't complete this holiday homework?"

Hermione did not avoid Sherlock's eyes, and even deliberately looked at him. The gaze revealed subtle expectations, which were covered up very cleverly.

"Professor, you mean, if you think there is no other surprise, I will definitely be able to complete this holiday homework and hand it over to you, right?"

Her voice was weak, as if there was something difficult, and she was considering whether to say it to Sherlock.

Hearing her say this, Sherlock felt that he had guessed correctly. Hermione obviously had any hidden information that she didn't want to reveal. No matter what aspect it was, he thought he had to ask clearly.

"Of course, I believe you will complete your holiday homework and hand it to my hands if..."

But unexpectedly, Hermione interrupted him before he could finish speaking.

"Thank you so much for your trust in Professor Forrest. I also feel that I can complete my summer homework and can hand it to you now!"

Hermione's tone revealed excitement, as if she had heard what she wanted to hear, and the purpose of this trip was achieved.

But Sherlock was stunned.

Is this wrong?

Why did you suddenly change your words?

Isn't there something unspeakable? You said it after my constant questioning, and then I found that this happened to be related to the recent attacks in Hogwarts. Is this a plot?

Hermione's failure to play according to the routine made Sherlock stunned.

But Hermione's test has not stopped yet, she said quickly.

"Professor, wait a moment, I will finish my homework now, and I will give it to you!"

Before Sherlock could answer, she ran out of the office quickly and took the two lines of homework from Harry that she had not finished before, and completed it as quickly as possible.

Then he ran back to Sherlock's office with his homework and handed over the completed homework to his hands.

The whole process didn't take more than three minutes.

It was not until this time that Sherlock came to his senses.

He looked at the holiday homework that Hermione respectfully handed to him, and inexplicably felt absurdity in his heart that she was stuck in a game bug.

What the hell is this doing?

A prank from Hermione?

"Professor, can you see if I have completed this homework well?" Hermione said to Sherlock with anticipation.

Sherlock carefully looked at the holiday homework that Hermione handed in advance to him.

The handwriting is neat, the letters are written very small, and densely filled the entire piece of parchment. This is obviously not the result of trying to deal with things casually.

After a rough glance at the content, I wrote about Bogt's habits, characteristics, methods and detection methods in full, which is obviously really attentive.

So what is she trying to do?

Sherlock looked at the homework in his hand, then looked at Hermione with anticipation, and was puzzled.

"Professor, have I completed my homework qualified?" Hermione asked quietly, her tone was still mixed with a little impatient feeling.

Sherlock tossed and turned her over and over and over and studied the homework handed over by Hermione for a long time, but she didn't find any tricks.

"Miss Granger was done well, but you had finished all your homework before you came to me, right? Then why did you say at the beginning that you couldn't finish it?"

Hermione blushed when she heard Sherlock's words and explained in a hurry.

"Sorry, Professor, I just want to make a joke with you..."

Sherlock looked at her with a suspicion.

"Just a joke?"

Hermione's face became hotter.

She felt that she was hypocritical and taught Harry and Ron a lesson before, and they wanted to apologize to Sherlock, but within two days she herself was about to lie to him.

But her intuition told her that it would be better not to say what was tested for the time being.

"Yes professor, it's just a joke, I know I'm wrong."

Sherlock did not continue to doubt the authenticity of Hermione's words. He felt that there was only one most likely to make Hermione do something like this today.

They all learned bad things from Harry and Ron!

"Some jokes shouldn't be made, Miss Granger." Sherlock said seriously. "Although your homework was done well in advance, I will deduct 3 points from Gryffindor for your behavior today. I hope you can learn from it."

Hermione's face was ashamed.

"I know the professor, I won't make such a mistake again in the future."

Seeing that she was proactive in admitting her mistakes, Sherlock did not continue to pursue her problems, and focused on the topic and waved her hand and said.

"Go back, don't relax your requirements even if you have a holiday. Also, I wish you a happy Christmas holiday."

As soon as he finished speaking, Hermione was stunned on the spot, and her face turned red and white in an instant.

It was so sudden that she stood there in a daze, her eyes became empty, and the whole world seemed to have turned gray and white.

Only in my ears seemed to be still echoing the blessings that Sherlock just said.

“I wish you a happy Christmas holiday.”

“…It’s a great Christmas holiday.”

“…Happy Christmas holiday.”

“…Happy holiday.”

“…had a happy life.”

"……joy."

"……quick."
