Chapter Ten Nightmares

"Namouzang Earth King Bodhisattva..."

Zhang Min was mumbling something, and she held tightly a piece of jade to avoid evil that she wore around her neck. She was reciting silently in her heart at the same time.

The evil-avoiding jade was given to her by Yajun because she knew that her birth date was very light and she was weak and sick when she was a child. Moreover, she later learned that she had been seriously ill when she was a child.

Her family was from a rural area, and she passed by the grave. Then that night, her whole body became stiff and cold. Many people said she wouldn't live much longer.

But by chance, a man who knew a little bit about earth magic happened to be passing by at that time, and he saw that she was related to the Buddha. Finally, she burned it with paper, then drew talismans, burned it into ashes and put it in water, and let Zhang Min drink it.

Miraculously, she started to get better after that.

But she had been entangled since she was a child, and her yin energy was stronger and she was more likely to be entangled, so Yajun gave her this evil-avoiding jade.

This is just in case. Now that something strange happens, Zhang Min can only use this method.

She muttered silently, then opened her eyes and began to walk forward tacitly.

The strange thing is that she walked out this time.

She didn't dare to stay any longer because she still felt like something was following her, and she didn't care about wasting money.

After walking out of this dark dead end, Zhang Min took a taxi back to her home where she could feel warm.

"Why did you come back so late today to make up for classes at school?"

Yajun stayed on the sofa and watched TV boredly. Seeing Zhang Min come in, he asked.

"No! We had some late-night snacks outside!"

Zhang Min didn't want to trouble him with anything, and besides, this matter didn't seem serious. Maybe it was just some unclean things on the road deliberately playing tricks on her?

"Are you lying?"

Yajun narrowed his eyes and looked at Zhang Min's forehead, frowning.

"Okay, take a shower and go to bed early!"

Yajun did not ask further questions, and turned his eyes again after saying something.

"kindness!"

Under those eyes that seemed to be able to see through everything, Zhang Min felt her heart beating a little. After she responded weakly, she rushed up to the room on the second floor.

Yajun's eyes moved away from the TV again and focused on the figure rushing up to the second floor. His brows were always furrowed together, full of meaning.

After ten o'clock in the evening, Zhang Min was lying on the bed, but suddenly she felt upset. No matter what, she felt that she could not sleep well. She tossed and turned in bed and couldn't fall asleep.

The curtains were shaking slightly, as if someone was shaking them with their hands. Zhang Min shrank his neck and subconsciously tightened his grip on the quilt.

In this way, it lasted until late at night, and Zhang Min was gradually eroded by sleepiness, and his thoughts began to be intermittent.

"Zhang Min~"

In a hazy moment, Zhang Min seemed to hear a strange man calling his name. It sounded vaguely and unreal.

"Zhang Min~"

The voice came out again, it was the voice of a rich man. Zhang Min felt nervous and suddenly opened his eyes.

The surroundings were in a state of confusion, and Zhang Min remained in a stalemate for more than ten seconds before Zhang Min came to his senses.

It was pitch black all around, but Zhang Min was standing in the middle of the dark and gloomy road. There was not a single car, and the entire road stretched to the end of the darkness. But no one could be seen.

Only silence enveloped him. There were no street lights and no sound. Zhang Min stood quietly in the middle of the wide road, surrounded by darkness.

Zhang Min turned around, and still saw only a road extending into darkness, surrounded by nothing but darkness, and it was impossible to tell where the exit was.

"A dream must be a dream!"

Zhang Min was extremely scared inside, but she kept telling herself in her head that this was just a dream.

However, even if she jumped in a hurry, she still couldn't wake up even though she knew it was a dream, because it was all too real for her to distinguish.

After staying in place for a few minutes, Zhang Min felt that her blood was beginning to stagnate. Then she moved her stiff fingers and started to move forward.
