Chapter Seventy-Five

"Master, when I read the "Tao Sutra" yesterday, I didn't understand some things very well."

"Oh?" Feng Ah and other things were immediately left behind by Chonghua. If her apprentice had problems, she must pay special attention to it. This will promote her enthusiasm for learning, exploration and discovery, and her excellent learning quality of asking if she doesn't understand.

"What don't you understand?"

Qianyin handed the remaining soup to Qianxue. Qianxue turned her head with dignity and turned a blind eye.

A divine beast with a beast character will not eat what others eat!

Qianyin then took it back and asked, "The scriptures teach us that everything is false, and we must learn to be indifferent to everything. People are burdened by fame and fortune, and tormented by vanity. In the end, people are empty, fame and fortune are empty, love is empty, and everything is empty. Then, if everything is false, why would you and I stand here at this moment, drink hot soup and speak? Since all everything is false, individuals can be immersed in their own world, only cultivating the mind of Taoism, communicating with heaven and earth, and not being disturbed by external affairs, wouldn't it be closer to the realm of Taoism? When we cultivate immortals, we often meet with the demons, what are we fighting for? Even if we are empty, why should we establish a school, and why should we hold a mountain and compete in secret? "

Chonghua was surprised. She didn't expect that she had such questions. She was only sixteen years old and had a closed life of sixteen years. She was ignorant in human affairs, but she could see other things thoroughly. The battle between immortals and demons was indeed meaningless. It was just a habit of feud. People who could see through it, but people who could not see through it were trapped in the situation and could not extricate themselves.

"All the false things in the universe are first derived from the actual things that exist. There are thousands of categories and thousands of different types, but they all come from the heart. For example, the dispute between fame and fortune is caused by the greed of the human heart. The entanglement of love is caused by the nature/desire of the human heart. If a person has no greed or desire, everything will be stopped. The reason for practicing Taoism is to cultivate the mind of Taoism. The different minds of each person will reflect different results. The origin of all thoughts comes from the heart of the human heart. If a person changes, the world will change. Whether fame, fortune, love and hate is false is caused by how your heart thinks. If you think of it as emptiness, that is emptiness. If you think of existence, that is existence.

There is no difference between emptiness and existence itself. Empty and existence are present, and there is emptiness, and their meanings are the same. The same is true for the reality and reality. The reason why you and I drink hot soup and speak at this time and here is the necessity of the existence of things. We imitate the ancient ancestors to practice Taoism not to live in our own world, but to observe the lives of others in the vast sea of people, and to understand the human hearts that can break through the world. In the turbid world, we can retain our original hearts. Even if the world changes in the world, we can still use an ordinary, calm and peaceful heart to sit and observe the impermanence of the six realms and look at the impermanence of life and death in the world. The ways that each person practices are different, then the ways that they have attained are also different."

Qianyin shook her head: "If this is the case, then how many people in the six realms can understand the mystery? Like Master, you can't watch your disciple die, like me, you can't stand your master being hurt by others. Aren't these bonds the evidence of our existence? If Master can watch me die, and if Master is injured, I can ignore it and look at all indifferently, then what's the point of living?"

Chonghua was choked and sighed for a long time: "Practicing Taoism does not teach people to be ruthless and unrighteous. Everyone has people or things that care about in their hearts. This is the fact and proof of your existence, and it is also a kind of practice. The so-called heartless and ruthless is the ultimate sublimation of heart and sentiment, and being is nothing. It is because of heart that one can understand everything in the world. It is because of heart that one can keep one's mind calm and not be happy or sad for things."
