Chapter 63 Lucius Malfoy
"Malfoy? He didn't go home on Christmas, of course I've seen him in the castle."
Sherlock held his hands in front of his chest and looked at them with his eyes fixed on them.
"You ask me what I'm doing?"
Under the interference of double guilt, Hermione subconsciously avoided his gaze.
"I, we're just curious about the professor. You know, people like Malfoy are not usually very likable. Have you given him any greetings or blessings these days?"
When Hermione was asking, although Harry and Ron did not look at Sherlock's eyes, they couldn't help but erect their ears.
Sherlock raised his eyebrows lightly, and he didn't understand why Hermione asked him this question.
"Greetings or blessings? Does it count as punishment for him to clean the toilet?"
He suddenly seemed to have figured out something, and his eyes gradually narrowed.
"You might be suspicious that I am the murderer behind the scenes?"
Hermione, Harry and Ron blinked together, laughed twice, and looked at each other.
"How could we be a professor? We are just bored, just ask for some information."
"Yes, we just ask for it casually, there is no other meaning."
"Don't misunderstand the professor, we have absolute trust in you."
Sherlock glanced at them.
"Is that true? Then do you want to clean the toilet even if you want to?"
Harry and the other two waved their hands and retreated.
"No professor, we haven't done anything good for you, so let's forget it,"
"I suddenly remembered that we hadn't had dinner yet. We'll go to the auditorium to have dinner first. Goodbye to the professor!"
Looking at their backs running in a hurry, Sherlock curled his lips.
"I actually doubted what these brats thought."
Just after he experienced a little episode of being questioned by Harry and the other three, Snape also brought Draco Malfoy's father, Lucius Malfoy, to Hogwarts.
In Dumbledore's principal's office, Sherlock crossed his hands in front of his chest, leaning against the wall covered with portraits of previous principals, silently watching the good show in front of him.
When Mr. Malfoy was taken to Hogwarts by Snape, his whole face turned black as if it was covered with the grey in the fireplace.
After walking into the principal's room and seeing Dumbledore sitting quietly waiting for him in the seat, he finally couldn't bear it anymore. His two clenched fists were trembling. Malfoy suppressed his inner anxiety and asked in a cold voice.
"I handed over my child to Hogwarts, and you, Dumbledore, you reassure the parents of the students!"
It can be seen that his emotions were not pretending, but were really nervous and anxious, as if he was worried and afraid of something.
Dumbledore slowly crossed his hands and placed them on the desk. He stared at Malfoy's face expressionlessly, and he couldn't tell what kind of emotion he was now from his voice.
"Of course Hogwarts will protect the children's safety, but the professors in this castle, including me, are not all-knowing gods. There are some things we really can't predict."
"You are telling me this now! My son's life and death are unknown! Are you thinking about shirking responsibility?"
Malfoy's eyes seemed to be about to pop out of his sockets, and he stared at Dumbledore.
"I want to expose this matter! Let the school board vote! Exit you from Hogwarts!"
As soon as he said that, Sherlock could clearly feel that Professor McGonagall and Snape's bodies were tense.
Obviously they were all a little nervous, thinking Malfoy would really do what he said.
However, Dumbledore, who was threatened, still looked calm and composed. He leaned back and leaned on the back of the chair and said relaxedly.
"This is your power Lucius, of course you can do that if you want, but will you?"
Malfoy's eyes were filled with blood. His eyes were still not shifting when he stared at Dumbledore, but his gritted teeth slowly relaxed, and his voice was no longer a questioning tone.
"You know I can't. If you can't solve what's going on in Hogwarts, it won't be useful no matter who comes."
Dumbledore's eyes were solemn, and he looked at Malfoy with a serious expression.
"It is not the time to have those disputes in Vanity Fair Lucius, you should know what the most important thing is now. Among the petrified students lying in the school infirmary, your son Draco Malfoy."
Malfoy was silent.
He stood quietly in place, as if he was hesitating, and as if he was considering.
This good show entered the intermission stage, and Sherlock also took the time to tease the Phoenix Fox standing on the Golden Branch.
However, Fox obviously had no interest in him. He was unmoved in the face of Sherlock's teasing, and he raised his head and looked at him with a cold look, as if he was saying "stupid human".
About five minutes passed, and Malfoy seemed to have finally made the weighing. He was no longer strong. When he spoke again, his tone suddenly softened and even begged.
"I am only one son, Dumbledore, Narcissa and I cannot lose him. Please, really..."
Snape and Professor McGonagall were both stunned by Malfoy's performance at this time. They had never seen this fox-like guy showing such a weak posture.
But Dumbledore seemed to have expected this. He stood up from the chair and stared at Malfoy with bright eyes.
"He is a Hogwarts student, and I will try my best to save him without you saying it. But what I want to know is, is there any way to end it all? Or, do you have anything to say to me, Lucius."
"How could I know about the things in Hogwarts?"
Malfoy's voice became louder again, but this time he seemed more stern and cowardly.
"I mean maybe you can tell us something valuable?" Dumbledore was unmoved and still stared at him.
He was silent again.
However, the silence was not long this time, but Sherlock could clearly see that Malfoy had experienced a more difficult mental struggle than he had just made.
Finally, he said in a vague way as if he was pushing out his mouth.
"The youngest girl in the Weasley family has a problem..."
Dumbledore's frown stretched out, and Professor McGonagall looked at Malfoy in disbelief. Although Snape did not act as fierce as hers, he had almost the same gaze.
