Chapter 94 Good night

Countless spears completely killed the snake monster in the lounge.

The black blood was flowing everywhere, Harry, Ron, Neville, and Fox who finally landed beside him, all of them looked particularly embarrassed.

After killing the snake monster, Sherlock could clearly feel that the omnipotent ability was gradually disappearing.

A sense of powerlessness from the depths of his soul made his legs weak and he almost fell to the ground. In the end, Harry discovered that his condition was wrong and ran over to help him up.

At this time, the huge movement in the Gryffindor lounge finally attracted Professor McGonagall and his group.

They crawled into the lounge and looked at the mess in front of them with shock.

"What's going on?" Professor McGonagall asked in disbelief.

Sherlock was supported by Harry and collapsed weakly on the blood-stained sofa, and said in a very weak voice.

"Don't worry about this for now, recruit the students on the train back. Also, do you have anything to eat? Even Hagrid's rock crusts are fine. I'm too hungry now!"

Professor McGonagall lies in this filth without letting Sherlock go.

She and Snape worked together to carry him to the school hospital in Hogwarts. Flewie and Harry carried Ron, who had fainted, to the school hospital. They were also limping with Neville with a sword in their hands.

School physician Mrs. Pomfrey did not leave Hogwarts Castle, and she stayed here after sending the petrified students to the St. Mungo Magic Hospital.

She helped check Sherlock's injuries.

"He was not seriously injured. Apart from some internal organs bleeding, he was just exhausted too much and needed to eat something that could replenish energy."

She took out a large piece of chocolate from her drawer. This high-calorie food could help Sherlock quickly recover his energy, and also left him a bottle of potion for Professor McGonagall to supervise him to drink.

After Mrs. Pomfrey examined Sherlock, she went to take care of Harry and the other three children.

Judging from the injuries they suffered, they were much more serious than Sherlock's injuries.

Professor McGonagall stared at Sherlock and drank the bottle of potion, then asked with a frown.

“What the hell happened?”

Sherlock ate all the large piece of chocolate left by Mrs. Pomfrey in a few bites. Originally, eating too much of this thing would make him feel sweet, but now he only feels satisfied.

"We were deceived. The descendants of Slytherin kidnapped Neville and did not stay in the secret room. Instead, they returned to the Gryffindor common room and waited for Harry to come back. Then, my three children and I worked together to solve him and the Basilar."

Sherlock's retelling was very short, but Professor McGonagall knew that the development of things was much more dangerous than what he said.

She saw Sherlock's fatigue and did not continue to disturb him rest here, but before leaving, Sherlock forced himself to cheer her up and called her.

"The corpse of the basilisk is kept for me. If Snape wants to leave, don't give it to him. Tell him that we tried our best to kill him. If he wants it, he must buy it with real money."

Professor McGonagall couldn't help but smile when he looked at Sherlock's stingy look.

"I feel like you're a little different from before, Sherlock."

Sherlock, who is too lazy to pretend to behave and has completely returned to his nature, said weakly.

"I just felt like I was dying, but now I'm alive and I feel like I can't figure it out."

Professor McGonagall's smile was extremely soft, and there seemed to be tears in the corners of her eyes.

"This is a good thing. After experiencing life and death, people will always understand something."

"Probably." Sherlock murmured weakly, "I'm going to have a sleep, Professor McGonagall, good night."

Professor McGonagall helped him pull up the curtains in the ward to cover up the sunlight that had just risen outside.

"Good night."

......

The students boarded the Hogwarts Express early in the morning, but the train stopped in front of the station without driving, but was waiting for news from Hogwarts.

Soon Professor Flevy hurried to the train and told the guards that Professor Sprout was here that Slytherin's successor had been caught and the monster was killed, and the crisis in the castle was resolved.

In the carriage, all the students were cheering. They shouted and ran off the train excitedly, and some even forgot to take their luggage.

They returned to the castle, and the Gryffindor common room had not been restored to its original state, and many people saw the snake monster that was nailed to death by countless spears.

Snape, who was left to deal with the follow-up, was frowning and looking at the corpse of the basilisk.

His spell could not be removed, the magic on these spears.

Even though his main identity is a potion master, he was able to create a powerful black magic like Divine Wind during his student days, and Snape's attainment in spells and transformation techniques was not low at all.

He could naturally see that these spears of the nailed snake monsters were transformed with fragments of the desk and chair, but it was a bit too much for him to cancel the deformation technique.

The spell that transformed these fragments seemed a bit too powerful. Snape felt that the magic attached to it would not fail even after thousands of years.

These spears will no longer be transformed back into the original wood fragments.

Snape studied for a long time and came to this conclusion. In the end, there was no way. Since he could not turn these spears back, he simply broke them, then used magic to drag the corpse of the snake monster out, and temporarily threw it into Myrtle's bathroom.

Among the three Harry, Ron and Neville, Harry and Ron were the least injured. They only stayed in the school hospital for one morning before coming out.

Neville was not so lucky. He was consumed by Tom and needed to take care of Mrs. Pomfrey for a period of time to recover completely.

As soon as Harry and Ron came out of the school hospital, they were surrounded by students.

Professor McGonagall did not order them not to tell what happened today.

So, just one noon passed, and the whole school knew what was going on in the common room in Gryffindor.

Dumbledore came back in the evening.

When he returned to the castle, Sherlock had woken up. The castle was preparing to hold a celebration party tonight. Before the banquet began, Sherlock came to Dumbledore's office.

Dumbledore looked at Sherlock who was stretching and yawning in without any hesitation, raised his eyebrows and said with a smile.

"I feel that less than a day has passed, and you have become a little different from before."

Sherlock sat lazily on the chair.
