Extra Story. Encounter in the Afterlife

This is the summer of 2113, and the weather is cloudy.

I have only been in Beijing for a week, but I always feel that I have been here before and have an indescribable familiarity with this city.

But it's similar to what I imagined, it's bustling, lively and has a lot of people.

After working hard for the house for several days, I finally got free today.

With the cloudy days, there may be a lot fewer people on the street?

After all, apart from myself, there should be very few people who like to go shopping on cloudy days...

Thinking of this, I walked out of the door, hurried downstairs and ran upstairs in a panic, putting a small pitiful umbrella in my bag before I could calm down again.

As expected, there were no pedestrians on the street, and even the subway was significantly less crowded.

In fact, it is very likely that there are so few people because they are working now, right? As expected, not everyone is as leisurely as themselves.

Thinking of this, I stuck out my tongue with a little self-deprecating feeling, and then I quickly turned around because of the little movement being seen by the boy sitting opposite me.

I took several stops in the subway, but I didn't know where to go.

In such a big city, you will feel strange wherever you go.

Just as I was thinking this way, I suddenly remembered that when I didn’t come to Beijing, I once heard of a place with “sea without sea”.

I quickly took out my cell phone to check it out and remembered the word "houhai".

A strange name, but it seems to be a good place.

While thinking, I stood up and stared at the subway line next to me for a while, and found that it was not far from my current location.

I couldn't help but smile, then, go there.

After leaving the subway, I realized that I had made a wrong choice. Not to mention the sea, I didn’t even see the water.

There are many old houses beside the road, with the walls covered with scratches of time, as if they will collapse with a slight touch.

I originally thought I would have seen such a house in my hometown, but I didn’t expect that there would be one in Beijing.

Thinking of this, I couldn't help but walk into the alley, but every time I took a step forward, my heart trembled gently.

I always feel that this is a path I have walked.

The blue bricks on both sides are already a little white, and people can still see the words carved on them from time to time.

I can't help but want to reach out and touch it, but when I was about to touch it, I still shrank my hand back.

If it falls apart, I can't escape!

I was thinking about these strange thoughts in my head, and the pace under my feet also accelerated a little.

But soon I stood still again. The long alley had reached its end, and what appeared in front of me was another slightly wide aisle.

There are many small shops on both sides, and there are a lot more people.

It seems that the so-called "Houhai" is nearby, right? Although I no longer have any beautiful fantasies, I feel that there are too many people and I feel a little distressed.

Unexpectedly, just after thinking about it, a chilling feeling came from the back of my hand.

I was stunned for a moment, raised my head and heard a commotional sound from the crowd.

It's raining? The dense raindrops fall from the sky.

A little fortunate that the prophet calmly took out an umbrella from his bag and looked at the crowd running in front of him and was a little proud.

However, when I saw a couple running through my eyes with their coats covering the rain, I felt a little frustrated.

After sighing, I walked along the road.

The sound of rain falling sounded surprisingly good. After walking for a while, I was still attracted by the sign of a century-old store hanging at the door.

Is a century-old store? Will the owner be as old as a fairy?

With this idea in mind, he put away his umbrella and walked in quietly.

The owner looks like he is only in his forties, which is different from what he imagines.

After looking around, I found that it was a store selling handmade products, and there seemed to be nothing special.

He shook his head helplessly. Just as he was about to go out, he was suddenly attracted by a thick cowhide book placed at the door.

I couldn't help but walk forward and found that the cowhide was old and the paper was a little yellowed.

After turning it open, I took a few glances and my heart suddenly became quiet.

Each page has different handwritings, and each page has different words.

It's been a long time since I looked at the date, so I can't count the time above.

After turning through several pages in a row, it was obviously bound, and the book was surprisingly thick.

At this time, I accidentally glanced at the watercolor pen beside me, and hesitated for a moment, but still reached out.

Just as my fingertips were about to touch the pen, the familiar feeling emerged from my mind again.

There was an inexplicable flash in front of me, and I accidentally touched the pen to the ground.

With a "bang", the pen rolled quickly on the ground.

I felt a little depressed and quickly bent down and got enough anxiously, but just as I was about to get it, a hand suddenly appeared in front of me and took the pen up.

I couldn't help but stand up and look up in the direction of my hand.

There was a strange boy standing in front of him, with some tiny drops of water on his hair and his eyes were filled with tenderness and anxiety.

Before I could come back to my senses, his low voice rang in my ears

: "Here, I'll give it to you."

At that moment, it seemed as if something had woken up in my memory.

A gust of wind blew in from the door, and the notebook behind him rustled.

The moment he took the pen from his hand, the wind stopped.

The notebook behind him also stayed on a yellowed page.

The lower right corner of the page.
